  1. Essay 2
  2. By Mitchell Scheetz
  3. Period 6
  4. Trees are a very important part of our daily lives, and it would be very hard to live without them. If we loose too much of our trees, life would be much harder. First off, trees provide homes for animals. Trees also provide us with wood, which helps us with lots of things we use in our daily lives like houses, tables, and chairs. Last, trees provide us oxygen, and we need oxygen to live.
  5.
  6. Trees provide homes for animals. Homes for animals are just as important as our homes to them. If we run out of trees, animals who originally had their home in a tree would have no place to live. Next, animals need homes… just like us. It is just like someone taking our house down, and we would not like that. Trees provide homes for animals, and just like they provide homes for animals, they also provide homes for us too.
  7.
  8. Trees provide wood. If we ran out of trees, we would run out of wood, and therefore we would possibly run out of many things we use everyday! First, we use wood for our homes. Wood takes a very important part in making our homes. If you have ever seen a home that is in development stages, you can see that the whole house is originally made out of wood. The stairs, and most likely walls and floors of your house are made out of wood. Next, wood makes many objects we use. Lots of items we use everyday are made out of wood. For example, lots of tables are made out of wood, same with chairs. The doors we use are made out of wood too. Last, wood helps with fires. If you are out camping and you want to cook something, you would probably have a campfire. When you have a campfire you are usually using firewood, which is a type of wood. Firewood helps us make fires, and we use firewood in lots of times.
  9.
  10. Last, we use trees for oxygen. Honestly, we would not be living if it were not for trees. A full-grown tree will produce as much oxygen in a season as about 10 people inhale per year. Just about one tree produces almost 260 pounds of oxygen per year. That’s a lot of oxygen, and our human body needs oxygen everyday. Oxygen helps us breath, and if we couldn’t breathe we wouldn’t be able to live.
