PERSONALITY:
• danbi is quite the complex girl. she used to be a real sweetheart, devoted to her close ones and her passions such as music, but a few events (such as her boyfriend cheating, being kicked out of sm and betrayed) caused her personality to take a massive hit.
now she might be perceived as rude and grumpy, as she's quite blunt and doesn't really initiate conversation with anyone, plus she isn't big on skinship. she also looks intimidating, which may make her seem unapproachable.
she's greedy but in an ambitious way, as in she wants to improve herself and aim for bigger things, her determination and perseverance also contribute to this.
she's bold and isn't afraid to sacrifice certain things to achieve what she wants. she can be quite bossy too, as she's a bit of control freak (plus she can't stand messes and always nags whoever makes messes near her).

BACKGROUND:
• danbi was born and raised in gwangju, south korea, and after 4 years she had two younger sisters.
from a young age, danbi grew an interest in music and developed a particular interest for rap and dance in her teen years. she was an above average student so her mother wanted her to continue her studies instead of pursuing music, but her father wanted her to do something she liked so he backed her up and in the end they convinced her mom to let her audition for sm.
she's very close to both her sisters, and they also support her dream, despite not being interested in the music industry themselves.
she had a boyfriend in highschool but he cheated on her and when she found out she broke up with him, which was the start of her trust issues and when she started to close herself off to others.
being kicked out of sm was truthfully the last drop, as it was then she decided from then on she would only focus on her career and not care about friendships or relationships.

• as always, danbi is pretty quiet, unless talked to. if the fans request something of her or ask her any questions, she'll do it with no problems, unless it involves skinship with the other members. on rare occasions she'll be the first to initiate broadcasts.

FIRST MEETING: they first met when she became a trainee in YGEnt, as he was also just a trainee at that point. she didn't pay much attention to him but he had a thing for her since day one.

HOW DO THEY ACT AROUND LOVE INTEREST:
in the beginning, danbi didn't really care how he perceived her or how she acted around him, she'd often just roll her eyes at him or ignore him.
as time progressed she grew more aware of how she treated him, and began "softening", stopping the eye rolls and giving him actual reactions instead of just ignoring him. sometimes she's even the one initiating conversation, or simply dropping him a compliment on his rap for example.

[PART SEVEN ㅡ CALM DOWN]

EXTRA: I didn't want to add this to the trivia as it already has quite a few things: the "unknown reason" she was kicked out of sm is actually that one of her trainee friends was dating a staff but danbi pretended it was her so her friend wouldn't be kicked out, that same "friend" ended up completely turning her back on danbi and never speaking to her again, which just contributed to her trust issues and closed off personality. the "friend" also started rumours that danbi smoked and drank alcohol often.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE ACCEPTED: well first of all, this fic seems pretty lit and I'm sort of a yg stan so this is right up my alley ahaha. plus I hadn't applied for any applyfics in a while so this was good to get my creative juices flowing again lmao, I poured my heart and soul into creating danbi. but worry not, I won't be salty or anything if I don't get accepted, not everyone can get in and I know it.
