  45. 1. After being humiliated, the Chinese developed a sense of nationalism.
  46. 2. The people in charge of reforming China were arrested in thought of them being a threat to the power of China.

  49. 1. Chinese citizens developed a secret organization to fight for better lives.
  50. 2. The secret organization rioted many areas of China.
  51. 3. Despite the failure of their riots, nationalism was created from this.

  53. B. The Beginnings of Reform
  54. 1. The government eventually relaized they needed to make a change and they ended up developing their society based off other societies.
