  1. Hailing from a tight-knit tribe of Tabaxi in a woodland village known as Laurent (lots of French-inspired names by accident WHOOPS), vocations such as weaving and tailoring, or woodworking and smithing were abound. The older folk of the village were the masters, and the younger had plenty of trades and tools to choose from. Having zero social skill and a lot of creativity in their mind, Finley fit best behind an easel with a palette of colors to paint the visions of their mind. One vision especially in particular. A lush meadow, with a mountain dwarfing the land in the background. The details are fuzzy sometimes, clearer less frequently. Frequently finding themselves wandering a bit too far from the village as a result of their wanderlust, something had to be done about their scrawny figure and sheepish demeanor. Taken under the wing of one village master centered around meditation, oneness, and self-defense, Finn would hone their craft as not only a competent artist, but also a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, [REDACTED] was typically the only other who would accompany Finn and try to break them from the mold they had set themselves in as a conventional and martial artist. After all, if they wouldn't take up the mantle of village master of the brush, or even one who trained in the mastery of flowing fighting skills, who would? They would both succumb to the pressure of their society, Finn and [REDACTED], and as a result ended up setting off on their own accord once they had reached the precipice of their patience. Breaking away and splitting apart, forging their own paths outside of the tribe, they would inevitably cross paths when [REDACTED] stowed away on the vessel that Finn had called home for a few years.

  5. Captain Johann Bastille (not literally Captain, AKA the man the myth the legend)
  6. Human, built like a brickhouse and not keen on lollygagging or funny business, took a liking to Finn due to how straight-forward their attitude and goal had become. Rumors of hoarding treasures and riches galore as his crew sailed the seas, he was targeted by the Thieves Guild as a result, that's where Finn and [REDACTED] end up crossing paths.

  9. Water Genasi (subject to change, not sure what races are scarce or otherwise EXTINCT), she has visions of grandeur and excitement out on the seas. Born of somewhat nobility, she struck out to attempt to gain riches based on her own skill as a natural-born navigator, rather than the heir of a fortune she never had to work a day in her life for.
