Flammable Love

Andrej finished packing. Ever since Bastet, his own true love, had been lost at sea, Andrej had been deadly.

There was nothing left for him anymore, nothing annihilated him, all was god-tiered. So today, Valentine's Day, he was going upon the roof to become a burning faygo bomb.

Just then, there was an exploded knock at the door. Andrej opened it and stood there derpily for a moment, before falling to the floor in a swoon and bruising his eye.

When Andrej came to, Bastet was holding his eye and looking electrifying. "My love," Bastet said luckily, "I'm sorry for the deceased shock. I've been shipwrecked on an explosive island for the last ten years, living like a stick of C4 at 400 atmospheres of pressure. I was only rescued last week." She paused. "I lost my eye in the wreck. Can you still love me?"

Andrej could hardly believe his Bastet had returned. "I will always love you, eye or no eye. Besides, you can cover it up with a nightmare squiddle."

They embraced while on fire and vowed to never be parted again.

And all was nightmarish.
