  1. In his last experiment, Aldrah had done it alone, with no supervisor to look at, where in this experiment he had achieved some level of progress. This time though, he called Sors to look.
  2.
  3. As he climbed the second floor, Aldrah first started by showing the place to Sors, "Here I have everything I need, my bookshelf, a table to carry out the experiments and some boxes with animal bodies and the humans I killed."
  4.
  5. After showing the place to Sors, Aldrah quickly headed for the boxes, where from inside he pulled the body of the human that contained a hole in the belly and the throat.
  6.
  7. "This one I hunted him, where I threw an ice spear in his belly and then finished piercing his throat with the same spear." Aldrah grinned.
  8.
  9. At the end of his speech, he placed the body of the human on the table. Then he faced Sors to see if he had anything to say before Aldrah started the proceedings.
  10. (Aldrah)
  11.
  12. The Necromancer floated after Aldrah, looking around the house that he was introduced to. Grey and gold held not interest in the surroundings, just following after the junior necromancer as they exposed the location. There were tables, boxes and bookshelves, but it did not interest him.
  13.
  14. Instead he focused only when the body was revealed. "Good. Hopin' it was a heretic o' someone fun ta hunt, ya? Put tha' body on tha table. Bring it back ta life real slow like an' show ya progress."
  15. (Sors Ultovex)
  16.
  17. Aldrah pulled out his box of utensils from the inside of the table drawer and set it beside the body on the table. He opened the box and pulled out a needle, thread and a scapel.
  18.
  19. As always, everything was prepared, Aldrah should only start the steps, starting with the Corpus Creare.
  20.
  21. He began to make a cut in the region of the belly, using his scapel, where it had been pierced. Surely he would have to find a way around his wounds.
  22.
  23. Inside the human body, his stomach was pierced from side to side. Aldrah then began to close the wound in the stomach, sewing both sides of the wound. After sewing the stomach of the body, he began to close the wound in the back and then the front, where he had made a cut and was pierced.
  24.
  25. With the part of the belly repaired in a certain way, Aldrah went to the neck, which was also pierced. He sewed the back of the neck, but left the front, to have access to the veins. Aldrah took his scalpel and cut a vein, grasping it with his left hand, then conjuring water and sending it into the vein. Viscus Vitae. Water flowed steadily into the human's vein, filling his body with fluids. After a certain amount, when Aldrah saw that it was enough, he stopped and sewed the two ends of vein, which he had cut off.
  26.
  27. With a body full of fluids, Aldrah stitched the hole in the throat of the body, completing both Corpus Creare and Viscus Vitae processes.
  28.
  29. "Well, now let's go to the part that I'll try to bring him back to life." He glanced quickly at Sors, ??then turned his gaze to the body on the table.
  30.
  31. Aldrah placed both hands on the head of the dead, he would now send his energy to the body, refill the magic circuits with mana.
  32.
  33. Before beginning to send his energy to the body, Aldrah recited a few words, as he always did, "The time has come! Come back to life now!" After speaking these words, Aldrah began to send his mana to his body in a controlled and constant manner.
  34.
  35. There should be control so that the mana that went to the body was not too much and exploded the body, or it was not enough and could not complete the process of reviving the human.
  36.
  37. The mana began to fill the circuits of the brain, slowly filling until fully completing the organ.
  38.
  39. After filling the brain, the energy began to flow to the circuits of the spine, wrapping it to the end.
  40.
  41. The heart began to receive mana as soon as the spine was filled. The heart circuits began to slowly fill up, where in the end it was already possible to feel the energy beginning to be pumped into the rest of the organs.
  42.
  43. With the heart pumping energy, the stomach began to receive mana, as did the rest of the circuits through the body. Completely filling them.
  44.
  45. When Aldrah could already feel the soul, which was pulled into the body by the circuits that now flowed with mana, the magi raised his hands upward, it was time for the final step to pull the soul into the body.
  46.
  47. The magi took deep breath, closed his eyes and said, "I command you to go back to the body now and get up once more and serve me!" At the end of his speech, he pulled down what he caught in the air. Such an act thrust the soul at once into the body.
  48.
  49. A circle of green energy formed around the body, was not weak like the last time, but still it was not strong enough to emit a lot of light.
  50.
  51. The body began to have violent spasms, then diminished and his fingers and toes moved, his arms began to move slowly and body began to rise slightly up. But as the body began to rise, the circle around the body dissipated, the body immediately fell on the table and Aldrah could feel the soul escaping from the body.
  52.
  53. This time there was more progress than the last attempt, Aldrah felt he was getting closer and closer to success, he just needed to try a few more times and he could do it!
  54.
  55. "Well, I feel like I'm close to achieving success, I've had much more success than in my last attempts!" He stared at Sors again, waiting to see what his tutor would say about the experiment.
  56.
  57.
  58. (Aldrah)
  59.
  60. Lord Ultovex floats in the air, watching the procedure take place. The Corpus Creare and Viscus Vitae served their functions, repairing the body easily so that it could house life, or rather unlife. The magic circuits were done in the correct way as well, starting with the brain, following after to the spin which then flowed to the heart. From that organ it moved to the stomach, welling it up with power.
  61.
  62. But it was much too hasty. The speed at which he demanded the soul return instead of taking his time looked to the older Necromancer like it may have caused it to slip away at an inopportune moment. The body spasmed and the circle dissipated, but the soul quickly had left the body behind due to the quick and improper addition.
  63.
  64. "Slow it down, ya? When ya bind tha' soul ta the body, tha' ain't something ya can rush. Give it a few minutes ta find 'em rite soul ta bind and get ya mana ready fer it. Else it's gon end up like this, an empty husk tha' ain't undead.
  65.
  66. Closer, but make sure ya take 'em time, ya?"
  67. (Sors Ultovex)
  68.
  69. "Oh, I see.." Aldrah scratches his neck "I hurried a little.. And that's why I failed.."
  70.
  71. In fact Aldrah was being too hasty with the proceedings, he should give more time for the soul to fix in the body, not to end like this time. Having Sors' help greatly facilitated Aldrah's experiments.
  72.
  73. "Well, I guess that's it for now, we can continue another day." Aldrah was silent, waiting for Sors's reply.
  74. (Aldrah)
  75.
  76. "Hurry ain't no excuse fer mistakes. Ya can't afford ta fail experiments cause o' minor errors. Thangs like tha' real inconvenient. But ya gettin' closer ta tha' prize. Practice takin' ya time.
  77.
  78. Next time, 'spectin' it ta be finished an' runnin'." Sors hands moved behind his back, and Lord Ultovex nodded. "Ain't got mor' fer ya now. We can continue some other time, ya."
  79. (Sors Ultovex)
