"Somin?"

"have you ever thought about erasing yourself completely from the world?" It was one of those nights again, you and Somin laying on Somin's bed while talking about things that were currently on your mind. It was what you two did at least once or twice a week. Somin absolutely loved to listen to you blabbering about the world and your problems and troubles, she was your best friend after all.

"not really. Why do you ask?" She questioned and got up to get the snacks from her table.

"well, you see... I was thinking of exploring the dark web tonight and I was thinking like what if I join a cult or something? Or you know become a hitman and kill bad people but people can't find me and arrest me because I'm always in the dark and I'm quiet and I just suddenly go missing or something" once again you were so excited about what you were talking about and everything seemed so clear in your head. Somin on the other hand, couldn't understand a thing.

"(y/n) what are you talking about? That sounds crazy and exploring the deep dark web is dangerous and you know that. Besides what would Chan say if you suddenly went missing?" she sat down again and started shoving chips into her mouth.

Bang Chan... Your "boyfriend". That boy loved you to bits and you guess you were supposed to do that too, but you didn't. Time spent with him was rather suffocating to you.
Chan was more like your fathers plan to success. Chans parents were CEOs of a great company, but your father was more successful. Honestly, your dad felt threatened so he forced you to seduce chan and to get to know their secrets to bring them down. It was cliche and the most stereotypical way to bring anyone down, but your dad had watched too many of those action movies where the good guy gets tricked into thinking the girl who suddenly was head over heels over him, was no harm whatsoever. you said no at first but your dad said that he'd call the university you're trying to get into and would tell them to decline your application. Blackmail... that's what you called it.
You felt bad for Chan because he was a sweet boy, you just couldn't bring yourself to love him even though he was trying to give you all the love he had.
Somin didn't know your feelings for him were fake though.

"He doesn't have to know," you said.

"Yeah because if you go missing, we definitely wouldn't inform your boyfriend. Anyways promise me you won't go and explore the dark web, who knows what kind of shit you could get into especially-" she shoved chips in her mouth and continued"-with this laptop" she then pointed at your crusty old laptop. truth to be told, you could've gotten a better laptop but you really liked this one and it brings back a lot of memories to your mind.

"that shit doesn't have any type of protection. You could get a virus that can spy you and film you naked and then post your videos to Pornhub or maybe they'll eavesdrop and kidnap you and then kill you"

 Somin was kinda right though...
You couldn't protect this laptop from any viruses and you would probably end up being kidnapped or filmed.
you realized this all too late though because Somin was absolutely right. If you didn't go and explore the web, you wouldn't be in this situation a few hours later.

You woke up in a cold moving object, probably a van since you were just in the back and could hear some people talking on the front seats.
You were tied up and you couldn't really see or scream because your mouth was blocked with a cloth and it was dark. You mentally cursed yourself for going on those sites because now you really were in this situation and just about 5 hours earlier, Somin had warned you to not to do anything stupid.

"Boss, she's awake,"

 one of the men with a deep voice said. you could see a bit of his features from the back because there was a window separating you and the three men sitting in front of you. he had dark hair and honestly, he was rather good looking though you couldn't completely see his visuals.

"Good we have to deliver her to the big boss," the other man said and continued driving.

"Do you know what's gonna happen to her?" the third boy said.

 He seemed young, almost too young. you couldn't see much but he looked like he was younger than you by at least 2 years.

"All I know is that boss wants to use her for blackmailing the CEO because let me tell you Jeno, that man has a shit ton of money that we could really use for our own benefit" the man let out a chuckle and the younger boy, Jeno, switched on the lights on the back of the van and eyed you a bit.

 The ceiling of the van had small star-like lights shining to reveal your figure and you looked scared. you never imagined anything like this would happen but now you were here. stuck and driving off to god knows where just because these men wanted your father's money.

it only took about ten more minutes till the van stopped and you were dragged out. Jeno held you tightly by your right wrist that was tied behind your back and pushed you forward into a room that was filled with what seemed like 13 men. The other two guys walked next to you and one of them grabbed ahold of you left wrist and held you still.

"is this her?"

 a man's voice echoed through the big room that looked like an underground conference room. "she looks rather interesting" the man smirked and eyed your whole figure. he caressed your hair gently and smiled.
 "Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you if do as you're told to do" he took his hand out of your hair and took a few steps back

 "you'll be free as soon as your father pays the amount of money he's told to pay" he turned to look at you again,

 "and if he doesn't-" he took a deep breath and chuckled "let's just say your father will never see you again"

You couldn't help the tears that started to fall on your cheeks and from there to the ground. you cried and all the men were just watching you.
Jeno took the cloth off of your mouth and you let out a loud sob.

"Why, why me?" you cried out.

"you were an easy target considering you used a crappy old laptop to enter the sites that usually stupid girls like you shouldn't enter. Our trustworthy hacker, Winwin found you. For such a famous girl you should know you need to stay out of trouble, but no" the man laughed and pinched your cheek.

The man was about to continue but before he could say a word, he was interrupted by a loud bang that sounded like a leg kicking the door open.
and when you turned around, you saw a tall figure holding a smaller figure by his wrist and pushing him forward so hard that he fell on the ground.

"Taeyong for fuck's sake stop sending your stupid kid spies after me thinking they can win a fight against me" The tall man stepped into the light and you could recognize him now.

Wong Yukhei... you two went to the same middle school together and you used to hear rumors going around that he had a crush on you.
You never believed those rumors because a boy that cute couldn't possibly be crushing on you, those things only happened in books and movies.

"Ah, Lucas, what a pleasant surprise. I was hoping you'd come and visit me again" Taeyongc chuckled and walked closer to the small petite boy to help him up.
Lucas turned to look at you and once he recognized you, his eyes went wide. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. You were captured and held as a hostage by his 'ex-boss'.
"Taeyong what is she doing here?" Lucas said pointing at you and nearly yelling at Taeyong.
"shes just someone whos gonna help us complete our long and very thought out plan," Taeyong said and grabbed you by your waist so tightly that you couldn't really move.

"right, and you thought that by kidnapping the CEO's daughter, you're gonna get what you want?" Lucas chuckled.

He knew that your father wouldn't give away his precious money for anything, even if it was you that was in danger. Lucas knew a lot of things about you. You guys were friends in middle school despite him having a crush on you and you not believing him and him being awkward about it.

"He will" wrong... he won't, and you knew that but you didn't want to tell him that.
