Hare Krsna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
We have heard from Prahladananda Swami that in fact, Giridhari das is not
a GBC member. Would you kindly send us an error correction on that point
we can publish. Preferably, tell us how the misconception came about (if
that's releveant). If it was simply an error on your part, just say that.

Here is what the article 'Who is Giridhari Das?' said on its first line:

"He is a member of GBC. To be more precise, he is GBC's zonal secretary in ISKCON Brazil ( he's
undergoing his trial period )."

Here is another snapshot from March 2015 in which he's listed as a zonal secretary. As next month is
March 2017, it's been almost two years since he was first listed on that page as a zonal secretary.

For the sake of clarity, here are some quotes from this page in which he's directly mentioned as zonal
secretary in trial:

First quote:

"O GBC do Brasil é Devamtra Swami, mas outros brasileiros trabalham na administração local, em
conjunto com o GBC, para garantir que as determinações e objetivos da ISKCON sejam implantados. O
Brasil agora tem quatro Secretários Zonais: Dhanvantari Swami e prabhus Hanuman Das, Yamunacarya
Das e Giridhari Das (este em experiência)."

Translation:

"The GBC for Brazil is Devamtra Swami (sic), but other Brazilians also work in local administration,
conjointly with the GBC, so as to guarantee that the determinations and the goals of ISKCON will be
implemented. Brazil now has four Zonal Secretaries: Dhanvantari Swami and prabhus Hanuman Das,
Yamunacarya Das and Giridhari Das ( who is undergoing his trial period )."

Second quote:

"Secretários Zonais
Dhanvantari Swami
Hanuman Das
Yamunacarya Das
Giridhari Das (em experiência)
secretarios.zonais@iskcon.com.br"

Translation:

"Zonal Secretaries
Dhanvantari Swami
Hanuman Das
Yamunacarya Das
Giridhari Das ( trial period )
secretarios.zonais@iskcon.com.br"

I guess this proves my point. Giridhari Das has been officially and publicly listed as a GBC zonal secretary
undergoing his trial period in an official website belonging to ISKCON Brazil.
