- Maiden - The Iron Defense
- Passive: Maiden has a pair of shields, each mounted on one arm. Each of these shields provide X% reduced damage taken FROM all sources, and reduce Maidens movement speed by X%.
- -The theory behind this passive, is that Maiden's shields act as her ability resource, and must be monitored as such.
- Q: Throw a shield at the targeted enemy or player.
- If enemy: The shield strikes the enemy, and orbits it, dealing damage upon hitting target, and increasing damage done to the target by X% for its duration
- Is ally: The shield protects the ally, reducing damage taken by X% for X seconds.
- W: Throw a shield to cursers location, forming a barricade where it lands.
- Fast missile speed, acts as a small barrier upon landing, roughly minion sized. blocks movement and can be struck by enemy projectiles.
- Example of use: throwing it IN front of a skillshot to block damage to an ally / yourself.
- Throwing it IN small chokepoints to slow people down.
- Additional note: Static thrown shields *CAN* be destroyed, using the same example as ward destruction - ie, X amount of auto attacks will *always* destroy.
- E: Valiant Defense.
- Maiden rushes to a shielded ally to RETRIEVE her shield, and leaves a small damage absorption barrier on ally.
- Maiden rushes to a shielded enemy, dealing damage and stunning at arrival for a brief moment. (Engage ability?)
- - This ability would have a longer cooldown, as it would be designed mostly for shield retrieval -OR- initiating a team fight. If the cooldown was too short, people would use it for chasing + ability spam
- R: Empower shields.
- Maidens gains buffed stats upon activation. Maidens movement penalty is removed for duration.
- Buffed stats could involved reduced damage taken, or increased damage dealt.
- Upon activation: Shielded allies have a % damage redirect to Maiden for duration of effect.
- Upon activation: Shielded Enemies have their shield turn into a spiked barricade, dealing damage for duration of effect.
- Upon activation: Static Shields thrown to location gain a slowing aura.
- Upon ability ending, all Shields are returned to maiden.
- Ability can be toggled again before completed duration, ending all bonus effects and immediately returning all shields.
