"I really don't understand, Marco. Why'd you ask me out? I thought you liked Jackie?" Star asked while narwhal blasting a chicken monster. "Are you trying that jealousy thing that Janna talks about all the time? She says it doesn't really work if the other party is oblivious."
Marco does a split kick, leaving his shoe marks on the face of two oncoming attacker monsters. "Star that's really rude to your feelings. As your bestie, it's my job to make sure no one does that to you. But as a friend, not your hero. I've already learned my lesson, multiple times."
"I was mad, haha." Star snickers. "Well what's in the past is in the- SUPER SUNSHINE CUPCAKE EXPLOSION!!!" Star yells as she unleashes the power of her wand on the monsters.
All of the monsters are wiped out right quick. Some are stuck in brick walls and wooden fences. Buff Frog is hanging off a tree branch. Ludo was only returning to the ground after 30 seconds of airtime. Luckily he landed on a hiding lobster monster, who seems unscathed.
Ludo slowly stands up and opens up a portal with the dimensional scissors. "Alright everyone. Get back to the lair. If you can't stand, find your travel buddy and have them carry you through." He glares at Star. "Next time princess!"
After all the other monsters pass through the portal, Ludo starts to go through. But his scissors are quickly whipped and taken away from him. The Karate boy with his striped green belt is showing the biggest grin, while the scissors dangle off his belt. Ludo is quickly drop kicked by the Mewni Princess before he can finish yelling out a "WHAT?!?!"
The duo high-five and then start laughing. Marco starts twirling around the scissors and heading homebound. Star just stands there.
"So you actually want to date me, Marco?" The curious girl asks, whilst gnawing on her scepter. "I know I'm tired of Oskar and just thinking about him. But don't you think this could ruin our friendship if things go south?"

Marco clears his throat. Ferg and Alfonso appear out of nowhere and pull out a big jazz Base and a brass Trumpet respectively. "Star you're my closest friend. I love just being around you. You're so much fun and energetic. Let me explain in a way you'd get me." Lover boy snaps his fingers and his two buddies start playing.

Star runs up to Marco and kisses him. She immediately pulls out of the smooch and sings along. Making sure to grab hold singing boy's right hand with her left.

Both singers huff, Alfonso and Ferg high five each and walk up to the love stricken two.
"Man that was aaaaaamaaaaaaazing Marco and you guys!" Star then looks at the guys with a puzzled look. "Why are you two here anyways?"
Ferg responds. "Marco told us to follow you two until he gets the nerve to confess. We were getting paid per hour of following." Marco goes up and hands them both multiple sets of $20s. "Kinda bummed he did it. We were making mad cash waiting for past couple weeks."
Alfonso adds a "Yeah!" and keeps to his smile.
