First thing to do is transfer the gmail account to your control, including the recovery email and phone number You may need poncho to help you with that
With that account you can recover everything
After that, just start changing passwords

Yeah, well the .edu account is his and there's nothing I can do about it. The shadownetwork gmail account was the one used for 2016 not 2017.
