- Ok so like, I'm telling you cause I know you can provide feedback when you sit down and read it. If you do that is, please don't lemme stop ye :o
- So The MetroidVania Jam 3 game is part of Project SkyChildren (who would've thought :v) I'm still thinking of the powerups and upgrades and it's literally halting my momentum, that and webcomic distractions (go get a roomie is actually darn good!) :v So to give you the gist of the story;
- The Main Character (MC) falls into a strange world and is greeted by a spirit asking about wo they are; MC doesn't remember who they are or where they came from and have amnesia. However they are tasked with restoring as much of the broken world as they can, Basically needing to reconstruct the world as far as they are able to remember. They have 4, 8 or 12 areas (I keep visualizing the whole thing as a giant circle and then a clock, each number having their segments/area) once they restore everything they'll go back to "noon" and will be allowed basically move on.
- Game Structure:
- Like I mentioned, I keep visualizing this going whole circle; I'll start by making the core areas first, before expanding them. I'm currently limited in upgrades and powerups. But so far 4 levels 12, 3, 6, and 9. Maybe I'll expand them later.
- Upgrades/PowerUps/Etc
- -Health Upgrade (HP)
- -Item/Skill use upgrade (SP)
- -Damage Upgrade
- -Jump Upgrade
- -Run Speed Upgrade
- -Elemental Direct and Circular Skills? (Magic, unlockable)
- -Dash Upgrade
- -Water Boots? (Thinking an area, probably 5 on the clock, is hard to access by a waterfall)
- -Elemental Block Resistances? (Wind (moving back), cold (slow movement), hot (reducing hp), water (no drowning))

- Keep in mind this is a clock - like thing,
- 12 is the exit and final boss, 1&2 are blocked by uneven grond (needing jump and dash upgrades) (old shrine ruins maybe?), 3 is a start dunno which power up or unlockable they'll recieve yet. 4&6 is blocked by water and requires swimming, 6 was the original starting point, but I'm thinking it'll be that stage before 12. Have to plan this. 7&8 is blocked by wind, I visualize this a forest in a storm kind of deal. 9 is another start point, also dunno what to give em. 10&11 is blocked by fire.
