  1. “I met your sister,” said the tax person. Ron knew his time was up. First they dealt with his sister, now they’ll deal with him. Ron messed up his tax returns.
  2.
  3. Ron couldn’t speak. He was shaking, shaking harder then ever before. Ron had helped fight Voldemort before but this, this was something different. This was something powerful.
  4.
  5. “What do you want from me?” Ron asked, trembling in his voice. Ron was prepared for the worst. “I just want your updated tax returns, sir”.
  6.
  7. Ron —who woke up not too long ago— didn’t have his socks on. “Where are my socks?!” he screamed. Ron had a very hard time when he saw the tax person last. His socks were his safety blanket and now he doesn’t have them. Now he is alone.
  8.
  9. Across London, another tax person was having a hard time getting out of the labyrinth at Gringott’s. After Revenue and Customs found out about Diagon Alley, they were raiding the bank for lost tax.

  12.
  13. Ron was taking too long. The tax person, and by extension Inland Revenue, were tired of waiting. The tax person warned Ron to hurry up or he’d be arrested for tax fraud. Time was running out.
  14.
  15. Back at Gringott’s, the Goblins realised that their work simply was too much. Now that they had to complete forms for Revenue and Customs, they felt that they weren’t getting paid enough for the burden. The Goblins collectively decided that they would become lion tamers.
