Dramatis Personae

The factions of Jizz Gulch:

Red:

Ensign Adele, Wyvern. Together with her partner, she was sent to Jizz Gulch to master the art of command and to become accustomed to difficult-to-manage troops. Eager to enjoy life outside the confines of the academy, she’s quick to accept new ideas and bend every rule she comes across.

Ensign Darius, human. The Dragoon partner of Adele, he was sent to Jizz Gulch to likewise master the art of command and to become accustomed to difficult-to-manage troops. Has a stick up his ass about proper rules and conduct, believes in quick, aggressive manoeuvres.

Sergeant Sakejane, Red Oni. Boisterous fighter, enjoys the military lifestyle and couldn’t imagine living any other way.

Corporal Leona, Cyclops. A technological genius, she provides the necessary weaponry to compete with the Blue side’s Golem. Her greatest masterpiece is the Jubilation Wagon. Not good with talking to others.

Private First Class Beau, P’Orc. A life-long soldier, Beau has all the necessary skills of a soldier but none of the motivation. Disrespectful to authority, her personality is not built for the chain of command.

Private Cupcake, Alp. Raw recruit, turned Alp during basic training and got bunted into Jizz Gulch without finishing even basic.

Blue:

Ensign Diana, Wyvern. The valedictorian of her class at the academy, she’s pure officer material but is somewhat held back by her partner and childhood friend, Chaucer. Her tutoring and inspiring speeches are what enabled him to pass through the training to become a Dragoon.

Ensign Chaucer, human. Only went through Dragoon academy because it was where his lover went to, he has no interest in military service or command. Intends to use Jizz Gulch’s Blue Base as his personal honeymoon hideout.

Sergeant Mosque, Blue Oni. Cynical, feels surrounded by morons both above and below her in the hierarchy.

Corporal Louie, human. Doesn’t look all that old but claims to have been around for a while, been there and done that. In it for the booty.

Private First Class Luanne, Salamander. Louie’s lecherous bunkmate, a competent fighter who doesn’t think she should have to bother with actually doing things.

Private Buffy, Golem. Literal minded creature, lacks imagination. Strongest character present.

Neutral:

Hathorite Healer Hattie, Holstaurus. A woman of faith, she lives in a cave between the two factions and offers a neutral ground for the exchange of hostages and the healing of injuries. Can grant the temporary boost of one of the four elements to either side, with the caveat of the other side gaining the opposite power.
