She feels a bit awkward when she can see the pity on people's face when they ask about her parents (mum especially) and get the truth. She's not angry, just a bit awkward. She lives with her dad and her brother (who's 2 years younger than her) (her mum left or died or anything, your choice, right after she had the little brother). She's been living in Australia since she was 3 and just came back recently. She still speaks Korean very well and she has an Australian accent when speaking English. Her school life is alright, with just a few little bumps along the way as she could never find genuine friends until her current friends from Australia. Even though she came back to Korea, she's still friends with them and she also has a few friends in Korea.

Personality: she's an ambivert. she's very bright and to outsiders who see her act, they think she acts like a five-year-old, but once you get to know her and you want to have a serious conversation with her, she'd immediately turn into a wise 50-year-old, always giving really good advice. She has a lot of insight and is very smart, both academic wise and life wise. She's very clumsy and always hurts herself. She doesn't try to start drama and if someone is to start drama with her, she'd try to avoid it and be nice. But if she can't, then she'd go all the way to sort it out in a very mature way that actually angers the other person. She takes criticism and jokes that may seem very offensive to others very well. She loves to prank people and has a very good sense of humour. She uses sarcasm more than she realises and she'd always laugh it off so it won't offend the other person. Chanwoo (love rival) is really close to Danbi and that makes him secretly jealous. He volunteers to take care of Danbi when she's hurt or sick. Sometimes he'd get to, sometimes Chanwoo takes care of her instead. He joins Danbi with her pranks and she'd join him with his pranks.
