I am a fun nut case with some serious perfection mind. Means i expect fun but i also expect it to go by the book.
I am a developer of forums, i mod and managed and ran my own forums, like phpbb mybb ipboard and so on.
Not sure about  8 hrs but i am mostly around
I dunno what time but i would be answering as much as i could when around.
Moderation is like filteration. To check if its by the book if not take action and fix it. If you cant fix it than by the book send request to a higher up.
I would explain the reason + rule broken and if still any complains are there they should report me to the management and they will decide if the decision taken is right or wrong.
