  1. (Audio from Shrek) “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP!?”

  3. Hello and welcome to my Dusk Pacifist playthrough. This video is E1MS: The Dim Slough
  4.
  5. I’m gonna be honest here, I’m gonna be struggling for commentary because the Dim Slough isn’t anything special. Pro speed drinking here, by the way. The Slough may be secret, but it’s a completely bog-standard level, for the most part. Get it? Bog standard? Yeah I’m funny. Anyway, just some simple strafe-jumping to get past all these guys and grab the red key. I could grab the yellow key too, but I really don’t need anything in the yellow rooms, and I’d probably get bogged down in enemies if I went for it. Heh, bogged down. I grabbed this diamond for safety, but I honestly didn’t really need it. Give these guys a wide berth and head through this pipe. Plus one to the sewer count I guess. By the way, subscribe to Civvie11, he’s the reason I played this game in the first place.

  7. Now this is the reason I picked up the shotgun: you can shoot switches in this game. That’ll come in real handy later, especially once we get a crossbow. Be careful coming off this ladder, your life will be a lot easier if you don’t aggro the Cultist on the upper floor. I got a bit careless and took a stupid hit there, but I don’t get hit by the Scarecrow so it’s all good. Now here’s the important part: hiding like a little rat. This is where we exploit Dusk’s pathfinding to our advantage. The enemies are trying to get as close to me as they can, which happens to be on the other side of this wall. You can even hear the Leathernecks. Now that most of the bodyblockers are outside, we just carefully maneuver around whoever is left and skedaddle. OK, just one more big obstacle, and it’s a bit of a weird one. Take a look. Yeah I have no idea why you can jump over this guy, they’re too tall to jump normally. Maybe it’s the ledge next to him? Either way, jumping him makes it easy to get past and finish the level.
