  13. UPDATE 11/11/15 - THIS WOULD BE GREAT FUNFACT TO KNOW ABOUT AS IF WE DID DEVELOPED TO THE LEVEL OF THE PALACE I would BE QUITE QUICK TO REVIEW THE NEWLYHAD NEWLYWEDS, IF ONLY WE WOULD HAVE THE SERVICE THAT THEY HAVE PROVIDED.

  15. I would be lying if I said that not a piece of food at the The Palmerston has gone unfilled. If nothing else, it is a great restaurant in need of a renovation and the newness of the parma makes it that much more appealing. It wouldn’t be the Leinster on the left, but definitely the Palmerston.

  17. On the way to the pub to pick up the menu for our visit, I noticed two things, first, it was a pretty busy place. As one might expect, not taking into account the great range of beers available (including some not so great) it was definitely a crowd pleasers. Second, it was the first to start at the new year and go for the following year. This was no biggie as we were getting our food.

  21. As anyone who has been to an RSL knows, it is all business. There are lots of great reasons for going to an RSL, but this is the first one I can honestly say we have dabbled in. I will get to some pros and cons from there, but first let me say it - The Palmerston is one of the nicest looking pubs I’ve been to in quite a long time.
  22.
  23. It looks terrific, well maintained, with a massive beer garden, gorgeous setting, state of the art soundproof booths, plenty of standing height seating but most of all a massive parma. If I were to do the same review at a pub in a city like Melbourne’s Docklands I’d be out to lunch before I left, so this was a pretty good deal.

  25. We took our seats, perused our menu and placed our orders. The pub itself looked absolutely gorgeous, massive outdoor dining area, gorgeous beer garden and the perfect size for a sports bar or boathouse.
