[once he's awake, angrily] What in the *hell* were you thinking? You thought that you could just sneak out of bed to go work when I asked you *specifically* not to? That you would be able to stay awake with god knows how many energy drinks and get back into bed before I noticed?

Yea, you thought you were being *sooooo* sneaky, didn't you? [mockingly] "Surely the *6th* time's the charm! Surely she won't catch me *this* time!"

[hurt] Hun, it hurts when you lie to me like this. I don't ask you to rest because I want you to fall behind on your work, I ask you because you are running yourself into the ground. It's like you're being pressed against a cheese grater.

Yes you are! You barely eat! I've had to start making your lunch which I know you barely touch because you've been resorting to the vending machine for your food.

I *know* you have because I *know* you. You are a sucker for chips and redbull which, by the way, does not constitute a meal.

[softens] Yea, I know you're sorry. But, that kind of doesn't help at this point. You've done this so many times that I've started to believe that you *can't* take breaks.

Make it up to me? Well... I want you to call out tomorrow.

Yes, *another* day of rest. You look beaten to hell, hun. You *need* it.

Anything else? Well, I want you to go back to sleep.

Nope, I'm not going to let you finish what you're working on. Knowing you, you're going to say "15 minutes" which will turn into 3 and a half hours.

You *literally* did that last week.

Well, it's kind of hard to trust you when you've broken it so many times. Believe me, I'd love to be able to leave you alone to rest because I know that sometimes you like being left alone, but for right now I think it's just best for us to snuggle up together.
