- To get it, go to philips live chat, and say your toothbrush doesn't work
- they will ask for the following:
- Model number - HX6950
- Serial - 110xxx
- Serial code- Now this is easy to find, to find this number you = first 2 numbers are the year 10 = 20(10) next 2 numbers are the week 12= week 12. last 2 numbers dont matter.
- (Algorithm was given by HappyChappy )
- E.G= 101426
- 10= year so 2010
- 14=week so week 14
- 26= random numbers
- So try like 110422 or 110534 something like that!
- they may even ask whats on the head of the toothbrush ="ProResults"
- Then they will go through some simple troubleshooting steps.
- Some questions they might ask you:
- Q: when you put the toothbrush in the charger do the lights come on?
- A: yes, so does the battery light and the battery light is green
- Q: when you turn it on, does the toothbrush move and make a light humming sound?
- A: no, but the lights come on
- Q: does the toothbrush have 2 buttons?
- A: yes, a green one for power and a metallic one for switching modes
- after you go through all that bullshit they will replace a toothbrush handle for you (which has a brush head on it)
- after you receive the brushhead go back to the chat and say u are still having the problem and they will send u a charger
