Art Marketplace
The proposed project is an online marketplace platform for artists to sell their work. On this website, we want the artists to be able to sell and ship their art pieces, as well as maintaining an online profile where they can display their inventory with pictures. The buyers would typically be looking for items to decorate their homes with, such as paintings and sculptures. Amateur artists that are trying to sell their work have a difficult time connecting to potential buyers. We are trying to create a dedicated platform where we make this interaction simple, and we would take care of the shipping.
The expected users of this software are artists with pieces of work ready to sell, and customers that are looking for affordable ways to decorate their home with fine art. These users would communicate with each other and add items to their shopping cart to easily purchase art pieces online.


Charity Tracker
The proposed project is a website to help charities provide more transparency to the donors to ensure they know how the money they donated is being spent. Donors would donate directly to the website, aimed at whichever charity they choose. What would make this platform unique is that the donors would be able to directly see the items that are being purchased, such as towels, that are going to the needy.
After talking with several charity organizations, we found that charities often buy their supply from vendors like Amazon, where the items are not the cheapest. We have already connected with other vendors that would sell this items for much cheaper than how much charities are paying for them now. Our aim is to connect these supply vendors and the charity organizations directly to the donors through this website.
The expected users of the site are the donors that want to donate to charity. The donors would go to our website, pick a charity organization, pick the kind of supplies they want bought with their donation, and be regularly updated on the status of the shipments. With this website, we want to provide the users the feeling of assurance when they use their money, it is indeed going to a good cause.
