PERSONALITY: miran was raised to believe in telling the truth and nothing but it. (and if she didn’t she’d be punished). her parent’s constantly preaching stuck with her and kept her HONEST throughout her years. she does have that temptation to lie for others good’s, but almost always decides against it and continues on with telling the truth even though it might mean losing a friendship. however, her honesty serves well in her job working as a store clerk. if her clients ask her if they look good in a piece, and they don’t, miran will tell them in a sugar-coated way and gently suggest other pieces.
sometimes it drives miran crazy, but miran is quite FINICKY about certain things. for example, if she sees spots on the utensils, she’ll rewash all of them. if her packaging isn’t perfect, she’ll take extra time to fix it. as much as it annoys miran, it also annoys the people around her. the customer waiting for their shoes, the guests waiting at the dinner table, and so on. when the rare occasion comes that miran is glad that she has this trait is when she gets complimented on it and her work ethic.
maybe because she was exposed to so much media at a young age, but miran is quite CREATIVE. she doesn’t have to think hard about how to express something or to think of ideas, it simply comes to her. she often thinks of ideas that others haven’t been able to and often times, she adds on other ideas to make the original one as perfect as it can be. many people have often asked miran why she doesn’t pick up anything in the creative field as a job (painter, writer etc) but she doesn’t know either.
ever since she was at a young age, miran was always overly EAGER. plenty of meetings were set up between her parents and teacher’s and miran was called plenty of derogatory names in high school due to her eagerness. she realizes that she is can get too excited and most of the time, it’s under control, but sometimes she can’t help it and she seems like a five year old on a sugar rush.
miran is also SENSITIVE/EMPATHETIC. she always cried when animal abuse commercials showed up because she imagined what would happen if her own pet was treated that way. sometimes miran is too empathetic for her own good. finding nemo even makes her cry because she imagines having a loved one of hers pass away. for that reason, she tends to stray away from sad movies and toxic relationships.
miran is also often STUBBORN. even if someone blatantly proves that they’re right, she doesn’t accept it and continues to bicker with that person until they give up and claim defeat. her stubbornness is also a reason why miran doesn’t adapt well to new environments. miran will always choose over living peacefully in a calm and familiar setting as compared to a unique and unfamiliar one.
miran often comes off as RESERVED. and that’s because she is. at least when she first meet someone. based on past experiences, miran automatically adapted to being reserved and cautious  in the way she comes off to others. she doesn’t want to seem eager but she also doesn’t want to seem cold. so she settles for being apprehensive in answering certain questions and warming up to them slowly as time passes.

BACKGROUND: miran was raised in a household full of love and laughter. her dad being a comedian, and her mom being a nurse was the perfect combination for warmth. her dad almost never scolded her because he couldn’t stand to see her tear-stained cheeks so her mom had to do most of the scolding. in preschool, miran was too eager to be friends with everyone which her teachers found to be more cute than concerning. however, as miran began to get eager about everything (her friend’s having to go to the bathroom, her teacher’s sneezing etc.) her teacher’s saw that as a sign for concern. long story short, after plenty of visits to the doctor’s office, it was concluded that miran was simply and excitable girl. when she reached elementary school, her eagerness was taken the wrong way by another girl in her class. there from on, miran was in a toxic friendship with a girl who she didn’t really want to be friends with. that “friend” constantly took advantage of her by using her family’s wealth to get expensive gifts, to steal miran’s other friends and other things. as she reached middle school, miran realized what a horrible friend she was and immediately strayed away from her company. thus, was born her reserved side. as for her grades, miran was an excellent student (constantly getting a’s despite doing the worst on tests) where her greatest weakness was tests. miran would pass with flying colors on projects, assignments and others but would do poorly on tests. her mom saw this and increased the pressure on miran to do better in school. her mom was the only one who really cared for miran’s grades (besides miran herself). her dad just wanted to make sure that miran was happy which was all he ever stressed to miran about her future. miran’s academic maturity shone through in high school where she began studying more than ever. she never missed any meals or sleep, miran was just naturally born with a skill for finding what would be the central ideas in terms of a section. because of this skill, miran was apart of a numerous study groups. as miran grew up to the age she is now,  her dreams developed into the realization that she wanted to become a producer. miran plans to quit her current job to work for a broadcasting station if she works as an intern for a bit. she sees it as one step closer to her ultimate dream.
