  1. Once I have all the information I need about a guild, I will go up to an unguilded player whether looking for one or not and start with a simple, "Do you have a moment?" People that don't respond or say no, I will not bother with and go on to the next person. I do NOT use robot-like channel advertisements. What I do is on a more personal level.
  2.
  3. If they player says yes, I will ask them something along the lines of, "I noticed that you're not in a guild, are you looking to join one?"
  4.
  5. If the player says no I might ask him why not or ask if there was something wrong with the last one's that he joined.
  6.
  7. If yes, then I will ask them what kind of guild they are joining. I may ask more questions so that I can match the unguilded player to the appropriate guild.
  8.
  9. Then once I find a guild that suits the player's attitude and/or interest, I will give them the ALLOWED guild information including,
  10.
  11. - The guild's name
  12. - Name of guild leader or online officer if the guild leader is not online.
  13. - The guild's goals and aspirations, and how far they are to achieving it.
  14. - The guild's size (only if asked)
  15. - The guild's level (only if asked)
  16. - What kind of guild it is.
  17. - Whether or not the player will need to register to a website.
  18.
  19. Information that will NOT be given include
  20.
  21. - Ventrilo Information
  22. - Guild Vault Information
  23. - Website Information (The address of a guild's website is up to the guild member/officer/leader It's not my place to give someone of another guild their website address.)
  24. - Ranking information
  25. - Anything negative about your guild
  26. - Anything personal about your guild
  27.
  28. After all is said and done and the player is interested in joining, I will invite an officer to a party to give the final invite, and forward the guild leader a mail saying "I recruited [playername] into your guild."
  29.
  30. If neither officer nor GM is online to make the final invite, I will send an ingame mail to all officers and GM to get in touch with the player ASAP.
  31.
  32. If any problems should arise between the guild and the player, I will be taking a screenshot of the conversation I had with the unguilded player prior to the invite and sending the screenshot to the GM of the guild he/she was invited to. This is to avoid any unnecessary drama and covers my hide.
