  7.  Chapter I - Section A - Office Secretary
  9.  - Office secretaries serve an important role here at RCS. Their main task is to assist students and guests at the main office, however
  10.  other various tasks include but are not limited to: monitoring students, assisting administrators, and substituting for classes. There
  11.  should always be one secretary in the main office during school hours.
  13.  Chapter I, Section B - Teacher's Assistant
  15.  - Teacher's Assistants have a critical job of assisting teachers and working with students in the classroom. Assisting can mean doing
  16.  tasks such as explaining the lesson, working with students one on one, and even keeping the classroom to a peaceful learning
  17.  environment. They may even substitute for a class when a teacher is absent.
  19.  Chapter I, Section C - Teacher
  21.  - Teachers have one of the most crucial jobs here at RCS, they have the responsibility of making sure each and every one of their
  22.  students leaves their class with a full understanding of what they were taught. Teachers should show up every day with a great
  23.  attitude and confidence in their skills and teaching ability, if you don't have confidence in your own skills how can you teach?
  25.   Chapter I, Section C Subsection 1 - Weekly Lesson Plan
  27.   - Your weekly lesson plan (Mon - Fri) should be completed on the previous week or weekend. Once compelted turn in your lesson plan to (blank) by Sunday night.
  29.  Chapter I Section C Subsection 2 - Student Leaving Class
  31.  - A student may only leave class if they're called out, need to go to the front office, or need to see the guidance counselor.
  32.  Students may also leave to go to the library if their classwork is done and there is no instruction going on.
  34.  Chapter I, Section C Subsection 3 - Student Behavior Issues
  36.  - Teachers may enforce up to ten classroom rules that don't exist in the code of conduct already. They may also send misvehaving
  37.  students to detention during class, after school, during break period, may even call the main office for assistance.
  39.  Chapter I, Section D - Campus Security
  41.  -Campus Security are in charge of keeping the school grounds safe from violent offenders but also deal with extremely disruptive
  42.  students or guests, handle disputes between two or more individuals, and assist staff when needed.
  44.  Chapter I, Section D Subsection 1 - Detain
  46.  -If a security officer witnesses or believes a student violated the student code of conduct that officer may detain that student and
  47.  escort them to the assistant principals office.
  49.  Chapter I, Section D Subsection 2 - Taser
  51.  -Security officers may use their taser if a student has a weapon or student fails to follow instructions after being warned several
  52.  times.
  54.  Chapter I, Section D Subsection 3 - Abuse
  56.  - Abuse of tools or power will not be tolerated by the administration of RCS. If you are caught abusing you will be suspended or
  57.  terminated.
  59.  Chapter I, Section E - Guidance Counselor
  61.  -Guidance counselors are a necessity at RCS because struggling students need someone to talk to. Counselors help and guide students in
  62.  academic and social problems by conversing one on one in a private environment. Counselors may have other tasks such as monitoring
  63.  students and substituting for classes.
  65.  Chapter I, Section E Subsection 1 - Meeting With Students
  67.  - Counselors may meet with students in their office before school, during break hour, after school, and may even pull students out of
  68.  class if they need to talk to them.
  70.  Chapter I, Section F - Specialist
  72.  - This rank is for someone who is very skilled and or experienced in a specific field.
  74.  Chapter I, Section G - Administrator
  76.  - Administrators have various tasks depending on their assigned job. Administrators may also discipline student offenders.
  78.  Chapter I, Section H - Assistant Principal
  80.  - Each assistant principal is assigned a student group number that they're in charge of. They may only manage and discipline students in their assigned student group number. If another assistant principal is absent and cannot deal with a student in their group, the vice principal or principal may step in as acting group leader. (1 - 4).
  82.  Chapter I, Section H Subsection 1 - Student Offender
  84.  - When a student is caught misbehaving, or "written up" by a staff member they are considered an offender and must meet with their assigned assistant principal for discipline. AP's should call student offenders to their office or pull them out of class.
  86.  Chapter I, Section H Subsection 2 - Disciplinary Actions
  88.  - For guilty student offenders they can be punished with the following:
  90.  1. In School Suspension (1-14 days)
  91.  2. Out of School Suspension (1-14 days)
  92.  3. Before school, break period, or after school detention
  93.  4. Expelled, must be approved by vice principal, principal, or Founder
  95.  - Students can receive multiple disciplinary actions at one time (i.e 3 days OSS then 1 day ISS when they return to school.)
  97. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐈 - 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
  99. - Staff members must arrive to work on time everyday!
  101.  Chapter II, Section A - Arriving to Work
  103.  - All staff should arrive to work at 4:50pm cst ten minutes before school starts (5:00pm cst). Punch in at the time clock located in
  104.  the main office hallway with you assigned pin number.
  106.  Chapter II, Section B - Absences
  108. - All staff members are allowed one unexcused absence per week and an unlimited amount of excused absences. Please notify administration that you will be absent in the inactive-notices discord channel.
  110. Chapter II, Section C - Leaving Work
  112. - Staff members may not leave until ten minutues after the final bell.
  114. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐈𝐈 - 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
  116.  - If a student is misbehaving by violating the student code of conduct they can be detained by security and sent to the assistant
  117.  principals office or can be written up by any staff member. All write ups are automatically sent to the administration and will be
  118.  dealt with.
