<Echo> I got out of the truck to walk up a hill to check a fan, and L20 Rogue said I took about 15 steps sideways and then fell over.
<Echo> I don't remember this exactly, but I remember getting back in the truck, and kinda zombie-ing myself around for a few hours after that.
<Echo> The guy at the main gate said I was a safety hazard and sent me home to get some sleep, on account of I was halfway through my third 84-hour week.

<Echo> Well, clocked hours.
<Echo> I've been pulling 16-20 per day.
<Echo> I just don't get paid over 12.

<Echo> Anyway, that evening, I was gonna try to get some sleep, but Level 20 Rogue called me and told me that another person had quit, and that I needed to come in or else we'd have open posts.
<Echo> So I show up on the day I was supposed to sleep due to being a safety hazard and suddenly narcoleptic.
<Echo> I should mention, L20 Rogue is in about the same place I am; she's been run ragged for nearly as long, cuz she's my only sergeant left; my last supervisory position that can take initiative and change scheduling and things like that without having to constantly bug me on the phone.
<Warscribe> your whole days of duty and combat havent done hgalf the damage 3 months at this company did
<Echo> The NEXT night, we're roving again, and we're sitting at the main gate at the very beginning of the shift
<Echo> I'm working on my paperwork, about to go grab a cup of coffee from the gate.
<Echo> There was one of our guards that was fixing something under his truck beside us, cuz he'd had some gear slippage, and he tells the guy at the gate he was going to try it in reverse
<Echo> So he starts backing up past us, and go by, and I go back to working on my paperwork
<Echo> L20 Rogue is watching the rearview and says "Echo, they're going too fast." I look up just in time to see this guy still accelerating, several hundred yards down the main drag leading onto our property, and swerve into a berm

<Echo> His vehicle shoots up into the air, flips end to end, and comes to a stop, I say "Well, fuck, I guess" and then respond to the accident
<Echo> And then the day just kept getting worse from there on out

<Echo> Radio went out, and I ended up having to sprint 250 yards 8 times while wearing metatarsal boots and a utility uniform in a 105F heat index
