- Playful: Min Sun tries to come up with stuff to make others around her happy. She tries to make anything exciting for everyone and tries to bring up someone’s mood. Even with the people that calls her names, Min Sun doesn’t treat them differently than the others. She’s like the life of a party.

- Funny: Min Sun is described as the school’s clown. Her reputation around campus is being a comedian by cracking up some jokes or just acting stupid for fun. Min Sun loves to make others laugh and make their day. She has very great sense of humor and knows she’s a goofball herself.

- Gullible: Min Sun is still an innocent little child that’s still trying to get through life. Telling her stuff that aren’t true will be very bad since she can believe anything you say. Students think of this as funny and an advantage to get to her. From time to time Min Sun kinda gets a little hurt but just laughs along with the others as one of her stupid acts.

- Sensitive: Name calling doesn’t go well with Min Sun. She doesn’t take criticism very well either. She’s still a fragile flower so name calling is like someone just stepped on her. Since her unguarded personality gets the best of her, things others say about her can affect her greatly. An example is telling her she’s “ugly.” Min Sun will easily believe that and does whatever she could to stop that.

- Clumsy: Try not to leave her alone too long cause this girl can wonder around then later realizing she’s lost. She tries to find her way but ends up failing most of the time and has to ask random strangers for help. Of course she’s not dumb enough to get lost in her own house. Min Sun can also trip like anywhere, especially on flat surface without having laces to trip on. She can also bump into people for not watching where’s she’s going.

Min Sun was born in Shanghai, China with two busy parents and a older brother who she loves dearly. When growing up it was a bit hard with parents who isn’t around much. Her parents are full-time attorneys so spending quality time with their children aren’t on their minds other than their job. But even when her parents aren’t around, Min Sun wasn’t always alone. Min Sun had her older brother who she loves more than anything in the world.

Min Sun has a older brother named “Lian Ying” or Lian for short. Lian was like Min Sun’s guardian when her parents were away. She loves spending time with Lian and he felt the same. Lian was a big influence on Min Sun since that was where she got her quirkiness from and he taught her to be herself. Lian also taught Min Sun some Korean since he wanted to share some language knowledge to his sister. But all of that went away when Min Sun turned 14. Lian went to America for college. Ever since then, Min Sun would either get babysitters or have her own parents to watch over her. Min Sun dislikes both of the options because they weren’t her brother but she would rather have the babysitters watch over her than her own parents. The babysitters were boring most of the time because they were always on their phones and never paid attention to Min Sun at all. Although they never spent time with Min Sun they still did their job as a babysitter and took care of her.

Her parents rarely has days off and when they do they still do their job. Other than days off the only time Min Sun could see her parents was late nights when they come home. Min Sun was a normal adventurous kid, playing around and enjoying the outdoors. When going outside for so long you’ll get dirty right? Well her parents never liked that. They tell her to go take a shower with other unnecessary things along with it like “filthy” or “dirty”. The sentence would go on like “go take a shower you filth.” Another example of name calling was about Min Sun’s clumsiness. She would either bumped into her parents/walls while running or knocking over/breaking things down. The normal names they would call her is stupid. Another one is where she would be too loud. The words annoying and irritating was always thrown at her. Her parents was never physically abusive but they were mentally. The name calling really impacted Min Sun a lot. The main reason why her parents were harsh on her was because of stress. Overtime she notices how tired and stressed her parents are. She understood so she still lived her life without bumping into her parents often.

A year later her family moved to South Korea because of her parents. Min Sun knew some Korean basics before coming to Korea but improved as she took some classes. Min Sun then continued her freshman year to a new school. As she went to a school things changed for Min Sun. At her old school, students wasn’t judgy much, well at least to Min Sun. Female students already envied Min Sun because of her natural beauty while the opposite-sex took an interest for her. When time went on the girls then told Min Sun a name she was never called before, Ugly. Min Sun being gullible she believed that. It really hurt her because she was never called that before, even her parents never told her that before. Then ‘ugly’ evolved to other names like annoying, dumb, stupid, cry-baby, etc. Min Sun was always herself, being her playful clumsy self but they still called her names for that. This went on until sophomore year came.

Min Sun had enough of the name calling so she thought make-up would do the trick. She was convinced she was ugly so she wanted to be like the others and become pretty. During the break she did all she could to satisfy herself by doing her own research on makeup and watching tutorials. As the new school year started the name calling ended. The girls stopped and actually complimented her for once. They thought she looked more ‘mature’ but they were just jealous of her natural baby face. From then on Min Sun continues on to wear makeup and being her playful and clumsy spirited self.

Jinyoung is that mysterious kid that sits at the back of the class not being bothered by anyone. That kid that students try to avoid and talk about. He’s not that kind of person that’ll easily open up to you. He’s a very closed and cold person. He doesn’t show much emotion to anyone and it’ll be rare to even see him smile or show any feelings. But once you get to his good side he shows more empathy and emotion towards you. He’s actually a very sweet and soft person on the inside and cares very deeply about the people that’s in his life. Jinyoung is also a very hardworking person that can sometimes make him do things that overwork himself up.

It’s the first day of Sophomore year, a new year, a new class. Min Sun kind of started the day off badly by getting to class late because she overslept and lost her way in school. During that process she tripped on some areas and bumped into walls. It was not a good morning for her. Everyone already picked their seats for class and the only seat that was available was by a particular boy that automatically caught her eye. As she made it to her seat other students were making comments which Min Sun didn’t care much. The boy showed a very cold expression and a resting b*tch face. That was pretty much the only emotion he could pull off.

Jinyoung has never seen her without makeup before. During freshman year he isn’t around much with students so he doesn’t even remember anyone or even know anyone. Even when Jinyoung and Min Sun were still in the same school last year Jinyoung wouldn’t remember and Min Sun wouldn’t even recognize him. Min Sun is pretty much the only person Jinyoung could be open with and with that Min Sun wants to be open too by showing him what she looks like without makeup in the future.

Jang Hyejin is a new student. Jinyoung never cared or bothered with him until he started to have an eye towards Min Sun. Females has started to show some affection to the new student but the new student only has an eye on Min Sun. Ever since, Hyejin tries to have Min Sun to himself but she would decline most of the time because she would have plans with Jinyoung instead. Hyejin wasn’t a fan of that so he grew hatred towards Jinyoung and Jinyoung’s feelings towards him were mutual.
