[18:45] {NARRATION} Deep within Gehenna is where the shrine that Godfrey had selected is located. Thankfully the trip is quick and short, and the only true obstacles the group have to contend with is the underbrush of the dense jungle. But there finally it appears through the treeline. It’s a stone building, like most in Gehenna are with multiple stories along with moss and vines hanging alongside the outside of it. The shrine itself is very very old and time has not been precisely kind to it. There are places that are damaged upon the outside and even graffiti, yet the shrine itself still stands. A true testament to Quetzalcoatl.

Two large wooden doors bar the group’s entrance, and it seems that it will take a great deal of power to open them.

Everyone please flash your strength.
[18:49] Siegfried is always more than glad to help his tiny bro on any expeditions that he heads out on - and really, more than glad just to get out of Levengard to begin with. At some undisclosed time before arrival, he'd made smores, and is currently happily munching on them on a stick, skipping through the dense foliage of the jungle.

"We gotta almost be there, ya' think, right Godfrey? Not too far now, eh?"

Despite what he says, he seems to be in no real hurry to move, just whimsical, jovial prancing. He spins about this way and that like he has all the time in the world - and like he wasn't one of the oldest here.

This is, of course, until he damn-near bumps into the building.

Coughing, the boy - well, man at this point - moseys his happy little ass on over to the wooden door, his smore hanging limp at his side. After a few experimental nudges, a kick, and a quick 'Abracadabra!' He comes to the realization this thing wasn't going to come open easily.

Siegfried hands his smore on a stick off to Vetani, rolls up his sleeves, and then begins to push with all his might, alongside any who would help them!

[18:51] Godfrey could care less for the brush and all the little details in his way. With a razor sharp tornado in his palm, Godfrey quite literally uses blades of wind to tear them a path through whatever inconvenience might lie in wait. Once they'd cut their way through the jungle, he stands before a stone building with several stories that rise into the sky. With all of the brush on the sides of the buildings, he reaches into his pockets for a small foldable map and pulls it out.

"The place seems right in line with the map.. I guess we won't know until we-" He's stopped at first with the shrine's damage and the moss. A frown follows, and he shakes his head side to side. ".. It looks like it's already been looted, too." The youth crosses his arms over his chest and shakes his head side to side.

He tilts his head to the side now, and points a palm towards Siegfried and the door itself. With a snap of his fingers, he pushes Siegfried's wind-enhanced strength to the next level with nothing short of magical prowess.

"You look like you need help, Siegfried."

[18:52] Through shaded jungles did Godfrey and his compainions trek to meet the temple of Quetzelcoatl. Bubbles walked alongside Skye Sugar; wings and draconic features in full display. A mix of excitement and anciousness permiated the Draken's face.

They finally found themselves in front of a large set of wooden doors; contests of strength were not Bubble's strong suit. Instead, she opts to keep her soothing chill and ringing bells lowered so as their company to concentrate.

"Well... here we are?"

A look to Skye; did he have a plan for this?

[18:53] If Vetani was asked to raid the Levengard library, she would have been outraged and appalled. If Vetani was asked to raid an Illuminated shrine, that also would have appalled her.

However, as she marches through brush that goes from autumnal to jungle, she appears to be gleeful. Double standards are applying for the young child, with not many thoughts to her aside from how her fingers tingle to pilfer remnants of Quetzalcoatl.

There was more to Vetani underneath the surface. Godfrey was here, and it makes her think of the incident with the nethradin. It seemed-- like everyone was the same, but she wasn't sure how far the hell-demon's influence went.

"Thank you, Siegfriend," she says, and eats his smore on a stick. Sorry Siegfried, but Vetani is eager for free food.

With that, Vetani cartwheels and gives the door a nice push, helped by the momentum of the others' wind magic!

[18:55] Sometimes, they're were times they didnt really why they did most things. Yet they joined on this expedition with one from levengard, how bad could it possibly be?

Flying throughout the underbrush of the thick foliage was...tough. But it didnt phaze them in the slighest. Ever constantly shifting winds sliced through leaves and tree branches a like as the drakanite seemingly felt far more natural being in the sky.


Yet upon gazing towards the once lifelike but now abandoned Quetezelcoatl temple they let out a stiffling sound that almost seemed like a small choking noise. A small piece of metal seemingly..rising from within their cloak before they carefully and safely tucked it away. Best not to have that float away..

"Uhm...We're here indeed I think.."

A returned look towards Bubbles with a slight shrug. They had no idea what to really do here.

[19:02] {NARRATION} The party would struggle - only briefly. The combined mind of Siegfried's raw strength, along with the others helping out the cause was plenty enough for the old, heavy wooden doors to creak open. Slowly but surely, they opened, having been sealed for so long.

Dust kicked up, briefly obscuring their view from the interior for a small time, but once it settles they're afforded access. Inky darkness greets them. There are torches along the entrance walls, inviting one to light them to grant sight and once they do, they'll notice a large open stone chamber with multiple branches of rooms and hallways. There are stairs leading up through the temple proper towards the back as well.

On the left is a hallway with two rooms, one on each side. On the right is a hallway duplicating that. Further back is a third hallway with a single rom leading from it. Everything is quiet beyond the flickering of flames and the occasional noise from the building settling or creaking from small animals that found the shrine home now.
[19:06] Godfrey brings his hands together as small Occult flames appear on the tips of his fingers. Reaching out towards the torches, smaller beams of Occult force strike out against the torches and light the room up in a darker shade of light than usual. With the dim light showing off the room, he steps forward and brings his arm up to cover his face.

"God. Let's blow away all of this dust, please?" A tornado is crafted and subsequently placed to sit in the center of the room and suck in all of the messy, disgusting gunk from the temple's central chamber. "... Two rooms on the left, two on the right. A single room going forward. Lots of choices."

He turns his head to the left.

"I'm feeling left. Anyone else?"

[19:08] A small twitch of irritation at the prickle in the air. Occult was..fickle yet, it wasnt thatbad of a sensation..at least for now. But regardless with a glance towards bubbles before they gave another half hearted shrug.

Directions..choices they were really, really bad with.

"Left sounds good..I think?" Another shrug then a half nod. Still abit confused regardless.

[19:08] Bubbles says, "...Left, sure thing."
[19:08] Vetani claps her hands together with delight. Likely, Siegfried's rippling muscles with the wind whirling around them did most of the work, but Vetani expected that. She expected a lot of people to do more of the heavy lifting, when she pestered Godfrey to come along at the beautiful age of eleven years old. (And when in doubt, she has her wits and her magic tricks.)

Vetani puts her drumstick in her holster, and yanks out a torch from the wall. The occult flame this close started to give her this strange sensation of burning, but Vetani seems to accept that simple fact.

She sticks close to the group, a torch held high in the air. "I dunno why you feel left, but let's go with that. ...Wish the inside of the temple had a map."

[19:13] And...they'd lost him. Yeah, this was not his specialty. Siegfried, for his part, looking at the riddle of where to go or what to do just kind of gives a resounding shrug.

He's also upset that Vetani ate his damn smore.
(Siegfried)

[19:13] Vetani is now walking around with the remains of the smore on her face.
(Vetani)

[19:14] Vetani says, "Time to go left wit' us then, Siegfried."
[19:16] {NARRATION} On the left are two rooms. Whichever room will they check first...?

Whoever opens the door to either of the rooms, please roll a D6. Not everyone needs to do this - JUST the person who opens the door!
[19:17] Vetani scratches her chin with the hand not on the torch.

[19:18] Vetani says, "Two doors, two doors. Mnnn. Looks delibrate. "
[19:18] Without a second thought, Siegfried opens the first door on the left, smiling from ear-to-ear...

Disaster was definitely incoming.

[19:18] Vetani jumps back, because before anything else... SIEGFRIEND OPENED THE DOOR!
(Vetani)

[19:19] {NARRATION} A spring was set off as soon as Siegfried opened the door. Before he knew it, spikes flew forward towards the open door, threatening to skewer Siegfried.

Please roll a flee.
[19:19] Siegfried attempts a series of highly acrobatic maneuvers in order to evade the spikes that were almost certainly going to impale him otherwise, screeching like a howler monkey.

[19:23] {NARRATION} Fortunately, Siegfried is just barely fast enough to avoid becoming a s'mores upon a stick like he had just been eating. Perhaps this was karma from him devouring the tasty marshmallow treats.

However his clothing is ripped to shreds.

Siegfried please roll another D6.
[19:24] {NARRATION} Thankfully, there is a silver lining.

Siegfried finds some Adamantite ore.
[19:25] Siegfried looks down at the adamantite ore, twitching, and then leaves it for any of the gathered to go for.

The man rips his jacket off, exposing what he wears underneath. He'd need to grab a new one when he got back to Levengard. Tatters also line his pants, but he isn't taking those off - Chris Hansen could be behind him at any given moment.

"Nothin' to worry about," he says cheerfully, shredding all alongst his clothing in various points from where he'd nearly fucking died. "One o' you take that, and let's keep goin', yeah?"

[19:29] Vetani looks very white under the bright light of her torch. Everything happening in front of her was too much to comprehend. Things like lecturing Siegfried go out the window, and she instead clings to his reassurance like a balm.

She pockets the adamantite, despite not being a merchant or blacksmith.

Then, Vetani faces the rest and points to the rightmost door. "Can anyone think of a way to-- make sure traps don't go off if we open the door? Like a big shield or somethin'"

[19:30] {NARRATION} The second door stands there menacingly.

A loud bat screeches, taking off from the ceiling and threatens to get tangled in Vetani's hair.
[19:30] Looking at the second door..they gave a half shrug before going forward to open it- Is what they would have done. Instead summoning up a small specter soldier to open the door instead.

That should save them from danger..right?

[19:30] Siegfried says, "..Oh, shit, that's really useful..."
[19:31] Vetani starts flailing her Occult torch at the bat, whilst Skye opened the door!
(Vetani)

[19:31] {NARRATION} Skye proved to use his noggin, having a spectral soldier instead open the door. Unfortunately, that wouldn't do much for the group lined up in the hallway.

The end of the hallway opened, and a boulder began rolling towards them at a moderate speed.

Everyone please roll your flees!
[19:32] Bubbles attempts to move fast enough away from the boulder! Running the opposite direction while looking for a place that would keep her safe.

[19:34] Vetani sees that Skye's well-intentioned plan very much did not work, and a bolder was coming right towards them all...

[19:34] The young lad looks up, sees the boulder that is incoming to crush them all, and scoops up Vetani, turning and sprinting full-on away as fast as his legs would carry them.

"OHHHHHH SHIIIIII-"

This is quite a dicey situation they have found themselves in.

[19:34] With the power of the wind, and..well an immense amount of sugar the drakanite attempted to literally slide down the path. Just to get away from the bolder fast enough. Please Quetzelcoatl let them be fast enough..

[19:35] Godfrey moves towards the boulder instead of away from it. He points both of his palms towards it and charges reika into his massive wings behind him.

All of his reika comes together in a singular shockwave of wind. 18 Spell Damage.

"Do me a favor and let's stop opening doors before all of us are primed and ready, yeah!?" He roars now, forcing a concentrated burst of wind at one prime location at the boulder. It would either slow, or shatter into pieces.

[19:36] Vetani is scooped up like a sack by Siegfried, in the meantime.
(Vetani)

[19:41] {NARRATION} Bubbles, Siegfried, Skye and Vetani successfully exit the hallway and round the corner.

Godfrey, however, despite being fast enough, rounds upon the Boulder instead. It's just a rock being paid to do it's job but sadly, Godfrey would ruin this poor Boulder's day.

"Aaahhh"

Came the noise from the Boulder. Wait. Did it just talk? It did... And as the Shockwave impacted the Boulder it screamed out in unimaginable pain.

"WHY HURT TOM?!"

Before it burst into pieces. Yet Tom still his day in the sun, as a piece of the boulder struck Godfey in his shin. It hurt.
[19:42] Godfrey Vishkar says, ". . ."
[19:42] Godfrey Vishkar says, "You Gehennans are so -fucking WEIRD.-"
[19:42] Godfrey Vishkar asks, "WHY IS IT TALKING!?"
[19:42] Godfrey Vishkar asks, "WHY?"
[19:42] Skye Sugar asks, "...E-earth spirit?"
[19:42] Bubbles exclaims, "...TOM I'M SO SORRY SPIRITS!"
[19:42] Skye Sugar exclaims, "Please dont hate us Tom!"
[19:43] Godfrey Vishkar says, "OH NO. IT CAN HATE ME. I KILLED THAT THING DEAD."
[19:43] Vetani asks, ". . . Why did it want'ta kill us?"
[19:44] Vetani says completely seriously, despite being an intruder.

[19:44] Siegfried drops Vetani and rounds the corner, returning. He bends down, picking up a broken piece of Tom, and cradling it to his chest.

A single tear falls from his eye, and falls onto the rock that had once been a spirit, with a material body, and feelings.

"...Why hurt Siegfried?" He says in response, nary above a whisper. He shudders, and holds the rock closer, up to his face, cradling it lovingly, as a father might a newborn babe.

"Why hurt Siegfried."

[19:45] Bubbles was now crying, running over to the pieces of boulder that now littered the floor. They killed him, oh spirits they killed that poor sentient boulder. Weeping while feebly trying to put back the boulder into it's original shape.

But it was all for naught. She couldn't reconstruct him in time. Bubbles hung her head low as gentle tears flowed onto the now-shattered boulder.

Ashes to Ashes. Dust to Dust. Rock to... rock?

Unable to put it together, she decides to carry a piece of Tom with her. He will remain a treasured memory, close to her heart.

[19:47] Is rather more concerned on her alive, and benevolent friends amidst this weird temple.

She waddles over to Godfrey, because she could see a wound formed where the boulder pierced him.

"Gosh, in the leg... are you able to walk?"
(Vetani)

[19:47] Poor..poor earth spirit..Tom had just done his job. But..this was too much all they did was try and steamroll everyone.

Yet they ended up steamrolled themselves. A faint tear from the drakanite as they pushed a pile of the rocks together and said a silent prayer to the spirits.

"Goodbye Tom..maybe you'll find another tom or something in the spirit world..or a Thomas?...They're are trains in the spirit world right?"

Who knew what the drakanite was thinking..but poor poor rock.

[19:53] Godfrey lowers his hands and shakes his head. When he butchered Tom with belligerence, he didn't really.. Expect.. a voice to come out? Staring at it for a time, he contemplates caring for something that would've hurt him and Siegfried - And then promptly shrugs his shoulders.

Godfrey brings a hand down and rubs his shin as he gives a small wince.

"Oh well! That's what when you're not strong enough." He brings a hand to his head and rubs it now, otherwise free to fly throughout the shrine and no longer walk on his legs. "Am I right, or what?"

Godfrey had been different ever since he had taken Hathor's heart. So long ago, he told his mother he'd never kill if he could help it. To keep true to Azrael's first stage of his life. Oh how far they've fallen.

With his smile as wide as ever, he turns to the other doors. "I'll take one for the team. We're headed right." Godfrey seemed.. Jovial?

[19:53] Siegfried says, "...................."
[19:54] Skye Sugar says, "Uhm..I can..use plenty of more ghosts.."
[19:54] Bubbles says, "...Lets just keep going."
[19:55] Siegfried sighed, and then began to rub his temples. Ah. So this was going to be something he had to deal with. The corruption of yet another one of his tiny accomplices.

God damn it Levengard.

The young human follows steadily behind Godfrey, hands in his pockets, notably distilled in joy and passion. There were now much more ominous things looming over the horizon -

And they still had this perilous temple to traipse through.

[19:56] Vetani wipes off the sweat on her palms, and sees that Godfrey is doing alright, good in fact. Although, there was something about his voice that started jarring with Vetani's senses. She faces toward the right with torch aloft.
(Vetani)

[19:56] {NARRATION} Some of them empty their pockets, to carry Tom the disabled Boulder with them in their hearts for eternity. Tom was just a simple boulder, who was merely working at the temple on a contract to provide Boulders with disabilities the chance to make a living.

Anyway.

They head to the right side hallway now, and much like on the left there are two doors. What will they do?

[19:57] Vetani says, "Alright. We need to-- mm. Think on things."
[19:57] Bubbles says, "...Yes, lets get a plan before we do something... brash, next time."
[19:58] Vetani says, "So the left door on the left was spikes, and the right door on the left side was a boulder."
[19:58] Is..definatly using another door, this time the opposite door to the one Godfrey was opening! Without thinking involved another spectral soldier was summoned before they opened a door on the left.


"Wait..did you guys say something?"

[19:58] Bubbles says, "Is there anything actually in there? "
[19:58] Bubbles says, "The rooms we opened, I mean."
[19:58] Godfrey NOW opens a door.

[19:58] Vetani exclaims, "Agh, no!!"
[20:00] {NARRATION} For the door Skye's spectar opened, air could be heard cycling through tubes in the room, funneling deadly darts towards the door. There was of course a chance the Spirit could dodge in time; or... It probably didn't matter. Let's hope no one is standing directly BEHIND the spirit who opened the door!

For the door Godfrey opened, the Oscuri quickly falls into a hole that opened right underneath him. He lands in a solid pitch black room, and then he begins to hear the sound of rushing water.

The room was filling with water, and quickly.

[20:05] Thinking quickly, Siegfried has the brilliant idea of ripping his torso armor off and diving into the warrior with the young lad. As soon as he gets down there, he grabs Godfrey, and squeezes him tightly...

Then realizes he is trapped down there as well.

"SOMEONE SAVE US!" He hollers up and at those who hadn't been insane enough to jump, hair covering his eyes due to being matted down by the dampness.

Afterward, he aims to just...leap as high as he can, up into the air, using his wind magic to aid him in doing so. He has some pretty crazy vertical, but likely not enough to make it all the way up there.

[20:05] Oh spirits! The Oscuri had fallen into a pit, and the sound of running water was all too easy for the Draken to hear. She places both of her hands at the edge of the hole, trying to locate the source of running water. Where it to be found, she would focus a burst of freezing energies to halt the flow of water, if not to simply halt the water with her magicks.

"Hold on Gofrey! I'll stop the water!"

Spirits, she hoped she could stop the water.
(Bubbles)

[20:06] The sounds ripped from Vetani suddenly sound much higher, enough that it could scratch through the air itself. Frustration, desperation, and her own helplessness as these doors were open... again!

She crouches down at the edge of the hole, where water fills more and more. All items are dropped again, except for...

A Dusk marching flag is held out, where Vetani aims to have the long pole act as a grabbing point for Godfrey-- and now Siegfried?
(Vetani)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[20:12] {NARRATION} Godfrey had a good plan, to use his wings to try and escape the torrential waters pouring in. Thankfully his wings weren't of the bird variety, otherwise the water would ruin them.

Then Siegfried drops down there as well, so now Godfrey must support his own weight as well as Siegfried's own. But thankfully, the collective teamwork helped ultimately.

Bubbles worked to stop the water temporarily, enough so the waters wouldn't drown them both, as Godfrey's wings beat and beat. Siegfried leaps, and manages to catch the marching flag that was held out. Godfrey's wings take him high enough to also reach the flag itself, and they're able to be pulled out of the trap pit.

They were saved, with the help of teamwork.
[20:18] Vetani is a squirt, but also imbued with strength of a magi. A baby magi compared to the rest, but her plan works. She digs her heels heavily into the stone, gaining enough momentum to finally pull Siegfried and Godfrey out of the watery grave.

The flag is dropped, and she sits with a hand on her forehead. Groaning. Would be checked out mentally for the moment, but the desperation running through everyone was too strong. It hurts.

[20:25] Godfrey's reika glows brighter and brighter. Because they were made of energy, they can move through the water almost with ease. It's almost like they aren't tangible. Flying higher and higher - Siegfried hops with him. His eyes go wide as soon as the extra weight is added, and she gasps suddently. Bubbles attempt to shift the waters keeps them from being swallowed alive, and he's allowed to go.

Taking the flag now, they're hoisted up and out. Now flopping onto the floor and gasping for air, he's left to cough up water from his lungs and shout.

"Damn it! Fuck!"

[20:25] A hand reaches out, and, so close his heart skips a beat, he is able to narrowly grab that flag.

Somehow, against all odds, they've managed to conquer almost all of these treacherous doors. Sighing, the boy lies on the ground, letting Godfrey go, so that the Oscuri could wander off and do his own thing, and then just lays there, eyes closed.

"Jus'...go ahead and open the next door. Give me a second."
(Siegfried)

[20:27] {NARRATION} Godfrey and Skye, roll a D6 once you're done with your fights.
[20:30] Vetani does not walk on to open any doors, and takes time to curl in a fetal position! It's comfortable.

[20:31] {NARRATION} Godfrey finds, for his fear and his troubles, two poppylus.

Skye finds two things of Alessa.

Now all the doors upon the first floor have been searched through. The only way to go was up...
[20:31] {Item} You picked up Alessa..
[20:31] {Item} You picked up Alessa..
[21:02] Godfrey and Siegfried, while given their respective times to catch a breath, would likely eventually get back and onto their feet. "You know.. I had a gut feeling that we should've just taken this path to begin with. Why the hell didn't we?!"

He's left to squeeze out all of the liquid from his cape, now hobbling towards the last and final entrance. "Is everyone alright? Through and through?"

[21:02] Bubbles asks, "I am plenty fine. Shall we go on ahead?"
[21:12] Vetani wished she had more time. Despite sustaining a grand total of no injuries or near-drowning, the barrage of traps sent her into a haggard state.

For her first adventure, this may have been a bit too much for her. With all the danger, her techniques of opening herself to the emotions of others definitely made her look a bit worse for wear. But that was something she had a hard time just turning 'off,' after all this time.

"Please, please, please... go slowly. These traps only activate from us doing things, so I-- we could use that time to... prepare." Vetani was mumbling to the group at large. "This is only the first room!"

Who knew what else awaited them.

[21:18] {NARRATION} The second floor was almost an exact copy of the first. Two hallways, one on each side. Each hallway had 3 doors, for a total of six rooms. Once more, there was silence within the temple except for the occasional mouse chittering.

Left and right were their choices, or they could continue moving up.

[21:24] Vetani says, "Bursting down the doors will still open dangerous things. There could be more living things like the boulder to chase us, or random pits activated..."
[21:26] Bubbles asks, "I mean, what if we even just checked the door, and tried to remove whatever starts the trap?"
[21:27] Vetani asks, "Huh. What does trigger the traps...?"
[21:27] Bubbles says, "Why don't we look at one of the doors? Humor me."
[21:28] Bubbles says, "I'm going to check one on the right."
[21:28] Vetani looks at the others, and if they follow Bubbles first.

[21:29] Bubbles makes her way to one of the doors on the right side of the room, specifically the one on the most right. Before opening the door, she takes an intensive observation of the door in all aspects, looking for anything out of the ordinary for a normal door.

[21:33] {NARRATION} Bubbles is blind as shit.
She trips on a rock too.
[21:33] Bubbles exclaims, "D-FUCK!"
[21:33] Bubbles doesn't even make it to the door, she trips over on a small rock. In a huff, she picks herself up an makes it to the door, not even bothering to check, since she can't see shit.

[21:40] {NARRATION} As Bubbles opens the door, she's slapped in the face with a rock. However what is around the rock is more important than anything else in the world.

It was a feather, yellow and golden, and felt like the wind. At least it wasn't a deadly trap. Maybe Vertani's idea was correct?

As Skye also opened a door, the room itself is empty. There are no traps; the only thing they see, off in the corner dusty and broken is a part of a fan.

For Godfrey, he opens the door and there's a small spirit girl that gazes up at him, with huge heartfelt eyes. There are green wings made of Reika on her back, transparent as they are.

"... Where is she... I lost her. I lost my mommy," The Spirit says sadly. It's as if she doesn't even see Godfrey at all. Right past her is a green feather, and the sound of wind could be heard swirling around it. All he had to do was reach past the lost spirit.
[21:47] A small docile blink from the drakanite as they stared around the very room. Eyes resting upon the broken fan in the distance and yet..it seeminly was all that the room had. Even so it was seemingly the better half of things most definatly.

Flapping their wings over to it even as it jingled faintly in the echoing room they collected the fan with a small smile gracing their face. This..would make a great dancing item. Perhaps it could be repaired with some other things as well.


Walking back out of the room clutching the ever so broken fan after all! Profound power radiating from it even as they held onto it even gentlier.

[21:49] Bad luck seems to follow Bubbles for this door. Not even a second after opening it, she is smacked in the face by a rock. There is an audibal "OOF" as she recoils and holds her eye.

Youch, she has a bit of a black eye around her right now. It would certainly hurt more in the morning. In a fit of annoyance, she picks up the rock and threatens to chuck it across the room.

"SPIRITS DAMN THIS STUPID DO-"

She's stopped by the shining, golden feather wrapped gently around the stone. It radiated the energy of Quetzelcoatl, what with it's graceful winds. She plucks it from the rock, letting the stone fall to the earth.

Good things come from bad omens, apparently.

[21:57] Godfrey opens his door - Only to find a spirit that looks up to him, staring back. He's quick to narrow his eyes and charge a tornado, but the reika wings cause his hand to fall down immediately. Godfrey narrows his eyes at the spirit now, shaking his head side to side.

No. Reaching for the feather and holding back gets you killed. "Go back to Azrael, little one. Be the one that shines his armor, and cheers him forward to the fight." Godfrey cloaks himself with reika and would start to give the spirit some of his reika. Little by little, he's trying to establish a bond between the spirit and their creator through the shared and beautiful pseudo-mana.

"Reach for him. He's out there. He'll take you with open arms, as he has all of us. Your mother will be with him. I promise." There is one thing and one thing only that could get through how closed off he was nowadays.

Oscuri.

.. If she faded and took his newly addedreika to pass on? He would take the feather. If not? He'd wait and see what his attempt would net them.
