  1. Mokou Well, change of plans. Instead of doing absolutely nothing like usual, Mokou finally had someone to fight. It wasn't her arch-rival Kaguya for once, but rather someone from outside Gensokyo. Casually strolling into the arena, the immortal would eye up her opponent, lifting a hand to pluck the cigarette from her mouth and drop it to the ground, pocketing that same hand once again and grinding out the still-lit cigarette with the toe of her boot. "So. You're the one I'm fighting, then?" She'd call out to the other, rolling her neck from side to side. "Setting up a ground rule for a victory, I'd say whoever wins is the one who either gives up or is physically unable to keep fighting. Sound fair?"

  3. Tenebra Placed a hand on her hip and turned to face the....child? That approached her and spoke, studying her in return and nodding some. "Technically you won't be fighting me, but yeah." Tilting her head slightly and closing her eyes, a heavy exhalation escaping her before black flame-like energy began to burn through her skin all over, enveloping her in the transparent aetherous energies before her body burned away visibly within down to a bare skeletal core, the aether retaining some semblance of a humanoid form: legs, arms, torso, head, even eyes of darkened pools of the energy. When it spoke a multi-toned voice seemed to emanate from the air its self around them. What will be the arena? This fight will be very destructive for this small a space.

  5. Mokou Mokou was no child. Hell, she hardly looked like one. Standing at a solid six-feet tall and with a modestly toned figure, she looked well into her mid twenties at most. Regardless, she'd give a nod in return before watching on with a somewhat unamused look at the transformation. "Eh, I 'unno if this place is able to actually change the look of the arena, but I'm certain that it'll handle what's gonna happen. It ain't collapsed yet, no?" A chuckle would come from the immortal from her little quip at the end of her statement before she'd roll her shoulders some. "Anyways, let's get this show on the road. I'll even let you get the first hit in." As a sign of good-will, Mokou didn't even lift her hands from her pockets as she said that, flashing a brief smile.
  6.
  7. Tenebra Very well. A ripping sound would echo as a portal roughly ten meters in diameter ripped open directly above the middleground between them, marked by jagged dark violet borders and showing nothing but speckled black beyond, followed by another opening just behind the Niffin, this one only seven foot tall, and four foot wide. Through the portal, a lance made entirely of a crystalline substance with rough-gut definitions reflecting light would hover to its side, parallel with the ground, followed by seven small white orbs like shooting stars, arranging themselves in a rotating ring like a crown. Since it'd been given time to prepare, it would only then follow-up by launching the spear like a bullet at Mokou, leaving a trail of light in its wake as it traveled.
  8.
  9. Mokou Eyeing the portal being ripped open before her, Mokou had to wonder to herself. Did this... Being posses similar powers to that of Yakumo Yukari? If that was the case, then this fight would be ten times more difficult. The lance was definitely something to be concerned over, though, as it definitely didn't look like anything she'd ever seen. However much she wanted to dodge out of the way of the incoming projectile, she had stated that she would take the first blow of the fight. Not even flinching, Mokou would've been struck square in the center of her torso by the lance, definitely been skewered through both her front and her back. Only after pulling herself off of the spear did she collapse to the ground in a pool of blood. Thus, the battle would officially begin. After a minute or two, the wounds on Mokou's body would erupt into an ethereal blue flame as they began to heal, signifying that she'd been resurrected from death, as she normally was during these situations. "..Alright then, my turn." Hmm, to go close range or to stay back and pelt the other with danmaku? Now this was a tough decision. It was only after her opponent's next turn that Mokou would decide her next move.
  10.
  11. Tenebra The spear as it passed through Mokou would definitely feel even more odd than it looked, like it had the weight of a building, but was also empty. If anything it would drain a little of Mokou's energy or life force as it passed through, though it was a moot point with the blow striking a kill anyways. Another portal would open and the spear would pass through it and out the one behind the Niffin, returning to its side and lurching to a halt. Perhaps we have different definitions of godlike power. The voice would echo again as Mokou rose to her feet once more, one of the shooting stars forming the crown ascending high above them and erupting rapidly into an actual burning sun, fusion occurring at an exponential rate to fuel it as its size grew, only for the spear to lance through it and draw the entirety of it into its form, absorbing the whole of it before it could even reach full mass and passing through the portal high above them, then once more out the one behind the Niffin, returning to its side, now glowing brightly and beginning to rotate. Your turn.
  12.
  13. Mokou Well, that was a bit of a flashy display. Though it'd seem as if Mokou was already enjoying this display provided by the portals, the lance, and the miniature solar fission. Even so, it'd appear that Mokou would definitely be a bit outmatched in that regard. After all, she held no control over such things like portals and the like. Since the other started out with a stronger attack, Mokou didn't feel the need to send out a weaker one. Rather, she'd ascend a couple meters into the air before summoning up a display of green danmaku bullets shooting out from herself in a spiral-like pattern, with two curved rays of pointed blue danmaku shapes accompanying the green spiral. All the while a red variation of the blue rays were to come out from behind, locking onto wherever Mokou's opponent was and chasing after them, only capable of moving in a single direction. This was the immortal's opening spell card: Limiting Edict - "Ihakasa's Moon Curse" and by no means was it her only one, as she had plenty of others at her disposal. Those would only be used with time.
  14.
  15. Tenebra Held those unblinking darkened pools like eyes steady on the opponent, the crystalline lance shifting by its side slightly as it awaited the girl's return. Energy-bullets? And dagger-like energy bursts from each side? It was time to test the make of the girl before they went any further, the lance arching up and back behind the Niffin in that same ribbon of light, cutting through the two red ones from behind and absorbing their energy into its self as it did, meanwhile it just stood its ground and let the green and blue smash into its form. If they were magical in nature, magic missiles or bullets, they'd dissolve on contact, 'bursting' into raw mana or aether and absorbing into its form harmlessly. If they were some other type of creation; perhaps psionic or some such, they'd burst through its form and disperse the aetherous energy wherever they made contact, though it'd just reform from its energy immediately after, the lance returning to its side.
