  1. Once upon a time there was a little boy who lived in a poor family in a house at the foot of a mountain.
  2.
  3. It is said that there is a well at the top with the cleanest water in the region. Since the family was poor, they decided to send the little boy up the mountain with a bucket to recieve some water. The boy had to agree, since it was his parents that had told him to do it.
  4.
  5. Later that day, the boy took the bucket and started walking up the hill. On the first bend, he saw a camp, it looked like a bandit camp. The boy had no choice but to try and pass it. He walked up to the front door, it seemed abandoned so he squeezed through a hole he saw to the side. When he got in, he saw some smoldering sticks, like a fire had just been put out. He walked up to the stick and kicked them, then suddenly an arrow appeared at his feet. he quickly turned raound and seen some big men standing behind him, he wimpered and turned to run.
  6.
  7. The big men follower after him, shooting arrows from their bows. When they reached the other side, the boy looked over to the gate. While he was looking at it, the gate smashed down and some trolls popped around the corner.
  8.
  9. The trolls were tall, green and hairy with thick tusks on their faces. The bandits all stopped and stared, most of them turned around and ran away, the rest panicked and started shooting arrows at the trolls, the trolls skin was too thick and the arrows didn't penetrate. One of the troll picked up a nearby log and threw it at the bandits, they all fell down like pins in a bowling game. The trolls all laughed and one of them noticed the little boy in the corner, the boy whimpered again and tried to run back down the mountain but his path was blocked by a hair green foot, it was a troll foot. The troll in his path picked him up and said:
  10.
  11. "Where are you running off to?" said the deep voice.
  12. "I... I don't want any trouble, please let me go!" said the little boy.
  13. "Calm down, we're not the angry trolls, we're the friendly trolls." he said, putting the little boy down on the floor, gently.
  14. "You really won't hurt me?" said the scared little boy.
  15. "I promise, we won't hurt you. We've been trying to get rid of those bandits for awhile, we are annoyed with them cutting down our tree's." said the troll.
  16. "So you're tree trolls? My parents told me stories about them and they also said they were extinct." said the boy, slowly getting calmer.
  17.
  18. The troll laughed at the little boy.
  19. "We're not extinct, we only live in the mountain tree's now. They're much fresher than the ones on ground level" said the troll.
  20. "Oh, well, I'm going up this mountain to get the cleanest water in the region." said the boy, showing the troll his bucket tied to his trousers.
  21. "I can assure you that the water is clean but it's very hard to get, there are loads of dangerous creatures living on this mountain." said the troll.
  22. "Me and my friends could help you walk up a bit, to save some of your energy for the things you encounter up there." he said, lifting the little boy on to his shoulders and marching off up the hill.
  23.
  24. An hour later, they reached a part of the mountain without any tree's.
  25.
  26. "We can't go any further than this, we need to stay close to the tree's or we won't be able to breath." he said.
  27. "That's fine, I can walk the rest." said the little boy, jumping off the troll.
  28. "I didn't get your name, Mr. Troll."
  29. "My name is Zhakn'harl." said the troll.
  30. "Nice to meet you, Zhakn'harl, my name is James." said the boy, reaching out to shake Zhakn's hand and waved goodbye to him as he walked down the hill.
  31.
  32. The boy turned around and started walking up the hill, when the trolls were out of sight, the boy could still hear deep voices, he thought the trolls were following him untill he got around the corner, what he saw was terrifying. It was a huge group of large, red and hairy trolls with spiked clubs and necklaces with skulls, some of them even had blood on them.
  33.
  34. The boy knew they were trouble, and he did remember what Zhakn said about the angry trolls. The boy had no choice but to go into a nearby cave and wait for the trolls to leave. After about ten minutes of hiding in the cave, he looked outside to find that the trolls had set up a camp, they were going to be there for awhile.
  35.
  36. The boy decided he would have to go deeper into the cave if he wanted to escape, he had to find an exit. He walked around in complete darkness untill sudddenly he saw a flash of light as if someone had lit a torch and turned it off quickly.
  37.
  38. The little boy went to investigate, to his surprise, there wasn't anyone there, well, that he could see, atleast. He walked closer then suddenly he was almost burnt by a blaze of fire, it had just missed him as he jumped back and slipped on a rock, there was a loud thump then suddenly some enourmes gold eyes appeared in the dark and the cave iluminated. The boy was paralyzed in fea, when the room iluminated, an enourmes figure appeared in the cave, the figure took up almost the entire cave.
