  11. This written examination requires core fundamentals, principles and specific knowledge about correctional supervisory and safety procedures, enforcing and supervising duty conduct, as well as the key methods of management and discipline applied to persons under restraint of the San Andreas Department of Corrections (SADoC). The SADoC Correctional Sergeant Exam consists of two segments of written questions and short essays. Successfully attending one SADoC Sergeant Training session (and having met its own requiremenets) is required in order to partake in the written examination. It is also where the core elements required for successful completion, are obtained. The development of examinations is coordinated by the Department of Corrections Training and Recruitment sub-department Sergeant Training branch, which is also responsible for the entirety of the Sergeant Training process.
