  1. [14:08] Alesia Elisheva asks, "...y-your name is...Keitaro, right...?"
  2. [14:08] Keitaro says, "Hey! And yeah."
  3. [14:09] Alesia Elisheva says, "...thank you for helping my sister."
  4. [14:09] Keitaro exclaims, "Don't mention it!"
  5. [14:09] Keitaro says, "I want to be a hero, and heroes should help people."
  6. [14:10] Alesia Elisheva says, "...you're nice. It's cool you know what you want to be..."
  7. [14:10] Keitaro exclaims, "Thanks!"
  8. [14:10] Keitaro asks, "What do you want to be?"
  9. [14:10] Alesia Elisheva says, "...I don't know..."
  10. [14:11] Keitaro says, "It's okay to not know. You'll figure it out."
  11. [14:12] Alesia Elisheva says, "...yeah. Hopefully..."
  12. [14:13] Keitaro asks, "You look a bit sad. Something up?"
  13. [14:13] Alesia Elisheva says, "...oh...no...I just...thought you seemed nice. So I wanted to meet you."
  14. [14:14] Alesia just kind of. Usually speaks like that. It's weird.
  15. (Alesia Elisheva)
  16. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.
  18. [14:14] Keitaro says, "Oh! I see."
  19. [14:22] The ivory dryad shifts around in place awkwardly.
  20.
  21. Okay.
  22.
  23. She has successfully said hello to Keitaro.
  24.
  25. Progress.
  26.
  27. Now she should...introduce herself, right? She forgot to introduce herself...oh no...
  28.
  29. Taking a shallow breath, she speaks with a noticeable shake to her voice, clearly from a severe case of social anxiety.
  30.
  31. "...m-my name is...A-Alesia. It's...nice to...a-actually meet you, Keitaro..."
  32. (Alesia Elisheva)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [14:26] Keitaro was the exact opposite.
  36.
  37. The young Drakanite had zero social anxiety whatsoever. In truth, he was fairly simple for his age, because he didn't see any reason to even be that way. Maybe it's his background, or just living in a family with many siblings back home, or even something else, but...
  38.
  39. The fact remains a fact that he's very communicative.
  40.
  41. "Nice to meet you Alesia!"
  42.
  43. "I saw you hang out with others here and there. You're one of the Dryads, just like Ilui, right?"
  44.
  45. He had no idea actually, but probably the right guess?
  46. (Keitaro)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [14:37] The tiny dryad nods very, very slightly as her hands fidget around in-front of her body.
  50.
  51. "...yeah...I am...Ilui is...actually my brother."
  52.
  53. That said, even before she admitted to it, it wasn't too bad of a guess. She does have a pair of bark-esque antler-horn-things growing from the top of her head, each several inches long.
  54.
  55. "I've seen you around a lot, too...you help people, a lot...
  56.
  57. Why do you want to be a hero...?"
  58.
  59. It's not a judgmental question she's asking. She's legitimately curious.
  60. (Alesia Elisheva)
  61. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62.
  63. [14:43] So he figured.
  64.
  65. There aren't that many Dryads around here, and even if they're here, they kind of belong to the Elisheva family. By association, he assumes that she's with them too- otherwise, there are little to no other Dryads he knows that don't belong to the family.
  66.
  67. "I see!"
  68.
  69. "Must be pretty cool being with them. Sounds like you get a lot of stuff on you."
  70.
  71. But the question came - why does he even want to be a hero? He already answered that in the past, but it doesn't hurt to answer again; the yellow eyes of Drakanite turned to her right before he would speak.
  72.
  73. "To help people, of course."
  74.
  75. "I think Agartha is in a lot of mess. People have internal conflict amidst each other, they hurt and maim one another, and they resort to violence really quick. I think that should be fixed."
  76.
  77. "If people resort to violence so quick, then how do they ever expect to livepeacefully?"
  78.
  79. "Though... I also realize that nobody takes you seriously, unless you're both strong and wise. So I hope to become wise enough to act as a voice of people - and strong enough to represent their will."
  80.
  81. "I just want Agartha to change. I want to stop the fact that parents sometimes go to war, and never return. I don't want to see orphans because their dad and mom fought."
  82.
  83. "I don't want to see people hurt over silly words, or people losing everything because someone else wanted it, just like that. I don't want people to be sad."
  84.
  85. "That's... that's about it."
  86.
  87. A shrug. He was simple enough about it.
  88. (Keitaro)
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [15:03] It is pretty cool...sometimes. It's also kind of uncomfortable, at times. It's a lot of pressure, to have to try and live up to her mom and dad...
  92.
  93. But that isn't worth mentioning.
  94.
  95. And then...he answers her question, with far more thought than she expected. She's taken aback, but only slightly. Barely noticeable.
  96.
  97. To help people...yeah, of course. And...Agartha is a mess...?
  98.
  99. ...with all the kidnappings, and the fighting, and everything else...
  100.
  101. Parents going to war, never to return to their children.
  102.
  103. People losing everything, because someone was envious.
  104.
  105. The dryad's shifting in place quells itself, a little.
  106.
  107. And no one takes you seriously if you aren't strong, and wise. That's the part that worries her the most...she's never been the strongest, and she's so far behind everyone else with magic...
  108.
  109. He doesn't want people hurt over silly words, or people to be sad.
  110.
  111. By the time he finishes speaking, she's standing still in place, eyes distant in thought- unfocused, even.
  112.
  113. He wants to be a hero to help people, and to keep them from being sad.
  114.
  115. She's only ever thought about her friends, and her family, really...but...
  116.
  117. ...the more she thinks about it, the more she realizes...
  118.
  119. She wants to be a hero, too.
  120.
  121. Her head turns to face Keitaro, and her eyes meet his. Behind her glasses, her eyes carry a look of fierce determination, and further behind that...a burning passion is bound within them.
  122.
  123. With a seldom-witnessed confidence to her tone, and a lack of anxiety present in her voice, she speaks.
  124.
  125. "I think I know what I want to be now.
  126.
  127. I want to be a hero, too."
  128. (Alesia Elisheva)
  129. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  130.
  131. [15:07] He wasn't one to crush someone's dreams or to discourage people.
  132.
  133. Instead, he only smiles in return; the smile as genuine as one could even be at all. There's no such concept as lying or putting others down, when it comes to Keitaro- coy or playful at most, perhaps, but never genuinely wishing another harm. Even to the most wretched of Agartha, for he knew that they are a victim of unfortunate circumstance.
  134.
  135. And sometimes, the only thing that can be done to such is just to stop them from doing anything bad altogether.
  136.
  137. "That's good!"
  138.
  139. "We can be heroes together."
  140.
  141. The gaze of Drakanite turns elsewhere. He sways on his spot a little back and forth, somewhere in thought, but his expression still retaining that smile for a little while. Another thought passes his mind, and he speaks up.
  142.
  143. "Say, if you want to be a hero-"
  144.
  145. "Then we need to come up with a hero name for you! For example, I already settled for Thunder Lord - that's because I'm really good with lightning, and I'll go as far as become the best lightning magi on Agartha! Cool, right?"
  146.
  147. "But what about you though? What do you want to be?"
  148. (Keitaro)
  149. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  150.
  151. [15:38] While she had managed to display some level of confidence, there was a measure of concern that he would discourage her.
  152.
  153. But...instead of that, he kind of encouraged her, more than anything else.
  154.
  155. Her face breaks into a big smile, and she nods, happily.
  156.
  157. In the brief pause while her turned elsewhere, she spoke, quickly...
  158.
  159. "That'd be really cool!"
  160.
  161. Then, Keitaro continues speaking.
  162.
  163. She needs a hero name?
  164.
  165. Thunder Lord is his...that makes sense. He showed he's really good with lightning magic when he helped Eury.
  166.
  167. What she wants to be...she only just figured out she wants to be a hero.
  168.
  169. But...she uses fire magic, so...maybe that could be part of it...?
  170.
  171. Sadly, she's lost her measure of confidence from her declaration.
  172.
  173. "...I...uh...d-don't know. I...I use fire magic...but I'm still learning how to use it..."
  174. (Alesia Elisheva)
  175. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  176.
  177. [15:44] So, she didn't know what to name herself?
  178.
  179. He thought of it carefully. She was a Dryad as he already knew, and then she also used fire magic, which sort of added the whole feeling of warmth, heat, or well, the fire itself. It took a while for Keitaro to think of something, but eventually, he spoke out.
  180.
  181. "Hmmmm…"
  182.
  183. "What about... Harbinger of the Sun?"
  184.
  185. He peered back at her, almost like expecting a reaction; before she could get any further idea, he begins explaining.
  186.
  187. "Think about it! You're a Dryad, right? So you're associated with Nature and plant-life. Plants love sun, so that means you're like... the sun, and bright like one."
  188.
  189. "And since you know fire magic, and there's no greater fire than sun, it sort of... makes sense, you know?"
  190.
  191. "The sun aligns to fire and nature alike."
  192. (Keitaro)
  193. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  194.
  195. [15:54] The ivory dryad shifts around awkwardly in place as Keitaro thinks...then when he speaks, finally?
  196.
  197. Harbinger of the Sun.
  198.
  199. She doesn't really have time to think about it, as he goes into explaining his reasoning...and it makes sense, definitely. The sun is involved with fire, and with nature...but...it's such a long name...
  200.
  201. The girl shakes her head, but she smiles still. Even though it's a thin smile.
  202.
  203. "...I think that's too long...but...I really like the sun thing...
  204.
  205. I-I'll try to come up with something..."
  206.
  207. There's a brief pause, before she continues a little quieter.
  208.
  209. "...thank you for talking to me."
  210. (Alesia Elisheva)
  211. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  212.
  213. [15:57] Keitaro exclaims, "You're welcome! And uh... see you later!"
