>”At ease you three, that will be all for today just remember in a week our 3 day camp-out for scouts will be starting”.

>This was going to be great

>Getting out of the car and slinging your backpack on you smiled at your friends pessimism

>Walking up next to you was your other friend Matt, a raccoon
>Putting a arm around each of their shoulders you smiled and pulled them close
>Looking out at the forest in front of you, you beamed

>Sighing you turned and got your own stuff out of Scout master Jacksons Van
>He was of course your Scout troop leader but also your Mentor
>You’ve been a scout for a long time and the best day ever was when you convinced your two friends to join you in it
>Wasn't so hard seeing as they were both outcasts, but maybe the scouts will build their confidence or something

>He was for also in for a pretty long time too

>You would almost consider her your rival if you really cared about the whole “competitive nature” of the scouts
>In reality you were just here to have fun
>Walking next to you Matt spoke
>”We really gotta spend the next 3 days with him?”

>Day 1
>After unloading all your gear you took in your surroundings
>There was a small cabin that you guys weren't going to using
>the kind of bathroom you see at beaches and other public parks
>And of course the lake

>Dropping your bags against a log next to the fire pit you got ready to set up your tents
“As you started you set up your tent you noticed Matt and Jake were just staring at you
“You guys aren't going to set up your tent”?

>”I thought you were bringing it”
>Facepalming and shaking your head you could hear a giggle
>”You two are completely USELESS! HAHA!”
>Getting a little angry at how he was mocking your friends you a stood up
>”I mean the tents already tiny enough, maybe you planned this so you could all snuggle up aha”
>God you hated him but he was right now
>The tent was going to be a tight fit

>Be Anon and you were currently laying in your tent
>Well it wasn't your tent exactly
>Shuffling behind you Alpha let out a loud sigh
>Scout master Jackson made him share the tent since there was only 2 and yours was too small for 3 people realistically
>In the end after much protest he said only if it was you
>You didn't know why but, when you asked he only looked away and mumbled something out about ,fur static and scent and then trailed of after that
>For a second you almost thought you saw a blush
>But with the fur there was no way to be certain
>It wasn't that tight of a fit but if you both slept on your back you'd be rubbing shoulders so you slept on your side back to back
>Maybe you should just ask why he picked you
“Hey Al-”

>Well that wasn't very nice
“I just want to know, why did you pick me?”
>After a loud sigh he spoke
>”Because you humies can't smell ok”

Day 2
>Be Anon walking through the woods with Alpha
>Your friends were pack at camp getting their fire making badges under the supervision of scoutmaster Jackson
>You would be with them but Alpha here insisted on trying to get his Geocaching badge
>And he couldn't do this alone soooo, yeah here you were with him
>All you had to do was follow the instructions on a GPS, locate the cache then return to camp
>Simple enough

>”These coordinated should have been right”
>Leaning against a tree you sighed
>You were lost
“We’re lost aren't we?”
>”Tch you might be but I'm never lost!”
>Yep ok you were both definitely lost
“Listen there’s always next time we could-”
>”No ANON! You want to go back to camp be my guest but i will be getting my badge”
>Immediately storming off you sighed

>A few hours had passed since you talk with Alpha and it was getting dark
>This couldn't continue
“Ok Alpha that's it games over it's dark and you have no idea where you’re going, time to go back to camp”

>Approaching him with your hand outstretched he recoiled and started shuffling away from you

“We can't go running around in the woods at night now-”

>Turning and running away from you you started to give chase but didn't need to run very far as he tripped on a gopher hole and hit the ground with a hard thud

>Rushing up next to him he groaned
“Are you ok”
>You went to help him up but he smacked your hand away

>Not so much as catch but just letting him not fall over he leaned into you

>Sighing there was only one choice now since its too late to carry him
“Listen just sit here ill start making camp”

>Seeing how stern you were, he simply looked down in a act of defeat

“Ok listen we’ll find it tomorrow ok?”

“Scouts honor”

>Well you got the fire pit together and the rest up what could be called a “camp” together at least
>But you didn't have time to be please with your work
>There still was not fire
>Turning to Alpha still trying to star a fire using a flint
>You sighed
>”Ok ok this will be the one”
>Striking the flint you could see he was failing miserably
“Here let me”
>”No stupid i can do it”
>leaning back you sighed
>You were really getting tired of this attitude
“Just give me it ok you don't even have your fire making badge yet”

>Pausing mid speech he just kept striking with no form
>Alright there was only one way out of this i guess
>crouching behind him you took hold of his paws

>Striking it a couple of times he actually was able to get a sparks to fly
>Turning to face to his face lit up with a smile

“Great now don't let the spark go out!”

>Throwing more wood onto the fire you sat next to Alpha
>It had gotten fully dark now and much colder
>You didn't really know what to say to him so you just sat in silence
>it was kind of awkward but, you didn't know what he liked
>Hearing shuffling beside you Alpha spoke
>”I'm going to try to stand ok”
>Nodding you got up to help him
>He didn't resist your help this time
>Wincing he tried to stand normally but wasn't fooling you
“Thats not good here let me see it”

“Come on i got a badge in first aid see? Your in good hands”

>With your help you lowered him
>”I Dont think any things broken or sprained i think i just hurt my paw”
“Still i should check, now take off your shoes”
>”W-what… o-ok”
>Leaning forward and angling her paw she took off both his shoe and sock
“Y-you didnt need to take of the sock”

>Looking away embarrassed at you, you looked at his paw
>Now you didn't have a paw fetish (At least you thinked) but his were so soft
>You never had really rubbed someones paw like this
>The fur was so soft, and paw pads themselves felt so nice to rub with your thumb
>A soft whimper snapped you out of your thoughts
>”That areas fine ok its around the ankle”
“Sliding your hands up till she winced you paused”
>Checking it and asking her to move you summarized she didnt break it or sprain it
“You just fell down and hurt yourself”
>Laughing to yourself at how over dramatic everything was, you failed to see the shoe Alpha threw at your face in retaliation to your laughing
>Getting up and seeing Alphas smug face as he carefully put his sock and shoe back on you sighed
“Alright lets just get some sleep”

>You can't get any sleep like this
>Since Alpha didn't bring a sleeping bag you were currently sharing yours with him
>For once you regret always being so prepared for anything
>Your options were to either sleep face to face or with your backs touching

>This was uncomfortable for a number of reasons

“A controller? We got badges for gaming now?”

>Going and forth with Alpha over many different things you felt happy at seeing him smile

Day 3

>Waking up out of conscious the sounds of nature filled you ears and its sunlight bothered your eyes
>You don't know when but you must have fallen asleep last night talking to Alpha
>You laid with your eyes open looking out ward trying to remember last night
>You don't remember much as your mind was still groggy from waking up
>You idly stoked your fur as you thought
>Wait, you didn't have fur?
>Looking down you noticed you had your arms wrapped around Alphas sleeping body!
>OH CRAP THIS WAS NOT GOOD!
>I mean ya you tended to cuddle the closest thing around you in your sleep but this was madness!

>Looking down at his sleeping from something funny hit you in the chest

>Before you could pull away in a panic you heard a soft murmuring coming from Alpha

>Feelin Alpha stir in your grip you looked down at him

>You felt a sharp feeling in your chest, but it wasn't fear
>His eyes still moist with morning dew looked up at you and seemed to sparkle

>They seemed to sparkle almost in the morning sunlight
>At this moment you thought, you could get used to waking up like this every morning
>Looking down at Alpha as his eyes focused his eyes quickly turned to ones of immediate confusion then anger
“Ummm good mornin-”

>Pushing you away you released your grip on him as he flailed about
>He must have been emotional as he wasn't hiding his claws as they raked across your face a few times
>You tried to apologize but your voice isn't as loud as his girly shriek
>Ripping himself out of the Sleeping bag he scrambled away from you
>”W-What the hell are you doing! D-d-don't you know i'm a guy! I was only joking about the gay stuff but THIS!?”
“Alpha Listen i-”
>”And to take advantage of me while I'm asleep too have you no morals! You god damn mother-”
“IM SORRY OK!”
>You yelled that a little louder than you wanted
>Stopping Alpha tight in his tracks you engaged in a small stare down before sighing deeply
“I wasn't trying to do anything ok? I just happen to roll around in my sleep a lot ok?”

>There was my silence between you two
>”Y-you didn't feel anything did you?”

“N-No i-i swear i just woke up like that you have my word”
>looking down and away from you, you swore you could see a slight smile upon his face
>”Scouts honor?”
>Standing up you comically gave a salute
“Scouts honor”

>After packing up camp and moving out you found What Alpha needed and started heading back to camp
>Your face was scratched up a bit from Alphas claws but it was nothing serious
>It was uneventful and quiet but at least alpha let you show him how to properly use his device
>You of course promised not to tell anyone
>You were content to put this morning's events behind you on your walk back to camp
>”So anon, i didn't know you swung that way”
>Looks like that wasn't going to happen
“Like i told you i just woke up like that ok!”

“I-i-i w-was still asleep for that o-ok”
>Seeing Alpha burst into laughter you looked away embarrassed

>Laughing hysterically next to you, you sighed, shouldered you backpack and marched ahead

>Seeing camp up ahead though some trees you stopped and waited for Alpha to catch up
>When he got close you turned to him and whispered sternly
“Not a word of this to anyone”
>Scoffing at your words he smiled smugly

>Walking past you with such confidence that betrayed his size you sighed
>How can someone so small be such a huge headache?
>Talking your time to approach camp behind Alpha you started unpacking your things at your tent when a voice caught you off guard
>”ANON THANK GOODNESS!”
>Turning around just in time you caught your friend Jake mid tackle as he crashed into with a hug
>God he was so emotional
>”When i didn't see you at night i was so hecking worried man”
“Come on, I was fine man, scouts are tougher than that!”
>You were laughing and patting Jake's back as he rambled on
>”Like You're our only friend man! Without you people would start bullying me again and stuff
>You were about to speak when you finally noticed Matt
>”So what the heck happened?”
“Eh we got a little lost nothing big”
>Pushing Jake away from you you took a breath before you were immediately hugged again
>But this time it was Matt
“W-what-”
>”Glad you’re ok bro”
>Before you could speak Jake also grabbed you into another hug
>You didn't really know how to react so you just sorta patted them both on the back
>It was then you noticed Alpha grinning at you shaking his head
>Cuping his paws together in front of his mouth he mimed shouting the word “GAYYYYY” then went into your tent
>Rolling your eyes you shimmed out of their grasp and broke the hugs
>Not many humans went to your school so for them to be your friends kinda gave them some status
>Not that they ever used it
>They were fine with just being your friend and not getting bullied anymore
>School kids were evil
>Now that you thought about it didn't Alpha also go to your school?

>He never really got angry but was really passionate and protective of those under his charge
>Maybe it was all the military experience he refused share
