-background:
Taesun was raised by his father who was a gymnast with a weak muscle augmentation mutation. His mutation was so small that he was able to pass off as human, and never even told his son, assuming that if he had a mutation that it would be similar. He trained him to be a gymnast like him, but he ended up becoming an acrobat and contortionist in the circus. It was in the circus that he first discovered his powers at age 19. During a show, Taesun had just come offstage after his performance with his partner and was asked to help out with the ending special effects and lighting. While he was handling the strobe lights, his hands and entire body began to glow and he accidentally amplified the strobe, blinding some of the backstage crew.
        After the fact, he managed to pass the incident off as a malfunction with the lights, not alerting anyone to his mutant abilities. However, he told her father since he trusted him and was afraid. He had begun to glow at odd times and was burning things with his hands, even accidentally burning his dad because he got worked up while explaining things. Since his father is a mutant, he was terrified of what would happen to her. He knew that Taesun’s power was much more volatile and dangerous than his and he did not have much control over it, so he told her it was best if she disappeared and learned how to control her powers. Even though he had managed to lie about what happened with the lights, someone would eventually find out. So he found some fellow mutant contacts and sent her to the streets to find others who could protect her in the underground.
-personality: Taesun is very active and hates to stay still. At heart he is an athlete and a performer, so he is always energetic and entertaining. He loves to make people laugh and tell jokes or do silly things. Particularly, he loves to do acrobatic tricks in weird places to surprise people. Sometimes, it can seem as though he is faking her happiness since he acts as though he is performing often. However he genuinely just enjoys life and other people. Taesun has no time for boring things and is always looking for a new adventure or challenge. He was never particularly gifted in academics and he doesn’t have much self control. His impulses often win over and can lead to him doing reckless things for the sake of it being fun. This also causes a lot of conflict with people who are smarter or more cautious and like to think things through. His whole life was based around wowing people and even though he is not longer a part of the circus, this trait has not left him.
