to be completely honest with you, the comment was really...left-field and maybe I'm being sensitive about it but I really didn't like it in chat and felt it would have been more appropriate if you came to me privately about it, since it seemed much more of a call-out than just a comment

I know you weren't trying to be hurtful but it definitely was. and honestly - and this isn't something you knew, so I'm not mad - but it makes me uncomfortable when people do things like that, because I get suspicious of people's reasons for looking into my threads
likewise, I also know you're a mod and literally stalk everything, so it's not like that can be helped
it's fine but yeah, it wasn't cool, though I know you weren't being malicious or trying to hurt me

I'd been unable to do all of my stalking for about the last week, so almost everything in that log is stuff I haven't read unless I'm literally tagging it. Work has been nuts.
FC went off to work and linked that particular thread as the first thing for me to get caught up on because she was super stoked about it!
So I was really just meaning to start my own rash of 'commenting on things I'm currently reading' 'till I could fall asleep.
Just to let you know, wholly and unambiguously, where I was coming from.

it wasn't your intention, but this also isn't the first time you've made a comment that has come across like dragging a character in chat - and while I don't think those times were intentional either, that's the tone it's taken sometimes
