- -The Rise of the Third Empire-
- 1172 - 1220 Asherick I Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- The Long Winter was ended, and the Empire was
- made whole once more. The rule of Garwaen was
- extended far beyond the borders of Lestony,
- and the Emperor was recognized in the lands of
- Skirae and Hyria. Stormward was taken and the
- Granmark re-established.
- 1220 - 1224 Deston I Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- Though beloved as a prince, Deston is not
- much remembered for his reign as emperor.
- 1224 - 1243 Asherick II Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- The Kelachs paid homage to the emperor in
- Garwaen, and the Naxians were defeated
- three times upon the sea when they tried to
- contest his son's claim to the throne.
- 1243 - 1278 Deston II Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- Naxos was brought into the Empire, and it
- was said that Garwaen ruled all of Orsia.
- -The Realmsbane-
- 1278 - 1286 Edrick I Realmsbane Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- The Naxians rebelled, and named his cousin
- Daracus as their king. Trusting in the
- counsel of his cousin Tybrit Sciri, the Earl
- of Kendrick, he nearly led the realm to ruin,
- losing Naxos to the rebels. In the final year
- of his reign, his cousin Aethery, Warden of
- the Granmark, rose up against him. He was
- murdered by a servant as Aethery's army
- laid siege to Garwaen.
- -The Thanes' War-
- 1286 - 1287 Aethery the Savior Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- Belonging to a distant cadet line, Aethery's
- claim was in much dispute, and he was accused
- of assassinating Edrick. Though he hoped to
- launch an invasion to reclaim Naxos, he was
- thwarted by the machinations of Tybrit Earl of
- Kendrick, who was Edrick's cousin and wed to
- Edrick's daughter, and united the Thanes of the
- Leston heartlands against him. His only ally in
- Lestony was his cousin Tybrit Stromward, who
- replaced him as Warden of the Granmark. He
- died of natural causes.
- 1287 - 1289 Deston III Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- He battled the armies of Tybrit Earl of Kendrick.
- The Kelachs and Skiraens rebelled against his rule
- and established petty kingdoms that lasted for
- many years. He was killed in battle and his seven
- year old son Corwin exiled to the Granmark.
- 1289 - 1303 Tybrit I Sciri
- IN HIS REIGN
- He secured Leston rule over Hyria, but was
- unable to subdue the Kelachs, Skiraens, or the
- Granmark. He was regarded as a hero by the
- nobility, but as a cruel tyrant by the common
- people, and they supported Corwin Davacyn when
- he sought to win back his father's throne.
- Camren made a secret alliance with Tybrit's
- cousin Sario, who slew Tybrit in his sleep.
- -The Iron Fist-
- 1303 - 1331 Corwin the Steadfast Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- The Skiraens and Kelachs were subjugated. The
- Thanesmoot was dissolved for their part in
- Tybrit's treachery and Corwin ruled absolutely.
- Five further rebellions were defeated and the
- Empire prospered.
- - The Great Rebellion-
- 1331 - 1333 Edrick II Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- The Kelachs, Skiraens, and Hyrians rebelled.
- He was slain at the Battle of Tinn Saighidh.
- -The Reconciliation-
- 1333 - 1375 Deston IV Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- He defeated the Hyrians and Skiraens and made
- peace with the Kelachs, establishing his uncle
- Deston as Warden of the Sutherland March. His
- cousin, Tybrit Stromward, the Warden of the
- Granmark, made a dark pact with the Winter King
- and rose up to usurp the Silver Dragon Throne.
- He was defeated and the Winter King sealed in
- Stromward once more.
- 1375 - 1392 Tybrit III Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- His reign was peaceful and just, but he became
- irate in his later years due to his inability to
- bare a male heir. His brother in law Aetherick,
- Warden of the Sutherland March, persuaded him to
- wed his daughter Morgia to his nephew Edrick,
- allowing the Davacyn line to continue.
- -The War of the Wyverns-
- 1392 - 1399 Edrick II Sutherland
- IN HIS REIGN
- His succession was challenged by Tybrit's nephew
- Deston, Warden of the Granmark, who as the son of
- a brother rather than a sister had a better claim.
- He was backed by his father Aetherick the Warden
- of the Sutherland March. He was slain in the Siege
- of Briston.
- 1399 - 1405 Deston V Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- He claimed the throne and killed Edrick and his father
- Aetherick, but was contested by Edrick's brother and son,
- both named Deston. He reigned for six years before being
- assassinated by his brother Morgar.
- 1405 - 1410 Morgar Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- Backed by House Denere of Tyston. Killed Deston Sutherland
- on the field of battle, but was defeated by Deston Davacyn,
- son of Emperor Edrick.
- -Deston's Spring-
- 1410 - 1428 Deston VI Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- Took the name of his mother's house and wed Coreth, daughter
- of Deston V, to secure his claim to the throne. He named his
- marshall, Beorick Boldon, Warden of the Granmark. Killed Osgar
- son of Morgar, ending the War of the Wyverns, though some
- called him a coward for killing a young boy. The destruction
- caused by the war brought new power to the common people, and
- Deston implemented a number of legal reforms that weakened the
- authority of the nobility.
- -The Leston Risings-
- 1428 - 1464 Deston VII Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- His early reign was marked by a policy of development and
- centralization, and he dreamed of restoring the empire to its
- former glory. While a popular emperor in his youth, he became
- increasingly easily manipulated by the nobility, and this
- alienated him from the common people. His later reign saw the
- Stormcrown Uprising, led by the Thane of Stromcreow. While the
- uprising was eventually defeated, he was assassinated soon
- after.
- 1464 - ???? Tybrit IV Davacyn
- IN HIS REIGN
- His succession to the throne was disputed by Garrick Rudgar,
- Thane of Grennfell, who crowned himself High King of the
- Lestons.
