Any idea what's going in with volume drive?
For last three days, my vm is down and I contacted volumedrive regarding that. They responded about some changes in ips and an email wa sent out. I didn't received it but okay. May be my end issue. After that message, no one responds to any requests further.

Is volume drive closing down? I remember their mother company is different. I am worried about my data. Sorry if this is not a right kind of post here but I have no other choice.

Whilst staff from VD may come across this thread, I don't think they'll be replying here.

Depending on how long it has been since the outage, I'd wager on you not seeing your data again, simply based on their past (search WHT). Further concerning, their client area has an invalid SSL certificate (NET::ERR_CERT_REVOKED).

No matter who you host with (doesn't matter if they're charging $1 a month, or $100) you should be in a point where it has no impact on you if your data is held hostage in a situation like this. Storage is dirt cheap (take SoYouStart's ARM servers, for example), there is really no excuse.

I have been with them for about 6 years without much issues. Yeah, they are cheap but support was good in past at US timings. So didn't thought about leaving them.

I have data backup which was taken 2 months back but recent off site backups were somehow corrupted (uploaded to gdrive) . There were a few changes made on client websites in the last week and I don't have them.

I still hope some one will get in touch on Monday atleast .

VolumeDrive appears to have some major downtime with the nodes, not just the IP changes. They replied on Monday and Tuesday (IST) stating they are working on it and bla bla.. I brought sites online through an another provider though with some old data from backups. Cancelled out VolumeDrive services. Bye VolumeDrive.
