I met Lynne through an environmental advocacy initiative that my peers and I started in my freshman year. As it being my first experience as a student advocate I was incredibly inspired by Lynne’s passion for bringing student voices to the table. Her genuine interest in student’s wellbeing and connection to her community has been a formative influence on my confidence and character. As I move past my MCPS days, I remember to channel her enthusiasm for service and compassion for the diverse experiences that shape our community in my own advocacy journey. There is no doubt that Lynne will work to meet the needs of our county so that every student has the optimal chance for success.
