  1. DEGRADED VIPER
  2. BOSS MOB
  3. HP: 200
  4. Abilities:
  5. 1. Multiple Transportation: Degraded Viper mostly slithers around on land, but can dig into the ground like Rot Wyrm. It moves a total of 30 suds before it is allowed to start digging into the ground. After moving 30 suds, every 10 suds the Viper moves will roll a 1/5 chance dice. Upon getting 5, Degraded Viper will dig into the ground, where it can use "Terra Turret". After using Terra Turret 2 times, it will dig back up, where the chance resets.
  6. 2. Sandy Dash: Degraded Viper stops in place, and aims at the player. After 2 seconds, Degraded Viper smashes forward, kicking up a huge dust storm as it goes. When it reaches your original spot, it digs into the ground automatically. Getting in one of the dust clouds makes you have the "blind" injury for 5 seconds. Touching its body while it is dashing knocks you back, dealing 35 Damage. A normal block negates 10 damage, a Monk Shield makes the viper screech to a halt and stuns it for 3 seconds, and a curse Curse Shield knocks the viper back, dealing 20 damage and forcing it to dig into the ground instantly.
  7. 3. Dust Storm: Degraded Viper rolls itself up to a standing position like a regular snake, then fires a huge, ignis-like blast of dust. This gives the "blind" injury for 10 seconds upon being struck, and does 20 Damage & Small knockback.. Lasts for 5 seconds, the viper slowly follows you during this move. Normal Block does nothing, Monk Shield negates 10 damage, and Curse Shield makes you completely immune to this move.
  8. Exclusive Move - Terra Turret: Only available when the Degraded Viper is underground. The Viper Smashes out of a general area around the player, spits a large black boulder at the player, then digs back into the ground instantly. This is repeated 5 times, with there being a 1 second cooldown between each shot. Each boulder does 30 Damage and medium knockback. Nothing can block this move.
  9. THE DEGRADED VIPER'S ARENA
  10. The Degraded Viper's Arena is a expansion of The Burial Grounds, where a high mountain of sand pokes out of the rest, far away to the south of the Spy Tower. On this flat mountaintop, a single tube of rock sticks out, where the Degraded Viper crawls out of if its respawned. When the viper is alive, the tube is sealed off. But when the Viper is defeated, you can enter the tube. Inside, a bunch of trinket spawns exists and a sandy egg exists. Looking at the size of the cracks can tell you when the viper will respawn again. The Degraded Viper respawns every 30 minutes, with each large crack indicating 10 mintues.
  11. Upon being defeated, Degraded Viper drops a Withered Fang and a Degraded Scale. This fang is a required item for the progression of the Assassin Class, where the trainer says "Prove your strength out in the field by defeating a Degraded Foe, out in the presence of ominous beings, and bring back its former weapon." Degraded Viper can also serve as an alternative experience farm and a dodge skill training, as it is way closer than Zombie Scrooms and requires no Mana Skills to get to. This fang can also be turned in to the Monster Hunter in Oresfall for 2 orderly.
  12. The Degraded Scale can be turned into the Monster Hunter for 0.5 Orderly, but is also a required item for Sigil Knights, where the trainer says "Prove yourself out in actual combat with a monster your grade - seek the most scorching, barren places in this world, and bring back its natural armor.".
  13. Adding a pretty weak Boss Mob instead of a bunch of small mobs will make this game more enjoyable for progressing freshies, adding a bit of variety instead of having to sit on a platform and spam click the mouse button, or fight enemies that have no tactic whatsoever and just bodies you. This will allow freshies to get better in a more entertaining way.
