  1. Genrira holds the last bit of the remains from the Kindling Lighthouse. It was one of the things he had to remind him of the hellish battle besides the spirit in his mind screwing with his concentration when meditating. Genrira held it with his palm up closer to him.
  2.
  3. He takes a while to examine it carefully. The beast interested him and his interest in Sors grew much more than before. There were many things going through his mind. "Sors… I knew he was strong just by feeling his magic when he opens the rift, but to be able to make something like this... an artificial creation that could use cosmic magic to such a level."
  4.
  5. His thoughts trail off for a moment thinking about the fight over all. The use of cosmic magic was much more advance than when he utilized it. He was reminded of what Kuja had said to him. To think outside the box using the foundation to forge a path for himself.
  6.
  7. While lost in thought the Kindling spirit started reacting with his mind. He held his head trying to keep it together, but the spirit and the flesh covered Orchilacum started to resonate. While it usually has an aura of terror and death Genrira suddenly felt something.
  8.
  9. He felt an extremely strong cosmic presence from it. He felt the source of the star that was used to power the Kindling. The man's eyes shot open while the resonation was occurring. He could sense the properties of the star. It was a very violent and aggressive star. A testament to one that such an abomination Sors created used in battle.
  10.
  11. While Genrira was injured he also knew this was a chance. Many things were going through his mind. Was this a trap? Could the Kindling be trying to screw with him once more? His mind was racing, and he knew he had to make a decision quickly.
  12.
  13. His hand grips the flesh tightly trying to come to a decision. He wasn't one to usually pray but he had to pray to a god that this wouldn't fuck him over horribly. He sought strength, so he could wonder the world again, so no one would dare try to take his life. He wasn't no hero of justice and actually quite the opposite a scumbag at heart but one that desired freedom.
  14.
  15. "If it's a blessing then it won't be a calamity. If it's a calamity then it can't be avoided." Those words were uttered by Genrira and with a decisive look in his eyes he begins channeling his mana throughout his mana circuits having a difficult time.
  16.
  17. He knew the risk and he knew that this was going to come with a cost, but it was one he had to take. He decided to take a few steps first. Genrira takes a lax essence to ease the pain from his current injuries. How could he recklessly go about this without doing something so basic first. He was someone that plan things step by step.
  18.
  19. Next thing on the list was to find a quiet place. He headed to Aeton's room of all places and locks the door. Then he moves the chair in front of the door to further block out all disruptions. A single misstep could cost him. This already wasn't absolute so why not.
  20.
  21. Finally he takes a seat and sits cross legged preparing to enter a meditative state. This was the most difficult thing to do as the Kindling spirit often screwed with him intensifying the hallucinations. Genrira begins to sweat. The Kindling was screwing with him causing him to see the worse of the worse of the people he cared about.
  22.
  23. Utilizing his will power Genrira was eventually able to suppress the hallucinations. From there however came the real danger. The connection with the star. The lingering energy the star gave off started Genrira felt it. It was as he guess the star was a violent one. The man breaths out softly and begins absorbing the lingering energy from the star the Kindling connected with.
  24.
  25. With his messed-up mana circuits Genrira started to feel extreme pain. The good part about being in an isolated room was no one could hear him scream. So, he let out his voice as if he was screaming bloody murder. The pain he was in was torture. The violent energy was hard to control, and it continue to pour into him.
  26.
  27. Genrira went from sitting cross legged to flat on his back. His face twisted while he screamed. The energy resonated with the energy that screwed up his mana circuits in the first place! Genrira rolled on his side panting. He was trying to regain himself, but the star pours down on him without mercy.
  28.
  29. Through his hallucination he heard the Kindling spirit laughing at him for being so foolish to attempt this. It was laughing at his pain and suffering. Genrira knew that if he didn't get it together it was going to be all over for him. He had to make a connection with the star if he was going to survive.
  30.
  31. Utilizing his mana in a messed-up state he focused on the mana circuits that did not have the Kindling cosmic energy in them and begins to flow this excess to them. He had to guide it to relieve some of the pain. With the pain becoming less intense than before the man was able to have more room to concentrate and perform the task he needed to do.
  32.
  33. He struggles and forces himself on his feet never letting go of the hunk of flesh. He used this excess energy to empower him now and fix a certain aspect of his body. That was to remove the original energy the Kindling used to fuck up his mana circuits in the first place! Genrira now guides the cosmic energy to his contaminated circuits forcing the energy out. He knew it was going to take some time to heal his mana circuits even with the cosmic energy no longer contaminating them, but he expected them to heal a lot quicker than before.
  34.
  35. Yet something else happen to Genrira that he never suspected. With the excess energy flowing out of his body the room lit up. He glances back and the Kindling energy that flowed out created wings of pure cosmic energy! Although he had no control over it and since it was the energy he was trying to get rid of he couldn't access this state yet, but he found a path by a freak accident.
  36.
  37. Genrira was shocked but didn't have time to take in the sight. With his mana circuits no longer contaminated he begins to focus on the task at hand. He had no intention of giving up the original star he had formed a connection with, but to add this star to it held out flowing the star's energy through his mana circuits and expelling the energy it gave until the connection was completed.
  38.
  39. The man's body was reaching its limits and he was on the verge of passing out. The star energy leaked out from his circuits and to some of his organs. Not a lot did but it was enough to cause an impact. Genrira spits out three consecutive mouthfuls of blood and blood started running down his lip.
  40.
  41. With the star seeming to calm down now Genrira focuses his mind on the source now. His body was a mess but through his mana circuits that were still good he fed it to the piece of flesh and used it to transmit to the star. The Kindling spirit had remained, but the body was gone. The connection now was going smoothly.
  42.
  43. After the hellish experience the man finally had success. He connected with the violent star making it his own and forming a minor relation to it. In addition, due to the freak accident he also knew the path he had to walk to mimic the creature's abilities. Even if his body's condition was worse than before this could be fixed with an elixir but for now he decided to settle for a bit of rest and kick back a bit before attempting to craft one.

  46. August 12, 2019 2:25 AM
  47. Genrira enters the clinic doing something different than usual. Because this was a public building the man walks in. This was the first time he was inside the place, so he decided to look around a bit.
  48.
  49. Taking in the sights he begins walking up the steps very slowly. The man seemed relaxed yet there were a few things on his mind. Mainly something Mistletoe said about relaxing. Perhaps he had truly let his guard down to teach his daughter the ways of the world, but he realized something. He could no longer afford to do this.
  50.
  51. Upon reaching the top of the steps he turns to face Mistletoe. His facial expression became stern. "Greetings. I've been thinking about what you've mention not too long ago in passing and because of this I want to ask you for your assistance on something very important."
  52.
  53. He leans up against the wall waiting for his answer. To those who sense mana they'd could tell that the Kindling spirit was still inside him and it was very active.
  54. (Genrira)
  55. August 22 1:08 AM
  56. The ink quill ran ever so deep.
  57.
  58. Mistletoe worked quietly-- Diligently even in the comfort of the Clinic. A warm day like this provided the much needed light for correcting documentation, but it was in his solace that he preferred much darker, atmospheric moments.
  59.
  60. The felt tip would work quietly upon the parchment, connecting streaks of black ink and pooling the liquids together. Hearing the footsteps nearing that of the staircase, Mistletoe would return the pen to its holster, and move his chair back a step.
  61.
  62. The audible creek of the wooden seat would be heard, the rough scrape against the tile flooring. Mistletoe turns his attention to Genrira.
  63. . . .
  64. ".. Ah. Genrira.
  65. To what do I owe this-- .."
  66.
  67.
  68. Mistletoe's expression becomes that of one confused, perplexed even ..
  69.
  70. He purses his lips for a moment. Because of the teachings of Sors and recent events, Mistletoe now has a slightly stronger attunement to the Lifestream. After his lesson in Necromancy, he now finds himself much more attune to feeling Spiritual pressure, and even discerning the life-force of a being.
  71.
  72. Mistletoe is lost in thought for a moment, as he stares at Genrira, mostly confused and unsure of what was going on.
  73.
  74. He felt a second presence, but could not confirm it.
  75. (Mistletoe)
  76.
  77.
  78. August 22 1:22 AM
  79.
  80. Genrira was one to pick up on things quickly. He noticed something seemed off by Mistletoe's reaction. He often paid attention to body language even more so than he did in the past. That was one thing he learned in his years with Elma when they did not speak the same language.
  81.
  82. For the time being Genrira paid it no mind keeping Mistletoe's reaction to the side, however referencing figuring he'd find out later. His expression had not changed the slightest. His mouth parts once more speaking.
  83.
  84. "When I received my third mana circuit injury I connected to a violent star. It was the star of the creature that we fought in Sors prison and the thing almost took me out. However, in doing so the excess energy from the violent star made me discover something accidently."
  85.
  86. Genrira closes his eyes remembering the feeling and the battle he had with the Kindling Lighthouse with everyone. The wounds he received healed, but the spirit remained making his madness worse than before by a lot to the point even Holz wondered if it was too late for him.
  87.
  88. "I accidently utilized its ability which gave it wings. I felt like I could do so much more when I accidently utilized it since the star practically tried killing me when severing its connection to the monster and establishing my own. However, I could not control the energy given to me at the time to study it and utilize it."
  89.
  90.
  91. He opens his eyes now looking towards Mistletoe once more. "This is where you come in. I'm going to try and utilize the star to replicate its ability in a controlled manner and I need you to watch over me. In the event it seems like something bad is happening or if I blow out my mana circuits again I'll need your assistance. What better place to be than a hospital yes?"
  92. (Genrira)
  93. August 22 1:32 AM
  94. "'Fer me? I prefer chains."
  95.
  96.
  97. The Adjudicator's teachings came to him quietly. The demonstration so recently on commanding the Spirits, controlling them, and making them bend to one's command.
  98.
  99. .. It was a bit unsettling how relevant taming the ether would become. Yet, it was a bold thing to ask of Mistletoe. To put that much faith in someone to simply watch and peruse the mana circuits, especially when assuming complete diligence and control over the body's functions-- It was no easy task whatsoever.
  100.
  101. Truthfully, there was the shy thought in his head that the process would go smoothly. Mistletoe still felt unconfident about his abilities to watch and tame the ethereal, and to hold a strong connection during astral projection. But of course-- He managed to escape the Void's grasps during his projection, even if it were by just the mere skin of his teeth.
  102.
  103. A fist would ball quietly, and the slowly relax. Mistletoe nods, accepting the request.
  104. . . .
  105. ".. Explain the process you wish to under-go here.
  106. I may be able to assist in my own way, ..
  107. .. But for the most part, I will supervise this.
  108. I am equipped for this ..
  109. .. Surprising to myself, in some way ..
  110. .. More than others .."
  111.
  112.
  113.
  114.
  115. (Mistletoe)
  116. August 22, 2019 1:37 AM
  117.
  118. Genrira takes a seat and crosses his legs. He closes his eyes speaking slowly. "The process is simple. I'm going to enter a state of meditation and then channel the star I originally connected to. After doing this I will use the star I took from the undead monster and use the excess energy to try and push myself into that state."
  119.
  120. However, a frown comes across his face. The shift in facial expression remained. There was a saying and that was there's no free lunch in the world. This also applied to the situation. "Of course, there's a minor problem as always. Two problems actually."
  121.
  122. At this point the Kindling started to resonate with his occult madness. He could hear the creature's voice in his head along with many other voices from his normal hallucinations. He held his head looking to the ground aiming to resist what was going on and try to stay focus.
  123.
  124. "Do you think you can ever get rid of me? Do you think I'll ever let you off after you made your connection to my star? Foolish boy I will kill you soon enough and if I can't I will give you hell for the rest of your life."
  125.
  126. Genrira was able to maintain rationality this time. He heard the voices, but they did not say anything that made him disconnect from reality. However, Mistletoe might be able to sense the spirit the voices were just an illusion in Genrira's mind. Regardless he spoke to clarify.
  127.
  128. "For starters this damn spirit in me from the second circuit injury I received. It won't stop fucking with me and wants to drive me the fuck insane." his tone turned irritable at this, however, the second part was something Genrira couldn't do anything about for at least the moment.
  129.
  130. "The second thing is the permanent injury in my arm. Seishi's plasma fucked with the circuits there so it's much harder to use those circuits which I'll need for this stunt in the first place. Once I have enough star energy over charging me I'll try leaking it out slowly to form the wings."
  131.
  132.
  133.
  134. (Genrira)
  135. August 22, 2019 1:48 AM
  136. Mistletoe's eyes begin to squint, feeling the secondary presence radiate some form of energy.
  137. . . .
  138. ".. Oh, this nonsense--
  139. .. Particularly why I considered myself--
  140. .. 'Blessed,' in a sense ..
  141. That my mind and my body remain my own--
  142. Not lost to some paradigm ..
  143. .. Or even some poltergeist .."
  144.
  145.
  146. Mistletoe rolls up his sleeve and begins walking to Genrira. He had a few concerns to express.
  147. . . .
  148. ".. Be smart about this--
  149. For it is when I exercised my ability, ..
  150. .. Connecting to the Stars--
  151. Nay, the Lifestream itself-
  152. .. I for a second, ..
  153. .. Lost myself to the Void."
  154.
  155.
  156. The visions of the Plaguebeast were faint. The thinning of its residual corruption was in the midst of completely dissipating from Mistletoe, yet the resonating energy of the 'Unknown' still bellowed within him. There was perhaps something worse than the inevitable corruption of living creatures to the spirits and voices that beckoned from the Void-- And it was perhaps trauma.
  157.
  158. Even just mentioning that of the Void, a light paranoia would set in-- A feeling of impending darkness and suffocation, one's throat wrapped in that of thorns; Sap dripping down the esophagus, twisting the vessel and corrupting the Spirit. The crushing aurora that held one in place, frozen in time--
  159.
  160. We call that 'fear'.
  161. And it is that 'fear' that perpetuates the Void. Spirits of the Damned, far too wicked for that of Hellheim would wash away to the darkest Star-- If one would even theorize it as such.
  162.
  163. And they would watch. Entertainment unfolds.
  164. . . .
  165. ".. Do not doubt the Spirit--
  166. And do not dabble in what appears theoretical.
  167. .. Exercise only upon consensus--
  168. Facts. Validity.
  169. There will be no false steps in this clinic .."
  170.
  171.
  172. Mistletoe takes a shy glance to his satchel. Camille's bow lies within.
  173. . . .
  174. ".. Not this time."
  175.
  176.
  177. Mistletoe walks to the wall behind Genrira. Mistletoe places a paper talisman upon the wall and begins channeling his Mana within it.
  178.
  179. As he turns to Genrira, his eyes looked drained, signed of fatigue even if it were just one talisman. The male's stamina must've been lacking from the beginning ..
  180. . . .
  181. ".. When one projects themselves through--
  182. .. An Astral Meditation of sorts, ..
  183. .. A free-floating vessel, A spirit ..
  184. .. It is allowed to roam as free as can be--
  185. And that is what perhaps makes it all that more enticing to capture ..
  186. .. 'Freedom'.
  187. Is it not the drive of most every living being?
  188. . . .
  189. .. This talisman will serve as a beacon should you or I--
  190. Find ourselves lost within the ethereal..
  191. Trace my signature, my Mana ..
  192. .. And you will find your own as well ..
  193.
  194.
  195. Mistletoe looks ready to begin. He looks to Genrira for direction.
  196.
  197. (Mistletoe)
  198. August 22, 2019 2:35 AM
  199.
  200. Genrira chuckled a Mistletoe's morbid joke yet he took his words seriously as well. He knew damn well how risky this was and how careful they had to be. His words to Elma went through his head. One misstep can lead them spiraling down a path of no return and this star although was one he had connected to he had no experience in using.
  201.
  202. The man no longer wish to hold himself back anymore. He had remained stagnant in favor of being careful yet no longer wish to do so. If he wanted to accomplish his goals he had to continue to walk forward step by step.
  203.
  204. "The horrors of the void... I can only imagine what you went through to even come in contact with something of that nature."
  205.
  206. Once the talisman was placed on the wall Genrira felt a form of reassurance. Him and Mistletoe had a similar mind set. Hope for the best and prepare for the worse. The talisman was their extra form of protection.
  207.
  208. "Fact and validity no false steps in the clinic." Those words were repeated by Genrira more than a few times. With his eyes closed once more and his breathing regulated he started out by clearing his mind. A troubled one was one that lead to the road of disaster after all.
  209.
  210. Genrira emptied his mind of all thoughts that seemed false. The hallucinations were fading temporary and the Kindling spirit seemed in active, however, Genrira knew that it had other thoughts. Once his hallucinations left him Genrira spoke to Mistletoe.
  211.
  212. "Unlike before when I had a piece of its flesh I was able to connect to the star directly as the flesh acted as a beacon resonating its power to me. However, that piece of flesh lost all its power when I formed my own connection. So now I must make contact with the star directly.
  213.
  214. So with that being said when I do have to swim through the ethereal which might be even more dangerous. If the spirit acts up too badly then I'm pulling out or if the energy it gives off is too much then I'll have no choice unless I feel like ripping myself apart. Now are you sure you're ready?
  215.
  216. Although his eyes were close the expression on his face was extremely decisive. He had made the decision and there was no changing his mind right now. To him he was at his best right now. He was ready to make personal contact with the stars and absorb the two different energies at once. He just wanted one final confirmation from Mistletoe like Mistletoe received from Genrira.
  217.
  218.
  219. (Genrira)
  220. August 22, 2019 2:43 AM
  221.
  222. ".. As it must be, should you see it fit .."
  223.
  224.
  225. Mistletoe closes his eyes, bringing a hand approaching Genrira's back.
  226.
  227. There was a sudden pullback from Mistletoe, before making contact. For a second, Mistletoe sensed and felt a multitude of negative energies, hostility, and remnants of corruption resonate from Genrira's body. The Occultic madness fading briefly for a short moment as he concentrated upon his meditation.
  228.
  229. Mistletoe looked back at Genrira's still body and quietly thought to himself, a quiet look of dismay.
  230. . . .
  231. .. Learn to suppress these manifestations ..
  232. You'll find a myriad of possibilities once a clean mind is obtained ..
  233. .. Also, ..
  234. .. It just makes my job easier ..
  235.
  236.
  237. Mistletoe makes contact with Genrira. There is a silence between the two as the meditation begins. Mistletoe acted cautiously, containing his own energy to himself, and separating Genrira's from his own.
  238.
  239. A delicate procedure, the two needed to remain separate to prevent any accidents in this extraordinarily vulnerable state. Though the Soul itself had its own natural protection against foreign bodies, it was never a bad idea to exercise caution and diligence, right?
  240.
  241. Mistletoe's form manifests oddly. He holds shape for one moment when in focus, and then denies a corporeal body in the next. It may even come to Genrira that Mistletoe shares the same insubstantial formations as one of his hallucinations.
  242. . . .
  243. ".. Awaken. We are here."
  244.
  245.
  246. An extremely misty world would be known to them. Hazed figures and depictions of unknown origin-- A quiet serene occasionally teeming with that of the surreal. This was not the Spirit World, but merely, the world around them.
  247.
  248. Mistletoe heard the Wild-Card Adjudicator's voice speak with him in the moment, leading Genrira, as Sors had done in that of Necromancy. The concept was the same, To make contact with that of the Spirit.
  249. . . .
  250. ".. Picture the Stars of its Origin ..
  251. .. What did that energy feel like?
  252. .. Lead us to it .."
  253.
  254.
  255. The misty plane they felt would quiet for a moment. Mistletoe's own presence quietly faded, though not absent. He seems to have quieted his own energies to allow Genrira's to pass freely.
  256.
  257. It was time to observe.
  258. (Mistletoe)
  259. August 22, 2019 3:12
  260.
  261.
  262. Genrira's form manifested in a more normal state than Mistletoe's form. He had noticed how Mistletoe's form had an odd manifestation and thought to question him about it, however, he decided against it. Sors was the better person to question when it came to things of this nature. At least in his mind for a more in-depth analysis.
  263.
  264. For now he began his task. There was no way he did not remember the star. All it took was to sense it out. However. there were trillions of stars in the sky. To find one was a difficult job that was going to take Genrira a while to pull off.
  265.
  266. From there Genrira starts to focus on the connection of the star he had left. He focusses on finding his energy in a foreign area in the starry sky. Just like Mistletoe utilized his talisman as a beacon back to their bodies in the event something went wrong, Genrira uses the connection he made with it before hand with Kindling's flesh to find it as well.
  267.
  268. <font color#e3a72e> "The star is violent and dark in nature. We're looking for a star that's bathed in ill intent. The intent to destroy an enemy and express its dominance over others." </font>
  269.
  270. After some time Genrira had found the direction of the star was in and his projection takes off. He expected Mistletoe to follow behind in his projection form. Genrira was not leading him to a red star despite how he described the star. It was just a star that was more violent than usual.
  271.
  272. The energy it gave off was the same as the Kindling spirit. All to be suspected considering that it was the star that he utilized. Upon getting there Genrira speaks out.
  273.
  274. <font color#e3a72e> "From here on out is where it's going to get dangerous. I will now begin absorbing its power for the second time in my life." This was Mistletoe's warning. After all, not only did they have to worry about the Kindling spirit, but if Genrira's body could handle the stress as well.
  275.
  276. (Genrira)
  277. August 22, 2019 3:24 AM
  278. ".. Do as you may, but do not over-exert yourself."
  279.
  280.
  281. Mistletoe's mind continued to remain blank, his form becoming more solid as he would feel the close connections to the Stars. This was not his first time projecting, and he had learned his mistakes violently from that of before.
  282.
  283. His absolutely reckless behavior, far worse and more destructive than any novice ever should. No, this time, he understood the movements, little-by-little.
  284.
  285. It was unsettling of course. Can one truly wander the Stars and not feel the oppressive force of the Arcana? Can one truly wander the Stars and not hear the callings of the Void? And can one expect to wander without feeling even a hint of the Lifestream's presence?
  286.
  287. They would all meld together, three distinct landmarks in that vast eternal. The more one would meditate upon one of these distinctions, the closer they would feel their spirit drift towards it.
  288.
  289. A clear mind was essential for this kind of procedure.
  290.
  291. Mistletoe's physical body relaxes greatly. He learned his mistake.
  292.
  293. Looking down before them, one would see the vastness of Eternia, the world before them. Mistletoe stares at Eternia blankly, feeling the presence of the Talisman as a marker.
  294.
  295. This marker as well needed to exist and resonate alongside the vastness of this great body.
  296. . . .
  297. ".. If you are to loose focus--
  298. Your body may convulse, your spirit-- abducted.
  299. You will be given /ONE/ chance.
  300. .. When you enter the Star--
  301. The Star will enter you.
  302. .. When you exercise your dominance over the Star--
  303. The Star will retort back, and challenge you ..."
  304.
  305.
  306. Mistletoe's gaze falls short. Scouting the vast expanses of the blackenedbody of the Ethereal, he sees manifestations of the Lifestream. It flows, bright, energy fluxiating, as the billions of Souls residing in it creep from that of the Stars. Spirits, finding themselves in, Essences, Wisps, all entering at once, and with the occasional departure of those that chose to exit out.
  307.
  308. He remembers the damage he did to the Lifestream. He turns his gaze back towards Genrira. The remorse he should feel was absent. It was there to serve, and serve it did.
  309.
  310. He would ensure the message comes clear to Genrira.
  311. . . .
  312. ".. Know that when you take the Star--
  313. .. It will attempt to take you.
  314. How sad, that it does not KNOW it's place.
  315. That you must discipline the Star, and show it--
  316. . . That you WILL take its power.
  317. Do /NOT/ fail me, Genrira.."
  318.
  319.
  320. A pause is given.
  321. . . .
  322. "Begin."
  323.
  324.
  325. (Mistletoe)
  326. August 22, 2019 3:46 AM
  327. -Begin-
  328.
  329. The word signals the beginning of another life or death struggle. Genrira went forward forging his own path towards the star. While he was going forward he felt out the lingering energy of the star. Genrira started with the basics of cosmic magic. The first spell learned by cosmic magi being invigorate!
  330.
  331. The lingering star energy started being absorbed into Genrira's main body flowing into his mana circuits. While this was happening Genrira's mind started flashing back. Kuja's voice was heard in his head. The first person who told Genrira that he should find a unique path to follow and brought up his cosmic magic when mentioning this.
  332.
  333. <font color#8966bc> " Think outside the box by using the knowledge gained inside the box as the foundation for forging your own path."
  334.
  335. Genrira was in the process of taking his advice now. The use of invigorate when it came to this lingering star energy was to introduce his circuits to the star energy and allow them to get use to the energy and for his body to prepare for what was coming next.
  336.
  337. Once a good amount of star energy was absorbed it was time to make the star his own. Genrira utilizes his mana to finish establishing a connection to it to take the star for his own. Just like Mistletoe said the star reacted violently once more.
  338.
  339. This time Genrira was mentally prepared! After experiencing the power of the star beforehand he knew full well what it was going to try to do. Flood his mana circuits and rip him from the inside out. Yet this time Genrira had a strategy for it and that was his left arm!
  340.
  341. Thanks to the plasma interfering with his mana circuits he knew how much energy it took to utilize spells when concerning the circuits in that arm. Utilizing his permanent injury as a blessing he sent a lot of the excess energy to those mana circuits in his left arm.
  342.
  343. This reduced the stress on his good mana circuits throughout his body. It also prevented the star energy from minorly leaking out into his organs to cause damage to them. This brings Genrira more time to complete his objective, of course there was another problem with this. That was the Kindling spirit wasn't going to let things go his way!
  344.
  345. Genrira started to have hallucinations and extremely intense ones. Genrira starts seeing images of the people closest to him die. The Kindling resonating with his occult madness amplifying the effects of the latter. He could hear the voices in his head once more.
  346.
  347. <font color#fbf9fe> "You're weak...you've always been weak. Did you think you would have a good ending? Did you think you could break free from your mortality? Did you think you could wonder the world free without worrying about someone planning to take your life? This is your fate! This is the fate of everyone who gets close to you.
  348.
  349. How does it feel knowing that the more friends you make the more people you'll drag down. Give up and do the merciful thing for them all. Give up and die!" </font.>
  350.
  351. Genrira started to pant hard. His psyche was shaken up by that attack. That was one of the things that could get to him. He wasn't a white knight for sure, but his reason for enjoying being here in Briar Locke was because he felt accepted here.
  352.
  353. The attack had caused the star energy to go out of control. Genrira remember what happen last time and with him in such a valuable state he did not want to end up exploding from the inside out. Mistletoe's words ring in his ears once more.
  354.
  355. "Facts. Validity" He hadn't seen any one of his friends here die yet nor have they rejected him here. When thinking of that although the Kindling spirit was still edging him to die using his will power he turned it out. He ignored the things he was seeing and didn't disconnect from reality falling victim to psychosis.
  356.
  357. With his mind focused once more he regulates the star energy being absorbed. The connection continued to be made. Genrira's body was shaking from how much energy was being sent from the stars. His pours open and the man begins to sweat.
  358.
  359. A bit of the star's energy started to be directed to his back now. The open pours allowed the mana to escape. He didn't form the wings like before however as not as much energy had escaped. There were indeed signs of them inching closer and closer to forming by the way.
  360.
  361. Genrira finally finish making the connection. The star was completely his now. He could harness its energy, its strength, and utilize it to his own will. Was master the ability over all.
  362.
  363.
  364. (Genrira)
  365. August 22, 2019 4:51 AM
  366. From the outside, there wasn't much to see.
  367.
  368. He watched as Genrira's Spirit would trail into the Star, engulfed by its color.
  369.
  370. Then, it began.
  371.
  372. A battle, raging within. The flames and fires of the Stars forged in the Cosmos, those same flames would bathe the Cosmic Magi. Streaks of color would flare, indistinguishable to Mistletoe at the grand scale of one consuming that of a Celestial object. The bathing of one's essence in that of a Star, even if it seemed to be the Star of a foreign body--
  373.
  374. This too would constitute as a form of rebirth. It is said in Death, the Spirit in its passing wanders back home to its origin, its maker. The Star it would come from would return once more, and burn the Hellish, or even Holy energies away-- Cleansing the spirit, and becoming a true blank slate once more. An empty canvas for one's resurrection. Their reincarnation into a new world.
  375.
  376. The Soul has lived a thousand lives, and has a thousand more to live. Each of them, a fragment, all having made up different beings, creatures, legends, and figures. We are unaware of where the Lifestream takes us, but we are certain it has always remained a part of us.
  377.
  378. The Celestial body would expand and retract, its flames and solace converging into one Nexus. The instability of the outer core was present, sparks and embers shot out-- Supernovas and beams of energy and light, viciously spitting out in reject of Genrira.
  379.
  380. The Star would fight, and the Magi would fight harder-- A flash of plasma leaving the Celestial mirror, followed by signs of Corruption, Occultic energies being freed, messily expelled into the Cosmos.
  381.
  382. Energies, all converging, all mending into one. The golden aurora of Cosmic would seem to be the most dominant. And such is the cycle of life and Death, through the fire and the flames, shooting out jets of energy from his back, even if it were for a small moment-- The scenery was reminiscent of a Phoenix. Golden manifestations of mana that would appear upon the Ethereal's body.
  383.
  384. There was rebirth.
  385.
  386. It was concerning from the outside-- Not knowing the intricacies of a Cosmic Magi's devotion, or the processes that occurred within that of the Star Genrira chose. His energy signature would dissipate, and reappear, occasional 'blimps' in the spiritual plane.
  387.
  388. When there remain little residual energy left, Mistletoe acted. The image of Eternia from underneath would sprawl a double helix, a bright red image spiraling towards Mistletoe from underneath.
  389.
  390. Wisps of red fiber would crawl upon him, a manifestation of his in the great body of the Cosmos. It was as the Ultovex had spoken to him, it was the manifestation of one's will-- If it were the brutish force and content hatred that allowed him to manifest chains and shackles, ..
  391.
  392. .. It would be the light webbings of seclusion and finesse that would grace Mistletoe, his own energy calling back to him from the Talisman.
  393.
  394. Feeling his figure wrapped in that of the thin fibers, Mistletoe would aim his arm out at Genrira's essence, envisioning the tangled webbing crawl upon that of the Magi. It was no different than fishing a Bird's Soul out of the lifestream-- However without the incidents of disaster this time.
  395.
  396. The essence felt different, born again, and rejuvenated. Almost empowering to hold for a minute. The fibers would wrap ever so gingerly around his figure and pull him in, slowly drifting with the Stars.
  397.
  398. He would be pulled back down to Eternia, color slowly returning, and before long, the same mist as before would begin to reappear, signaling that they were returning to the densely spiritual continent of Agartha.
  399.
  400. The radiance of Magic and the Lifestream would guide them to their bodies, along with the signature given off from the Talisman from before, a beacon of sorts that servedits purpose.
  401.
  402. Webbing Genrira back into his corporeal body, the fibers would disintegrate quietly. Their forms would violently disrupt, and bleed into the air, mere scatters of red ash that floated aimlessly.
  403.
  404. When the surrealism would cease, color would return.
  405.
  406. They were back in the Clinic. Their bodies unharmed during the egregiously long process.
  407.
  408. For Genrira, perhaps he strengthened his connection with the Star he wanted. His spirit felt unfamiliar, and his essence felt more washed after having bathed in a Star's radiance.
  409.
  410. And for Mistletoe, his confidence in the realm of the Cosmos improved, and so did his ability to sense souls. Though this would only serve for malcontent purposes-- The knowledge was making itself clear.
  411.
  412. And how easily abusive it was.
  413.
  414. Genrira would feel a deep rejuvenating feeling as his eyes were shut and he remained in his physical body. Mistletoe was exhaustively circulating Mana through his body, fatigue becoming ever present in his eyes.
  415. ". . Awaken . . "
  416.
  417. (Mistletoe)
  418. August 22, 2019 5:12 AM
  419.
  420.
  421. Genrira closes his eyes and starts flowing his mana. One could tell his energy seemed a bit different than usual. The star he used before could be called gentle while this star had a violent nature. The man begins to breath out and his aura surrounded him. Of course, this was just the beginning.
  422.
  423. "Think outside the box by using what's in the box as a foundation." Those words Genrira said out loud and if Holz was there those were the very same words Kuja recited to him when explaining that there was a method to increase the potent of his cosmic magic years ago. Thus even if he was filled with energy Genrira started to use the spell invigorate channeling even more mana into his circuits.
  424.
  425. A second time a third time the same spell was cast until the star he connected with poured an extreme amount of energy into Genrira. This was a dangerous method and even if Holz couldn't sense it one could tell. Genrira's face was twisted showing how much pain he was in, yet this amount was one he could bare.
  426.
  427. His circuits continue to flood, and his pours begin to open. Genrira had not mastered this state yet but he had practice and seen it. Just like the Kindling spirit something unusual happen. The excess cosmic magic started flowing out the pours of his back. "Not yet...." he says while struggling to form the state completely. He continues to recklessly receive the star energy in his body using the wound Seishi had given him which interfered with his ability to channel mana in his arm as a crutch. Whenever he had a hard time withstanding the ability he flowed more mana into that arm letting the plasma in his arm disturb the flow over all giving relief to the other parts of his body.
  428.
  429. However, this was just remnants of a strike that occurred years ago. It could only interfere with the circuits so much. Once that was at its limits Genrira flooded the excess mana in his arm to his back releasing it. For an instant he formed the wings once more. He did so without fucking his circuits up to hell and back.
  430.
  431. This ability was the same one the Kindling utilized. It looks the same just Genrira wasn't a massive monster like the Kindling was so his back and wings were smaller. Due to the excess energy release behind him the wind picked up but Holz wouldn't be able to feel it. This was a short-lived performance sadly. The man lasted a good five seconds before it ended with him breathing out softly.
  432.
  433. The man panted, the ability was quite an ordeal to use at the moment. They say practice makes perfect, so he needed to keep practicing. "I've been trying to be able to utilize this as second nature but as you see it...fucking...hurts!"
  434. (Genrira)
  435. August 23, 2019 7:59 PM
  436. Young Holz entered Genrira's abode, they had made a stop here simply because he was invited. The man didn't know what to expect, a laboratory hidden beneath the earth? Or something greater than that? No, what came now was an experience he'd never even consider. Genrira, as determined as ever to increase their power did something almost unthinkable. Holz didn't have the 'how' or the 'what'.. But what was displayed before his very eyes brought abject befuddlement to his face. This was a momentous achievement.
  437.
  438. The strain placed upon one's body as they tried, tried and tried to attain some level of power that would most likely end in one's death was... Inspiring to a degree, The Feleran couldn't believe that Genrira was insane enough to even consider this idea worth attempting. The Kindling was one of the greater enemies Holz had fought in his adventures, nearly wiping out the mass of the Militia's magi forces in one fell swoop. Was this the result of years of research? A lifetime's worth of dedication for a cause? The man bit his lip as it all ended, the wings small... Almost as if they were torn from a bird.
  439.
  440. He paused as the wings returned, finally. The lumberjack broke his silence. "Amazing. However, I don't understand... Why? What use, what benefit is it to have such a thing by your side?" He was impressed but, he didn't uinderstand… Could the Kindling's power really be something worth dying over?
  441. (Holz Lendora)
  442. August 23, 2019 8:05 PM
  443.
  444. Genrira started to regain his composure after a few seconds. The massive strain on his circuits was something he was not use to just yet. Even so he could speak. "The augmented power was something that nearly wiped us out in the past and that was just someone's experiment. We struggled against what could be classified as an experiment and discarded. In order to achieve my goals to break the chains of my mortality and achieve to become something greater this is only a start. A first step."
  445.
  446. Was the man mad? He could be considered a mad scumbag holding on to a little bit of honor left that made him human. "To achieve complete freedom and move about the world unhindered. To be able to go places without worrying about people daring on my life. To be able to live without worrying if my family will be plotted against and ruthlessly kill those who dare plot against the people I care for. This is the benefit of having this thing by my side."
  447.
  448. Of course the Kindling was not happy at all at Genrira's achievements. It had been trying to hinder him yet like the mad man Genrira really was he chose to live with the thing in his mind.
  449. (Genrira)
  450. August 23, 2019 8:37 PM
  451. He folded his arms, looking at Genrira as he spoke of power with allure that all Holz wanted to do with listen for more. Holz stared at Genrira, awaiting for more. And yet, nothing else erupted from the ambitious alchemist. The Lendora never considered Genrira to have such a dream in his mind but all made sense now. It seemed that Briar brought a lot of likeminded individuals together, he was glad he was invited into their ranks. The lumberjack grinned as he responded,
  452.
  453. "I see, I see. I'm glad that we've met, Genrira. I'm sure you've already spoken with Mistletoe about... All of this, and I understand it completely. If you'd let me. I'd love to help you in your endeavors. Risks must be taken... Maybe one day, we can become alike Isaac... Greater even. Don't you agree?" He stopped, closing his eyes for a moment. He really did like that idea, he was sure of it.
  454.
  455. "All my life, I've considered myself one of Azrael's favorites. Until my goals are complete, I don't plan on visiting the dark lord."
  456. (Holz Lendora)
  457.
  458. August 23, 2019 8:42 PM
  459. ________________________________________
  460. Genrira asks, "I agree...we can become greater than him if we work hard enough. One misstep can get us killed yes....but when you think about it people like Sors, Issac,Ashalle, they started out just like us right? They must have danced on the edge of a knife that could sink into their throats and overcame it to get where they are now. So why can't we?"
