  1. The 6th world is not a world you were meant to survive.
  2.
  3. Megacorporations kill for the bottom line, brains fry jacked into the matrix, magic threatens to overwhelm its users and cybernetics cost a part of your soul.
  4.
  5. Everything has a price.
  6.
  7. But you are a Shadowrunner. A member of the bleeding edge, someone who does not technically exist. You do what nobody else can or will do and get paid handsomely for it.
  8.
  9. That doesn't mean it's easy.
  10.
  11. Shadowrunning required you to be fast on your feet, able to tackle challenges as they arise and be on the bleeding edge.
  12.
  13. The entities you will be facing you will outnumber you and outgun you.
  14.
  15. Your enemies are not just faceless AI. They're metahuman beings too. They fight, use tactics, have families and self-preservation. Any tool you have can be used against you by the powers that be. That being said, NPCs aren't all knowing. They have flaws, vices and dirty laundry that can be exploited.
  16.
  17. I reserve the right to choose characters that I believe are appropriate for the world and the run itself. I tend to avoid taking runners that are the stranger and rarer variants (SURGE, HMHVV 1+2, Shifters, etc) but this is not a hard and fast rule.
  18.
  19. All that being said, treat my runs like a gritty action movie. The rule of cool is in effect at all times and if you do something awesome, you'll probably refresh a point of edge. I encourage active legwork that leads to RP, so get out there and do stuff.
  20.
  21. Now for the nitty-gritty rules:
  22.
  23. I do not use any Vehicle called shots. This is because they ruin car chases.
  24.
  25. If you burn edge to use "Not Dead Yet" your character will survive the attack. The grenade still goes off next to you, the bullet still hits your skull. You'll be left breathing, but barely. It is not a get out of jail free card, you will still need to be dragged to safety. That being said, it is very rare for your character to find themselves in a position where they won't be given a chance to bargain, lie or beg for their lives in the aftermath.
