- Can we please request to have incoming IPM files received by us in EBCDIC 1014 format please? Because otherwise it's going to be messy, sending in EBCDIC and then receiving in ASCII. We would like to streamline all to the same encoding.
- The files to be configured in EBCDIC 1014 format are T112 files (Production IPM data generated by MasterCard from Central Site) and T120 for testing.
- Let me know if you want me to provide additional information.

- Also can you let us know if we can send and receive ipm files in a certain format, for example in EBCDIC without RAW rather than in EBCDIC 1014. Can we configure our endpoint to start receiving files from MC in a different format to what it is set at the moment?

- The first record (DE71: #2) in the file is a MasterCard Manual Purchase signature so it’s not e-commerce.

- First 2 IPM files are for ecommerce and last file includes all POS transactions.

- This is to confirm that we received first reports following the change in IPM file format.
- We are currently looking into the errors and will provide you with an updated IPM file later on today.
- In the meantime can you please look into an issue where we are getting error code: 1087 ACQUIRER'S BIN NOT A VALID ACQUIRER BIN.
- This is happening for when we are processing transactions in British Sterling Pound (GBP), and the acquirer bin that we are using is 588777.
- Can you please advise why we are getting such error? Should we just stick with EUR transactions for testing purposes?

- The Expected format to upload the files in GCMS would be EBCDIC 1014.I assume that would be the reason for the files to get failed at your end. Please upload it in the EBCDIC format ideally it should work.

- Say we upload and transfer some IPM files with First Presentments to the testing clearing system via the MFE client, can you advise if the system will provide us with chargeback files automatically for the first presentments?

- While looking at the issue of MSI we found out that DE 33 is not include in any of your transactions. So you need to include this in every transaction request you send to Mastercard.
- DE 33 must be present in messages together with DE 32 whenever the Mastercard customer ID
- number of a CPS or INF is different than the Mastercard customer ID number of the actual acquiring
- institution.
- I will schedule a call for tomorrow and we can test some transactions with DE33.
- Also we need to test all the pending transactions and collect the logs for the same which we will do tomorrow.
