  1. So when he first appeared in Musashi’s Trial Quest, I just thought he was a servant that would never be playable. I mean we had servants like Ereshkigal and Nezha appear in the story for months now, yet they aren’t playable. How could this guy be playable? Even comments of the Musashi Trial Quest Translation on reddit said that he would probably be the most plain servant of them all if he was summonable. That I did think he had some cool concepts around him. I mean he acted all threatening to Musashi, I remember he was about to have a duel with her until she transported.I thought he was an interesting contrast to Musashi, who was all brash and shit, which is funny considering Musashi already has a rival in Kojiro. His real life counterpart was also interesting as he was seen a powerful samurai. Fast forward like 10 months, and Shimosa comes. I thought it was a cool chapter throughout, but when Emperio Saber appeared I was surprised. I was like, “oh that one guy from months ago is back.” I expected that he was going to do something cool. However I still didn’t expect that we were going to fight him so when I actually did, I was not only surprised, but really excited, since the only other male servant introduced (Excluding Green Villain guy and Muramasa) was a 3*, and having such a badass being a servant was really sweet. I was also impressed by his abilities in the fight. I mean lowering a servant’s attack by 100%, having an Arts NP, and charging your NP gauge all made him seem very potent, albeit not as crazy as Saber Lancelot. I do see him being more useful than Lancelot, since his superior NP gauge charge, multiple hit NP, and his dodge and attack down debuffs makes his NP spam and durability far more handy than some instant crit set. I also like how he is the first servant, I think, to have a crit weight bonus on just one of his cards, as that’s more useful than just a general crit weight boost. I will admit I was a bit disappointed by his voice and animations. However, I think it works to his benefit. He may be very normal in many aspects but he can still kick your ass pretty handily without being so flashy. And his NP animation is so cool. It reminds me of old Samurai films with it’s simplicity. I also like him because he’s very experienced in his expertise. And I like a guy with lots of experience at hand. I mean most of the servants in this game know what they are doing, but he is always on his game, ready to cut down any lingering threats near him. In that sense he’s like a reliable teacher that most people cannot compare to. In short, I like him because he sticks out from the other servants, and not having anything too overtly special about him, which makes his abilities stand out more.
