  1. [01:23:26] Isabella Valentine exclaims, "Rilla!"
  2. [01:23:32] Rilla Lithia-Brubeck asks, "Hm?"
  3. [01:23:32] Isabella Valentine says, "Theres trouble."
  4. [01:23:36] Rilla Lithia-Brubeck asks, "Where?"
  5. [01:23:39] Isabella looks beaten up
  6. (Isabella Valentine)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [01:23:44] Isabella Valentine says, "The hospital."
  10. [01:23:59] Rilla Lithia-Brubeck says, "Alright. Stay here, do not leave the square. I'll be back when I can"
  11. [01:24:01] Isabella Valentine says, "Two people came in and one of them attacked, I managed to run."
  12. [01:26:32] The man would let out a tired sigh, lacking any sort of emotions in his expression. His dead, flaxen eyes would stare at the two.
  13. (Ezton Xizoh)
  14. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15.
  16. [01:26:56] Without even a second glance, the Gehennan man who lunged forward was sidestepped with relative ease. A coward like tactic befitting the savages. Why isn't this surprising?
  17.
  18. "An unknowing thief, assaulting a hospital during a war. I've heard about you alright!"
  19.
  20. The man isn't easily caught up to, no. They are far, far faster than whoever this meager thief thinks them to be. With Knives in hand and a look of death, the purple haired former scout prepares to call for a flare. He's not even going to think it twice. With a pull, a pierce and a pin?
  21.
  22. The Flare is lit. A call to arms at the southern border. There should still be plenty of guards nearby to deal with Gehennan rabble rousers.
  23.
  24. "What is it with people and assaulting hospitals anyways?!"
  25. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [01:29:01] If he would flee...then he would aim at his friend!
  29.
  30. Quickly switching targets, Enlazar pursued after the approaching woman. His blade drawn and gripped it while his lifeless cold blue eyes shifted to her.
  31. (Enlazar Pasado)
  32. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. [01:31:22] Ezton Xizoh says, "Before you attack her Enla, consider leaving with me."
  35. [01:31:39] Ezton Xizoh says, "I don't want to waste any more energy dealing with lowly Bulwarks."
  36. [01:31:44] Enlazar glances at him.
  37. (Enlazar Pasado)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39.
  40. [01:31:59] Enlazar Pasado says, "This chance won't arise for awhile."
  41. [01:32:03] Enlazar Pasado asks, "Are you sure?"
  42.
  43. [01:33:07] An assault at the nearby woman? No, no, no. This wasn't acceptable.
  44.
  45. The man stood in the way, knives at the ready and flashing all number of gear on him. Caltrops, throwing knives, even small time explosives. They want to pick a fight, a fight they'll get for sure.
  46.
  47. "Where do you think YOU'RE going!?"
  48.
  49. The man stood in the way of Rilla, ever so brazenly with knives brandished. He had the speed to flee, but he also had the speed to very, very easily catch up. This isn't happening that easily.
  50.
  51. "That's very damn impolite."
  52. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [01:44:50] Suffice to say, there wouldn't be any running. This man was choosing to attack her? In her home? Her hospital? Her sanctum? And not simply that, but in the middle of a war when her time was better spent healing the wounded and not dealing with a group of savages?
  56.
  57. "What is going on here!?"
  58.
  59. Rilla's voice boomed out, anger very clear in her voice. As it rang out, undead would appear from the hospital, quite suddenly becoming active at her approach. Holy lightning and sounds would echo through the air as they surrounded her.
  60.
  61. "You... Savages! Monsters! You would attack a city of wounded? A city of healing? I..."
  62.
  63. Rilla's anger boiled to the surface, strong enough that she couldn't even get the words out... This was different then her usual demeanor, nothing one would have expected from Rilla if they hadn't seen it before. Wilhelm especially would find that something had changed in Rilla...
  64.
  65. "Well. I... have been looking for others to join the guard. Perhaps you two can be the first..."
  66. (Rilla Lithia-Brubeck)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [01:52:27] Colour would fade from the land as the Lord of Darkness invoked his legendary familial art. The overwhelming feeling of despair and emptiness would cause the enemies to feel sluggish and crippled. Cackling, hollow white electricity would flicker around Ezton's core, occasionally turning black from the rage potion.
  70.
  71. Despite consuming the bottled wrath, his emotions would be nearly non-existent. A dead gaze would set onto the two, viewing them as nothing but a feast. Cracking his neck, the Champion of Blood drew forth his staff, black fires enshrouding the two, protecting them.
  72.
  73. He spoke no words, for his actions would do the talking for him. His pupils dilated, but that was the only change in his body.
  74.
  75. Whatever he controlled... it was truly ungodly.
  76. (Ezton Xizoh)
  77. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  78.
  79. [02:27:11] As Rilla and Willhelm fell under the might of the Champion and the swordsman, an intervention arrived. They had managed to capture a necromancer, and so they'd need to fight for their freedom now. He'd never dissipate his power, his staff pointed at the other two.
  80.
  81. He truly wanted to feast on them, but the necromancer was the main priority right now. Without hesitation, he prepared for another battle. It was a shame that the enemies kept hitting the Lord of Darkness first, since Enlazar was a great threat when left alone.
  82.
  83. "Vaj'ra has told me lots about you. Let's see if you can manage to save your friend."
  84.
  85. His pupils dilated as he focused on his new prey now.
  86. (Ezton Xizoh)
  87. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  88.
  89. [02:28:35] Enlazar's rage was let loose for once. He decimated Valmasia's territory. Scars covered the earth where they lashed out on the pair. He never looked more sated then in battle. His eyes burned like azure flames and were full of life. His face near expressionless.
  90.
  91. His energy pluming out like blue fire erupted further as the battle carried on. Swinging the gigant blade with absolute ease.
  92.
  93. As Wilhelm went down, Ezton followed suit. The plight of his kin came to him and empowered him further. He had to finish it.
  94.
  95. His energy extended out to his greatsword as he took a stance. In that moment, Enlazar dashed and cut down the girl. As he went to covet her as she was down another pair arrived to quickly prevent them!
  96.
  97. Once more Enlazar would engage in another fight. He would claim his prize.
  98. (Enlazar Pasado)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [02:30:11] Wilhelm was fast. Plenty, plenty fast. They were pretty quick to open fire with purgatorial flame, but Wilhelm was faster.
  102.
  103. Much, much faster.
  104.
  105. ...
  106.
  107. Just not very durable in the slightest. Even as he slashes in full violent abaddon towards both of these Gehennan savages, leaving sparks of fire betwixt them from the sheer levels of speed that he charged into the fray with, he can't withstand the heat given how close he is to it. The lack of armor is also evidenced, for it'd only slow him down.
  108.
  109. It helps that he is very quick to dodge most of what comes his way.
  110.
  111. Most.
  112.
  113. Not everything.
  114.
  115. "Gwaah!"
  116.
  117. His lack of durability in damage was evident. He didn't hit nearly as hard as he needed to and Rilla paid the price for it. With one last slam into the chest, the man was sent crashing into the nearby rock walls of the cliff, with a screamof pain and a bloodied expression. Everything hurt. Everything hurt very bad. The woes of lacking actual combat experience and in stamina showed. He was injured, but he would live as he fell to the ground, still smoking and still in very serious pain, unable to keep up the onslaught. His breathing was heavy, his movements were ragged. He failed miserably.
  118.
  119. This is why he wasn't a front line combatant.
  120.
  121. Anyone who'd arrive nearby could see the sloppy mess of combat that Wilhelm was at the time.
  122. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [02:30:12] LOOC - Ezton Xizoh: (gonna use the washroom brb
  126. [02:30:37] Enlazar Pasado whispers something.
  127. [02:31:20] Akari followed on after Belle. Only to happen upon a scene, in the middle of Lengsel. Rilla, and Wilhelm were fighting. And it wasn't going well. Rilla was down, and in enemy hands.
  128.
  129. Though, she didn't move to fight. Letting Calie and Shiro to do that. Instead, her eyes locked on the two.
  130.
  131. "Enlazar, and Ezton. One is Atl, the other...I do not know where he stands. Potentially Ezmara." Staring at Enlazar, a sigh escaping from her. Making her way over to Wilhelm, kneeling beside him. "Hey, are you ok?"
  132. (Akari)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134.
  135. [02:32:46] Belle kept insisting that she wanted near the Gehenna border for some annoying reason, even after Akari and Shiro telling her that she wasn't supposed to do it. Why are those kids and teenagers always so eager to go to that part of Agartha? It's literally a Valmasian-killing simulator!
  136.
  137. Seeing that the silver-haired teenager wouldn't give up, she just grabbed her stuff and decided to follow the girl. Since she was leaving their settlement, Calie also decided to came with her, which was only natural at this point. Arriving there, an odd and dangerous scene seemed to be happening. Wilhelm and.. Someone that Shiro didn't know just lost a fight against two Gehennans? Akari was correct, this place can be quite dangerous if you walk alone.
  138.
  139. "Akari, Belle, step out. You both don't have gear to help right now."
  140. Said the woman, holding the Peacebringer and engaging at the two without a second thought. Their deal was to defend Valmasia, and -this- was needed.
  141.
  142. For some reason, this guy seemed to know Vaj'ra. Maybe their third in command had to talk with some of the tribes in order to get to his 'mission'. She raised her eyebrow to the Gehennan, but didn't say a sword. It was time to solve a situation, not to chat.
  143. (Shiro Mayer)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [02:33:42] Calie had rock covering her body, saved by the hair and eyes. She looked like a little golem doll as the olive eyes did glow behind the earthen mask, Vines protuding from behind the Botanist, four in each side of her back for a total of weight, waving softly int he air. As she walked flowers and vegetation would grow in her path, she stayed besides Shiro, looking at the situation
  147.
  148. -A place for the sick and wounded to heal, in peace and without fear of being slaughtered in their weakest state. she then diverged her eyes to the blue haired man -Trully saddening, when you have to prove your strength by attacking weakened people from a Hospital State. she had both her hands resting on her own lap, cupped against the fabric as her muffled voice was almost not audible, but the plants around the place did talk in unison together with Calie, making a soothing and calmin choir that those present could understand.
  149.
  150. As the situation clearly was not getting solved, thick vegetation and trees did grow around the whole place, making the fort look like a jungle, animalistic plants with mouths that oozed acid from their mouths while others had a cloud of spores bubbling around them was only a few of the exotic things that sprouted in battle, the ground shaking violently as the grass bulges, imploding as giant vines are revealed and loons behind Calie meanacingly at the Gehennans. The big sunflower behind her started to spin, producing small little flowers as she began to float, moving around in the breeze as the small flowers followed, she changed directions each time she bounced in puffy flowers laid in the battlefield, it didn't look like the redhead golem was doing anything, and nature just grew around to protect her on their own decision
  151. -I see no choice, but to do a ballroom dance, i cant let Shiro do this alone.
  152.
  153.
  154. (Calie Marie)
  155. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  156.
  157. [02:34:42] I don't get it.
  158.
  159. Akari, Calie, Shiro and Yuki decided to follow the little one. "Just a walk.." She murmured, rubbing the back of her head. The little one didn't understand their motives.
  160.
  161. Once all of them arrived at Lengsel's entrance, Belle's blue hues rested on the group of Gehennans. It didn't take her too long to realise what was going on here. Wilhelm and Rilla were on the ground, defeated. Belle stepped back, the teenager afraid of what's going on.
  162.
  163. She said if something bad occured, she would fight.. But it seems she couldn't follow her words.
  164.
  165. Shiro ordered Belle and Akari to step aside. The little one remained silent and gave a slight nod to the woman, sitting on the grass. Her blue hues would start at them, her hands shaking lightly.
  166. (Belle)
  167. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  168.
  169. [02:36:15] Wilhelm took several superficial injuries. Nothing serious, nothing endangering, but just enough to be slammed out of the fight severely. Knives lay on the ground, with his right hand gripping the left shoulder as he had crashed into the rock side cliff and fell to his knees shortly after. He's badly injured in regards of pride and body, but nothing a lot of rest, ointment and bandages can't fix. The second the nearby woman approached, the agitated failure of a fighter snarled and pointed forward.
  170.
  171. "Forget about me, help THEM! Save Rilla!"
  172.
  173. He couldn't move in this state, but there was a fight to be had. Can Shiro and Calie handle this?
  174. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  175. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  176.
  177. [02:36:27] {combat} Enlazar Pasado has been defeated by Shiro Mayer! They're unable to continue fighting.
  178.
  179. [02:49:04] That was not a fight to defeat the Gehennans, it was a fight to save Rilla. She didn't know the woman, to be honest, but it was the right thing to do. The fight did last longer than Shiro expected, both the warriors seemed to be very experienced, even if they did commit one or two mistakes in a fight, but nothing that Shiro didn't do herself too.
  180.
  181. Once she managed to create a certain distance from the two combatants and Rilla, she stopped her advances towards Enlazar and Ezton, getting between the two of them and the woman. She would hope that Calie would also stop fighting, since the silver-haired woman didn't really have any intent of hurting the Atl warriors.
  182. (Shiro Mayer)
  183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  184.
  185. [02:54:01] The plants assaulted relentlessly, spores being spilled like bullets, small bulbs exploding in a acid shower that more often than not did hit the eyes blinding monetarily while the skin did rot away. Their mistake was to get so glued into Calie, purple flower bulbs did cover her red hairs, exploding in a toxic miasma that severily affected the lungs and made them lose the sensations of their limbs, all the while spikes did spring from under her. The giant vines constantly slamming on them until it was burned away, but the vines that was on Calie's back kept hitting them hard with a painful whip.
  186.
  187. Each time she was attacked and her earthen shell was chipped away, the giant yiggdrasil in the middle repaired it, when the damage was too much she got ingrained in the ground and it got reshaped back around Calie's body in no time. Mother was making a very good job at wearing the men down before Calie was struck out, leaving worn out targets for Shiro to finish off, witht heir flesh weakned, blinded and severily poisoned and slowed down with mud
  188.
  189. She was in her knees, she looked upat them with only one eye open, the golem doll was now cracked all over. She slowly got up and waited besides Shiro, a semi-feral position could be seen on the botanist like a cornered animal ready to keep fighting, but she didn't act and just observed
  190. (Calie Marie)
  191. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  192.
  193. [03:00:17] Enlazar was worse for wear. His skin irritated from the acidic poison. He looked like he fell into a batch of poison ivy. His heavy breathing was a strong sign of his fatigue, his stance wavering even. His rage had ceased and he was now acute to his senses once again. His eyes wandered around the area.
  194.
  195. Well shit. The Cavalry arrived.
  196.
  197. He turned to Ezton, uncertain of the actions they should take next.
  198.
  199. It was evident that they were barred from coveting the woman, but behind them was a chance to fight another day. The angle of his sword dropped as his wrists pivoted the blade to clip it besides the others on his back.
  200.
  201. What next?
  202. (Enlazar Pasado)
  203. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  204.
  205. [03:00:46] The Champion of Blood was relentlessly knocked backwards, still standing, but his arms were bruised from the constant blocking. He'd notice that the battle had come to an end, since both him and Enlazar couldn't take anymore. He'd stare at them, dilated pupils but eyes void of all emotions. Placing his hands in his pockets, his staff on his back and Gemma on his shoulders, the man would stand there idly as he panted subtly.
  206.
  207. "You've made a grievous mistake, saving the life of a Necromancer. You, flower woman.. as a person who controls nature you openly reside with those tug and harm the lifestream. Your reside with worshipers of the Betrayer, only serving Valmasia as slaves yourselves. You hop onto any opportunity of power and security for your people, not considering the lives you abandon and the lives you save."
  208.
  209. He'd turn heels, facing the opposite direction now.
  210.
  211. "You disgust me. Your pathetic nation will suffer, I'll make sure of it. You've angered Ezton Xizoh, the Champion of Blood, by saving the life of a woman who desecrates the dead."
  212.
  213. Finally, colour would return to the land. Meanwhile, as the hues appeared, Ezton disappeared, leaving his eerie soliloquy to resonate within the ears of those watching. As for Enlazar, he knew that the man was way too fast for anyone to catch. He'd be fine.
  214.
  215. A new enemy had been made, a force to be reckoned with.
  216.
  217. As the Atl would grow, Valmasia would fall.
  218. (Ezton Xizoh)
  219. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  220.
  221. [03:03:56] Enlazar's figure seemed to turned transparent, leaving a ghost of a figure behind. He was extremely quick in short. In the distance you could hear a shout.
  222.
  223. "This is just the start Necros!"
  224. (Enlazar Pasado)
  225. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  226.
  227. [03:04:07] Akari says, "That was..."
  228. [03:04:19] Wilhelm Bishop says, "... eurgh..."
  229. [03:04:41] Rilla sat on the ground to the side, a very dark look on her face. She would remain completely silent for the moment
  230. (Rilla Lithia-Brubeck)
  231. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  232.
  233. [03:07:13] Akari kept an eye on Wilhelm, but then in the distance. A Neries, Tarquin at that. It was excellent. While Calie handled the other injuries. He could help Wilhelm.
  234.
  235. "Tarquin! Can you come here?! Istvan does something to heal...can you do the same? Wilhelm could use some healing!" Glancing over at Rilla, glad that she was ok.
  236. (Akari)
  237. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  238.
  239. [03:08:38] Urgh. His pride was severely dented. They knew.
  240.
  241. They knew he was the threat to them. A couple of slashes into a rib, a very brazen backstab towards Enlazar, even a fully fledged parry of that blade with his knife showed that Wilhelm was the one they needed to focus on, not Rilla. That Enlazar scum wasn't even that fast. He only 'thought' he was fast. If only Wilhelm was stronger, more durable... more trained.
  242.
  243. With labored breaths and a trickle of fresh blood from his brow, the battered, bruised and psychologically damaged Nostvalian remained there on one knee, staring forward at the woman that was captured. Thank the heavens. Back up arrived. The flare served no purpose and it likely flew wide, but back up arrived nonetheless. Thank god for coincidences.
  244.
  245. "Thank... thank god you all arrived when you did...grh..."
  246.
  247. The man knelt down even more, trying to stand up in this state only hurt. Much, much more too. He might've gotten a few more things cracked while the man was done extra crispy. He wants to stand up and thank Shiro and Calie, but with those injuries, he's not moving anywhere anytime soon. The poison his knives carry has now long run out on the grass below. Even at a glance, any man and woman could tell.
  248.
  249. Wilhelm is no fighter. He's simply not built for it.
  250. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  251. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  252.
  253. [03:12:36] Calie would turn to Shiro, a eye still closed before she puts her posture back to normal, as she opens the eye it was obvious it was quite swollen. The redhead would raise a hand to Shiro
  254. -H-heh...h-high five? she asked, how sore she was easily sensed on her muffled tone. The cracked golem doll kept her rocky form, although she actually disliked the necromantic arts, she couldn't turn a blind eye at a hospital place being raided and burned down, and it wasn't a man that sacrificed his emotions that would make Calie feel bad about what she did
  255.
  256. Her body was already hurting a lot, and that's the limit of how bad she was going to let herself feel.
  257. (Calie Marie)
  258. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  259.
  260. [03:14:56] I have put Shiro and Calie in danger,
  261.
  262. Belle remained silent staring at all of them with a worried expression, I should have listened to them. That was childish coming from me. The woman's blue hues stared at Shiro and Calie with a saddened tone. The Gehennans left and Rilla was saved. At least this "walk" saved someone's life.
  263.
  264. Seing that the adults had this under control, Belle turned her back and left.
  265.
  266. Belle decided to isolate herself to think about all of this and how to correct her behavior. The little one didn't know if she was right insisting to have this walk - If she didn't, Rilla would have been taken. But she also put Calie and Shiro in danger.
  267.
  268. The little one would take a seat on bench, next to Silver Lake's Hall. She'll have to talk with Shiro and Calie about it.
  269. (Belle)
  270. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  271.
  272. [03:16:06] The winding mountain paths down to Lengsel offer a considerable vantage point, and so when Tarquin saw signs of combat further down the cliffs it was from quite a ways away. His heart sank as his bile rose to meet it; The focus of the combat was a siege on Gao Deryu, but who's to say what sort of tricks they'd try?
  273.
  274. As he rushed down toward the scene, the bright pink and blue of his wife and the stark lavender of Wilhelm's hair stood out and he was even further panicked at the number of people seemingly surrounding them. By the time he approached, the man was a mana-absorbing streak of black, hitting the floor with a splash of cosmic ichor and staring madly at the group.
  275.
  276. His defenses immediately dropped with relief when he was being waved over. He rushed to Wilhelm's side, looking the man over between glances in Rilla's direction. Determining that they were fairly superficial, Tarquin withdrew emergency medical supplies from his pack and began tending to the scrapes, bruises, and swelling. His voice was quiet, barely above a whisper as he forced himself to focus and remain calm.
  277.
  278. "What... Happened here?"
  279. (Tarquin Brubeck)
  280. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  281.
  282. [03:16:57] Wilhelm Bishop says, "... Enlazar..."
  283. [03:17:06] Wilhelm Bishop says, "... Enlazar and someone else I've... never seen before."
  284. [03:17:12] Wilhelm Bishop says, "They just... they appeared out of the hospital..."
  285. [03:17:19] Wilhelm Bishop says, "They came to assault us. Rilla was nearby."
  286. [03:17:23] Rilla curls herself into a ball, as she stared out over the open area...
  287. (Rilla Lithia-Brubeck)
  288. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  289.
  290. [03:17:32] Wilhelm Bishop says, "I didn't-... I didn't flee or call for help for fear of leaving her to fend on her own..."
  291.
  292. [03:17:37] Akari took note of Belle walking off. "Belle, wait." She looked to Tarquin.
  293.
  294. "I will explain. Enlazar from the Ezmara tribe. And Ezton from the Atl tribe of Gehenna. Attacked, and attempted to kidnap Rilla. Shiro and Calie stepped in, and saved her." Keeping it that, before running after Belle to hug her. Whispering to her.
  295. (Akari)
  296. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  297.
  298. [03:17:42] Wilhelm Bishop says, "... it hurts... it hurts bad..."
  299. [03:17:44] Akari whispers something.
  300.
  301. [03:17:47] Aside from the occasional wounds from a battle against experienced warriors, Shiro was actually rather fine compared to Calie. The botanist was the focus of both of them, and was pretty tired and hurt right now.
  302.
  303. "Yeah.. We can highfive later."
  304. She said, holding the woman by her arms and going closer to Wilhelm and Rilla.
  305. (Shiro Mayer)
  306. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  307.
  308. [03:18:40] Wilhelm 's injuries are superficial, but Wilhelm has rarely ever suffered an injury before. The pain is overbearing. This may very well be his very first 'true' battle in all of Agartha. He's even pale from the shock of it alone.
  309. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  310. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  311.
  312. [03:18:53] Shiro got on her knees, even if she was holding Calie by her arms, looking to Rilla.
  313. (Shiro Mayer)
  314. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  315.
  316. [03:19:01] Shiro Mayer asks, "Are you alright?"
  317.
  318. [03:20:43] Rilla appears to be unharmed. Though she is pale, and looks to be terrified...
  319. (Rilla Lithia-Brubeck)
  320. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  321.
  322. [03:21:23] Calie stared at the woman, the glowing olive eyes searching for any damage at her, it was like her body numbed out for a while at the worry for the woman
  323. -Do you need me to attend to any wounds, Ex-Boss? the botanist asked between the cracked earthen mask, she had a very bad memory but remembered those days -It's okay..t-they are gone now...
  324. (Calie Marie)
  325. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  326.
  327. [03:24:06] Akari would follow after Belle, but she wouldn't stop her. Instead, she would actually fly above the ground. In hopes of Belle not realizing. Just a hope.
  328. (Akari)
  329. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  330.
  331. [03:24:29] Unlike Istvan, Tarquin didn't have any inherent healing magics. The best he could do was bandage and, upon seeing to that with Wilhelm, nodded to the man.
  332.
  333. "I understand. Thank you for that, truly." With a grateful squeeze on the shoulder, Tarquin couldn't stop himself any longer. Giving Wilhelm an apologetic parting look, he spun and practically fell upon Rilla.
  334.
  335. Stopping just short of bowling over her, he then checked her for injuries. Frantic head motions jerked from place to place, his hands reaching into his pack for whatever he could find to patch up whatever he could. He would likely be more in the way than anything for a more experienced healer, most of his knowledge was via osmosis, but he was doing his best.
  336.
  337. An eye darted to Shiro and Calie, his demeanor and body language reading as barely restrained panic.
  338.
  339. "You stepped in to save them? I... I cannot thank you enough. Th-there are no words, both of you..."
  340. (Tarquin Brubeck)
  341. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  342.
  343. [03:25:27] A faint sigh escaped Belle's lips, leading herself back to Silver Lake. Leave me alone.. She thought, seing Akali's shadow floating next to her frame.
  344. (Belle)
  345. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  346.
  347. [03:27:13] Tarquin , upon seeing no serious physical injuries on Rilla either, scuttles back over to Wilhelm and gingerly pulls him over.
  348. (Tarquin Brubeck)
  349. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  350.
  351. [03:28:59] Shiro was now worried about Rilla's mental condition. She seemed to be in shock for some reason. Maybe she wasn't a fighter at all? Not any kind of warrior? Maybe.. Just a doctor? It would explain why she had some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder right now.
  352.
  353. "Calie, I know you are hurt but.. Anything you can do to get her back to senses? It's biological issue, not magical, so... You are better with this than me."
  354. Looking to Tarquin who just thanked them, she scratched her head.
  355.
  356. "No need to thank us Tarquin, just.. Doing what is right. Following the path of Silver Lake."
  357. (Shiro Mayer)
  358. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  359.
  360. [03:31:14] LOOC - Tarquin Brubeck: [Wilhelm once you're done get over here]
  361. [03:31:19] Even through bandages, gauzes, patches and all manner of simple first aid, Wilhelm remains immobile. Out of all his injuries here today, the strongest injury he has suffered is that done to his pride. A scout is to never be seen. No Traces, No Alerts, No Witnesses. That was the 01 motto. Instead, he tried to go valiantly against that code to fight and save one of his own and even against all odds of his savage and unrefined combat style.
  362.
  363. He lost.
  364.
  365. Tarquin's thanks do little to help against the pain the man suffers, both internal and external. What would've happened if Shiro and Company hadn't showed up? Rilla would've been captured and likely slain, and he would've just come back to Avalon, in blood covered bile, pain, misery and likely ridicule. The other fighters would make him well aware of his short comings and what he openly lacks.
  366.
  367. He was no fighter. He came ever so close to defeating the bigger threat betwixt the two, the shadowflame magus... but being close doesn't mean victory. He could practically see the blood trickling from their brow as they sped away in fear of the knives, but in the end, a fight against two bodies is destined for failure. When Tarquin pulls him up, he yelps in serious pain. Even though he cleaned and stop the superficial bleeding, those swells, hits and burns will need time to recover. And no amount of rest or medication will ever truly restore what has been damaged the most here.
  368.
  369. His pride.
  370.
  371. "I failed you... Grand Moff. I... I failed everyone... I'm sorry. If Shiro and her Fiancee hadn't showed up I-..."
  372.
  373. He chokes. He's in too much pain to cry, to continue. He failed.
  374.
  375. In his first true test of will, combat and resolve? He failed.
  376.
  377. He'd have been the last person in Valmasia to likely see Rilla alive ever again due to their violent savagery, while he remained as the sole survivor of the encounter. The Post Traumatic Stress starts to kick in. This is exactly what happened to 01. This... this would've been a repeat of that scenario.
  378.
  379. "I failed you... sir..."
  380.
  381. One can practically hear the pain and devastation in his voice.
  382. (Wilhelm Bishop)
  383. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  384.
  385. [03:34:04] Tarquin gingerly wraps his arms around both Wilhelm and Rilla, tears running down his face.
  386. (Tarquin Brubeck)
  387. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  388.
  389. [03:34:49] Rilla immediately moves to wrap her arms around Tarquin in turn
  390. (Rilla Lithia-Brubeck)
  391. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  392.
  393. [03:37:25] Calie would get out of Shiro's assistance, being on her knees right in front of Rila, the cracked golem doll then reached to the basket of flowers she carried, pulling a big bulb from inside the Basket
  394. -Dear..look into this for me she said while holding it in front of Rila's eyes, the bulb slowly opened into a beautiful and very aromatic Delphinium right in front of her face, it had a exotic color as the lilac hues mended into a soft sky blue in their petals. If she kept observing the flower spinning slowly between Calie's hand, she would start feeling more calm, her heart would stop racing as much, and the terrors at least for now, would subside to give some rest on Rilla's mental state, Calie whispered in a weird, ancient tongue, the same chanting but lower could be heard coming from the Delphinium as well
  395. (Calie Marie)
  396. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  397.
  398. [03:39:17] Rilla looked into the flower for a moment, but seemed to just want to hold on to Tarquin right now
  399. (Rilla Lithia-Brubeck)
  400. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
