ღ ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ; crybaby:
”Here come the waterworks again”
-Jieun is known amongst her friends and family to be a MAJOR crybaby. Whether it may be a sappy song/movie, a minor inconvenience in her life, or something tragic, best believe that her tear ducts are ready to start crying at any second. If she really wanted to, she would actually cry a river.

Positive: “There’s that famous smile of yours!”
-It could be that she doesn’t want others to feel what she once felt, but she’s always trying to be a positive figure. You will never once see this girl with a gloomy aura around her. Jieun will almost always have a smile on her face and will try her best to talk to all of her classmates. It’s known amongst the juniors that whenever the hwang girl is absent from school, the atmosphere just becomes dull.

Naive: “Please don’t be so trusting of people”
-She always ignores the flaws that people have. Because of this trait, it always leads to some people taking advantage of her kindness. She will go to hell and back for any of her loved ones, but sometimes she just cares too much for the people that don’t really care for her at all. Sure, she may treasure her friendship with that person, but that doesn’t mean that the person will reciprocate that same feeling.

Scared Cat: “Why do you get on rollercoasters when you’re scared of them?”
-The dark, sudden noises, heights, etc. Jieun is afraid of a lot of things. She may not admit it, but this girl is just a big scaredy cat. Whenever her friends tease her about it, she gets riel up and denies that she’s afraid of said topic. She will even endure her fears to prove a point. For example, she went on the Viking with her friends to prove that she wasn’t afraid of heights. Let’s just say that you could hear her screaming all the way from Seoul to Jeju.

-She used to have the FATTEST crush on Yukhei
-Jieun likes going on little adventures at night with her friends(or that special someone( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-Jieun and her brother Jihoon(see what I did there) are currently living with the Wong’s who are family friends of theirs
-her favorite color is white
-She Stans stray kids
-has never been outside the country
-is a sucker for pretty smiles
-is besties with Jeno(she would sometimes where his jerseys on game days)
-has recently dyed her hair red and is in love with it(she lowkey misses her brown hair tho)
-Used to dance ballet when she was younger
-Has a shopping problem

ღ ʙᴀᴄᴋɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ ; back on the Island, she didn’t really have many friends. Since Jieun was always busy with ballet, she wouldn’t show up at school a lot. Because of this, she wasn’t able to make friends with the other kids in her class. She felt alone. Although they were nice to her and chatted about the school work, the kids didn’t bother becoming her friend knowing she would be absent sooner or later. For this reason, she dropped ballet.

Her mother and father started to become more busy with their professions and didn’t have a ton of time to spend with their kids. The two thought it would be best to send their kids to live with the Wongs, their family friends. The two siblings weren’t so keen on the idea, but nonetheless, the duo were sent off to live with the Wongs. Jieun and Jihoon(not surprisingly) settled in alright. Because the two were already familiar and comfortable with the Wong’s their new life seemed to have a good start.

Now, to address Wong Yukhei, he was Jieun’s first love. Ever since she could remember, she adored that boy with all her heart. And the feelings were mutual, just not in the same way. Since Yukhei is older then Jieun, he saw her as a younger sister. A little girl he has to protect. So, when it came time for Jieun to confess…let’s just say that Yukhei had to comfort a crying Jieun. The two are now in a love-hate relationship. They get along one minute and then they start teasing and bickering the next. Safe to say, no bad feelings there.
