  1. Establish the Apache Libcloud Project
  2.  
  3. WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it to be in the best
  4. interests of the Foundation and consistent with the
  5. Foundation's purpose to establish a Project Management
  6. Committee charged with the creation and maintenance of
  7. open-source software related to abstracting differences
  8. between cloud providers for distribution at no charge to
  9. the public.
  10.  
  11. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a Project Management
  12. Committee (PMC), to be known as the "Apache Libcloud Project",
  13. be and hereby is established pursuant to Bylaws of the
  14. Foundation; and be it further
  15.  
  16. RESOLVED, that the Apache Libcloud Project be and hereby is
  17. responsible for the creation and maintenance of software
  18. related to software providing a standard interface to cloud;
  19. and be it further
  20.  
  21. RESOLVED, that the office of "Vice President, Apache Libcloud" be
  22. and hereby is created, the person holding such office to
  23. serve at the direction of the Board of Directors as the chair
  24. of the Apache Libcloud Project, and to have primary responsibility
  25. for management of the projects within the scope of
  26. responsibility of the Apache Libcloud Project; and be it further
  27.  
  28. RESOLVED, that the persons listed immediately below be and
  29. hereby are appointed to serve as the initial members of the
  30. Apache Libcloud Project:

  41. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Tomaz Muraus
  42. be appointed to the office of Vice President, Apache Libcloud, to
  43. serve in accordance with and subject to the direction of the
  44. Board of Directors and the Bylaws of the Foundation until
  45. death, resignation, retirement, removal or disqualification,
  46. or until a successor is appointed; and be it further
  47.  
  48. RESOLVED, that the initial Apache Libcloud PMC be and hereby is
  49. tasked with the creation of a set of bylaws intended to
  50. encourage open development and increased participation in the
  51. Apache Libcloud Project; and be it further
  52.  
  53. RESOLVED, that the Apache Libcloud Project be and hereby
  54. is tasked with the migration and rationalization of the Apache
  55. Incubator Libcloud podling; and be it further
  56.  
  57. RESOLVED, that all responsibilities pertaining to the Apache
  58. Incubator Libcloud podling encumbered upon the Apache Incubator
  59. Project are hereafter discharged.
