  1. Liara would stand before Cinderfall, her outfit a slight bit less than normal, reduced to exposed bits of skin here and there, where markings would need be for the ritual, a handful of non magi requested to handle painting the markings for the Myr, and the mages working to animate and awaken the Lodestones.
  2.
  3. Those lodestones of which getting markings painted upon the stone pathed locale they were arround, the water pool of the lodestone to the north, water, being the only truly troubling blockage to those efforts. "AH, good, you've gatherred here today. As we have gatherred the lodestones, so too have our elementalists gatherred. Today we awaken the Lodestones, after fifteen years and many losses. The lifeswork I've committed for your benefit has finally reached its dawn!" The Myr was warmly calling to her people, the magi of Cinderfall.
  4. (Liara Myr)
  5. Var'Thuul had lumbered into the town slowly, having been asked to help with the lodestones before. The lightning dragon walking to the center of town, to a place he didn't like. There were too many people for his liking but he still owed Liara for raising him. He figured she would get his service unquestionably for ten years, the amount of time it took her to raise him to independance.
  6.
  7. The drake saw the lodestones gathered and Liara being painted up. While Var'Thuul wasn't only elemental magic, he was still able to help with fire and lightning magic. He had quite a bit of power backing him up as well. He looked at the gathered Magi, curious as to how they were going to do this.
  8. (Var' Thuul)
  9. Comes from the Garden to see what was going on in the center of town. Shockingly Raja would see a bunch of Lodestones and even those rings he worked on with Bevolt for Liara. Moving closer, he'd poke her side.
  10.
  11. "How exactly do we go about activating these lodestones Liara? We sort of just channel the right elements at them or is there a different trick we're going to use?"
  12. (Raja Nagano-Draconis)
  13. Ancillia would be ready for the ritual. She doubted she was the only wind mage in Cinderfall... But she was probably one of the more powerful. She'd stand by the wind lodestone. Ready to follow Liara's instructions to complete the ritual. Right now she had no idea what to do... But she was here to help.
  14.
  15. Her own wind magic... She hoped it would be enough. It probably would... While she didn't have much confidence in herself. She had to admit she was stronger then she liked to believe... Even if she wouldn't admit it herself.
  16. (Ancillia Trigg)
  17. Bevolt looked towards Liara with with bit of a confused expression, preparing to approach her and ask her quesiton covering the activation of the lodestones only to be beaten by her younger sibling.
  18.
  19. SMirking she slowly crossed her arms, only to observe the situation in silence for time being, curious of the response from the leader.
  20. (Bevolt Nagano-Draconis)
  21. The time had finally come to complete a lifetimes worth of work. And like usual Marina was smack dab in the middle of helping someone else do something. A large smile on her face. Like most of them she'd put her life on the line to help gather these Lodestones. It was only fitting that she helped with the ritual that would awaken them. For the benefit of both Liara and the whole of Cinderfall.
  22.
  23.
  24. Marina stands amongst the mass of people that had gathered there that day. It was nice to see so many willing participants. She listens to Liara's speech; already ready to begin work and do whatever it was that the Firekeeper needed of them. Today was going to change everything.
  25.
  26. (Marina Seraph Azar)
  27. The boy returned from his spar and to the plaza of Cinderfall. Many people were gathered and something serious seemed to be happening. There were lots of Lodestones and Eris didn't really understand this much but he considered himself a bit experienced! The boy wanted to assist however he could with his knowledge of water magic!
  28. (Eris Erimos)
  29. Hearing Liara's call he rushed to the group surrounding her edgared to assist. Though he hadn't offically joined their ranks, he knew he was close too. If anything he thought that helping Liara with her ritual would seal the deal, or so he thought.
  30.
  31. "Jadeite! At your sevice!", he said to her edgarly." I'm willing to help any way I can!, he said to her with a friendly smile.
  32. (Jadeite Winter)
  33. It seems that Liara's ritual on the Lodestones would finally happen, he knew of the elements and decided to attend as well.
  34.
  35. He then introduced himself to participate in the ritual, Liara would still choose those who would represent each element, Proxy would then show those in which he has proficiency: Fire and Water.
  36.
  37. "I introduce myself to participate."
  38.
  39. Proxy then holds water that goes from the floor up to his waist, while holding flames in his hands, showing the elements on which he had proficiency.
  40.
  41. "I can conduct both water and fire, it will be a pleasure to be able to represent any of them."
  42. (Proxy)
  43. Liara stood in the center, slowly getting painted as the magi of Cinderfall got into position for their duty. Each of them even chosing to introduce themselves and speak up. Blue eyes of the Myr peering about seeing each of the lodestones being stood before by each of their compatriate magi. a pair at each, morethan a pair even, some having four or five, while others only had three or even two, needless to say, no element here actually had but a single magi.
  44.
  45. "Welcome to all of you." The last brush stroke lead to a circle on the grounds beneath each lodestone and even beneath Liara. "Today we awaken the lodestones, and will endow the primal elements into me, after which the people, you are free to seek usage of the lodestones for projects your own." The blue eyes of the Myr closed slightly as she'd nod to them all. "When the last bit of paint is done on my body, I want for you to start channeling your elements chosen."
  46. (Liara Myr)
  47. Ancillia would nod. She probably could have helped with the paint if they were putting runes on her... But she was needed here at the wind Lodestone. She'd start channeling her wind magic, letting it flow around her. She wouldn't start on the lodestone until Liara gave the OK. But she would have her magic ready to go...
  48.
  49. Looking around, she'd nod to the others on the lodestones. The ones she knew at least. It wasn't quite as exciting as her robot... But it was something. A definite advantage for Cinderfall.
  50. (Ancillia Trigg)
  51. Marina naturally had chosen fire. It was the Lodestone that she had a connection with in the sense that it was the one that she had helped quest for. It was also natural for her to want fire of course. After all it was her most prominent element. The Drakanite would watch the people painting onto Liara's body. After which it seemed the ritual would be simple.
  52.
  53. Channeling her chosen element into the Lodestone. That was simple enough when it came to her. She knew well enough for her. Mana control was a simple task. This ritual would probably be a lot easier than the process of actually collecting the stones had been. At least she hoped it would be.
  54.
  55. (Marina Seraph Azar)
  56. Var'Thuul looks at her, wondering how the event would go with all of the elements being channeled into her. He simply placed a claw on the lodestone as he sat there, ready to start whenever she said to start. He was hoping to get this over with so that he could leave the staring sight of the towns people.
  57.
  58. The dragon had a lot of power to channel into the lodestone, the dragon starting to near adult hood. He was extremely proficient with his lightning magic as well, so there was more than enough power between him and the other person that seemed to move near the lightning lodestone to help.
  59. (Var' Thuul)
  60. Guess that is a yes to start shooting fire at the lodestone before him.
  61.
  62. All that he needed to do was wait for the sginal along with everyone else. Gazing around, he'd see a few familiar faces, but Kaia wasn't amongst them. Knowing her she was probably back home getting use to her currentl condition. Looking a bit down, he'd try and put on his usual cheery face.
  63.
  64. Slapping his cheeks, Raja would takes a deep breath and perk up. "Ready when you are Marina." While Liara would be getting the rest of her painting done on her body, the boy would be controling the flow of mana within him and hinto his hands. If he was going to channel his flames into the lodestone, he was going to overdo it at least.
  65. (Raja Nagano-Draconis)
  66. Liara explains things, and the situation is clear. Proxy stared at the circles beneath the lodestones and Liara's.
  67.
  68. * Interesting to do a life project this way, 20 years, this is too much, but good thing she is helping Cinderfall and others in this way. *
  69.
  70. Proxy then makes a nod, as a sign of understanding.
  71.
  72. He then stood beside the water lodestone, his chosen element, preparing himself, just waiting for Liara's signal to begin channeling his magic into the element of water.
  73. (Proxy)
  74. Sighing the drakantie looked towards Liara, soon approaching the earth lodestone, slowly positioning her claw close to it before starting to gather her mana around her palm, preparing to transform and channel it towards the crystal before her while waiting for Liaras mark, standing in place with her eyes closing as she awaited for the mark.
  75. (Bevolt Nagano-Draconis)
  76. Eris watched Liara be painted and looked towards the older magi to get an idea of what he was supposed to be doing right now. They were all channeling their mana and Eris would do so too! He stood near the water lodestone since that's what he was the most experienced with. He channeled his mana waiting for Liara's signal like the others.
  77. (Eris Erimos)
  78. Listened to Liara as she gave them all instructions that would further the process of awakening the lodestones. He began changling his energy throughtout his arms. As he did, sparks cof lighting could be seen poping from his darken tone skin, luminating the air around him as it began traveling to his the palms of both his hands.
  79.
  80. As the energy built up in his palms it would begin to form smal balls of concentrated electricty. Growing in size with every second that passed by until he was content with the gathered energy. He then turned his attention to Liara as he waited for her to give the go.
  81. (Jadeite Winter)
  82. Liara would close her eyes as one final symbol was painted upon her chest between the peaks of her exposed clavicles her body still decent, even if the normal hoisery and long sleeves were naught on her person, After the painting was complete, once more the ground painters would spread the shavings of a mixture of steel and mythril on the freshly painted lines on the grounds. Perhaps to act as the conduit for mana.
  83.
  84. By now the magi would have begun, and the Myr would merely settle down into a seated posture, the soles of her feet pressing together, and each hand coming to rest at small circles inlet into where the circle arround her form was. It was to begin.the soft thrum of her mana was audible, albeit only to a slight degree, the time to begin spurring on the Lodestones was now.
  85. (Liara Myr)
  86. Var'Thuul looks at Liara as she finishes getting painted and the lines were given metal shavings to increase the mana conductivity. He keeps his claw on the lodestone as the other person prepares the mana outside of his body. The dragon shaking his head slightly at the waste of mana. He would then begin sparking around his body.
  87.
  88. His mana would quickly fill the lodeston with lightning energy, the dragon having massive amounts to share. He was hoping when they were finished, he would get to keep the lightning lodestone for himself, the lightning dragon wanting to add it to his hoard.
  89. (Var' Thuul)
  90. Watching as Liara finish the painting the woman would seat herself down in the center of the ritual. When she'd slowly place her hands to the ground, he'd take that as the sign to start doing his bit and would start to channel his mana from raw energy into flames in the center of his palms now.
  91.
  92. Bright flames would come spouting out of his hands as he'd thrust them forward and his green scales would cover his hands. If fire was what was needed, he was going to give it, so his body was going to need something to take the heat. The flames started red but qould quickly turn white as they'd grow in intensity, causing his scales to warm his skin from the heat.
  93. (Raja Nagano-Draconis)
  94.
  95. "Right Raja" Marina says. He was the one going to help her with this it seemed. She was ok with that though she didn't really think she'd need the help. The more the merrier though so no complaints from the woman. The less power she used the less exhausted she'd be after the fact. It seemed the painting was done which meant that it was time to begin.
  96.
  97. Marina nods and holds out her hands summoning mana into her palms. She shapes this mana with her will power and emotion until fire flickered in her palms. She turns toward the Lodestone and pours all her feelings of hope and rage at the same time into the fire. Soon a powerful Flamethrower burst forth, bathing the lodestone in her magic.
  98.
  99. (Marina Seraph Azar)
  100. Ancillia would start. Her wind would flow towards and into the lodestone. Her mana would flow the way it was supposed to as part of the ritual. She'd follow along with whatever instructions she needed to follow to awaken the wind lodestone. It'd be difficult on her own, and so far into her state... But she wouldn't give up. She was needed for this.
  101.
  102.
  103. (Ancillia Trigg)
  104. The signal was not as Proxy expected, but there they were, the circles began to glow.
  105.
  106. Proxy then begins to emanate his water magic, making circles, similar to water snakes, emerge from his palms, as a torrent of water comes out of his feet, covering his whole body, then the water snakes begin to go toward Lodestone, interlacing and touching the lodestone as a way of transmitting its element to the lodestone.
  107.
  108. He closed his eyes and only concentrated on transferring as much as he could to the lodestone, the torrents of water intensifying, and his water snakes seemed to become more agitated, impelling more mana to the lonestone.
  109.
  110. Proxy was glad he could help the village with that, at least there would not be an oppressive system to cause chaos, he had made a good choice by going to Cinderfall.
  111.
  112. He also wanted to impress Ancillia and Bevolt who were also participating in the ritual, perhaps if they were impressed, he could show a little more of his potential and grow inside the MagiTech.
  113. (Proxy)
  114. Liara was finished being painted and shavings of metal were put on the ground. Eris assumed that that was a signal to finally start. He didn't have much of a capacity for mana but he would assist the person with him and in turn Cinderfall as much as he could!
  115.
  116. After channeling his mana in front of him, he converted it into water and it wrapped around his hands. The boy placed his hands on the lodestone and started to transfer the water from himself into the lodestone.
  117. (Eris Erimos)
  118. As he looked towards Jadeitie watched as the circles aroundLiara began bright, lighting up the area around her as if signaling their start. Jadeite the returned his attention to the lodestone designate for him and would push the orbs of lighting into the stone as the dragon had did before him. As he did, both his hand would lay on the stones once they had fully disapated. He was not yet done. as his palms touched the lodestones he would continue pushing his mana into into the stone pouring his mana into it until told other-wise.
  119. (Jadeite Winter)
  120. Glancing towards Liara, observing her for a moment before finally deciding to start channeling her earth enegy towards the lodestone with slight scowl, powering it and allowing the ritual to move on from there.
  121. (Bevolt Nagano-Draconis)
