Please repost this if you know or are related to someone killed on Alderaan when it was obliterated by the Death Star. Our wish is that people will understand that the Empire is a band of murdering scum. The Rebel Alliance wants to bring peace to the galaxy, but the Galactic Empire continues to kill innocent civilians. 93% won’t post this. Will YOU?

Contrary to the propaganda provided by the rebels, Alderaan's destruction was by no means desired. The Emperor was forced to take drastic action when he learned that the rebels had seized control of Alderaan's considerable planetary defense systems and weapons caches which were provided by the Empire for defense of the planet from villainous pirates and thieves looking to exploit the peaceful inhabitants of that world. The Emperor had the following to say to the 60,000+ surviving Alderaanians:
"These people have lost a homeworld through no fault of their own. Offering them a new homeworld is the least I can do to compensate them for their loss."
The continued slander from the rebel propaganda machine only hurts those who survive the senseless loss of life brought about by their own hands. Citizens of the Empire, please report anyone making such outlandish claims about our Glorious Emperor or the Magnificent Empire so that their allegiances can be duly investigated.
