  1. Lately I've heard there was a rule change that now as long as you are initiated on a gang you can do whatever you want with their stuff.
  2.
  3. It's been a while since we have seen a change in any of the rules regarding combat storing and what's allowed or is not, recently it has been bought up to multiple peoples attention that players are now allowed to drive vehicles into the water with no consequences as long as there is some form of initiation between the two parties involved.
  4.
  5. After having a discussion with multiple other people in the community (some being rebels and some being high up Police) and some staff members, we feel we should have been made aware of these changes before hand instead of having to learn out for ourselves that it was allowed. Since if only a minor percentage of the community know about the rule how are the rest supposed to react to it, some gang members could log on after the fight and begin setting up at the chop shops to try avoid it being lost or try to get to the APC member before it goes back to the station only to find out that the person has instead driven it into the water, completely negating the need for the chop shops or PD only crush rule. Had the community been informed of this it would have also saved multiple staff coming into conflict with each other and then arguing over if this was a rule break or not as has been happening recently.

  7. The main reason I wanted to make this post was to ask why? Why is this allowed and what benefit does this give to the server, there are chop shops around the map for a reason and BLUFOR also have to take the vehicles back to a designated area be crushed for a valid reason. Making it so people can just drive things into the water is going to cause even more bad relations between gangs, now gangs who have already robbed the initial owners can just drive everything into the water, what if another gang wants to hit them too? These are just some of the things I can think of off the top of my head and that we discussed but I am sure other people can give their opinions and negatives too.

  9. I'll give a situation, APC hit TRN doing a run and (somehow) manage to beat them at Khalithea drug dealer, BLB or TI want to get involved but were keeping their distance due to combat. Cops see that all TRN are dead and so decide to deal with the trucks by driving them straight into the water.... gone is any chance of another gang getting in on it, gone is any chance of TRN's gangmates logging on a few minutes later to try save it. Does this then include jumping out of helicopters? If i'm on by myself and someone robs me for my hellcat and kills me, no more blb online can they just fly into the air and jump out? It's basically the same thing and it again negates any chance of another group jumping in on it or if I have my gang mates log on. (since it takes a few minutes to get to chop shop and more to chop it could end up being 15 minutes to actually get it done vs kill and flyaway & jump out) This new rule opens up a huge can of worms and in fact contradicts itself with many other existing rules that are actually displayed on the website in regard to combat storing. Like I said after a long discussion with many people we just can't seem to understand why this is now allowed and why the rules have not changed since this apparent "Rule Change" is quite a major one. It would be very much appreciated if we could have some insight on this and if we can hope to see some rule changes soon if this is going to be the case.

  11. The Current Combat Storing rules:
  12.
  13. Combat Storing: It is against the rules to store money or a vehicle whilst roleplay is active or when it is clear that someone is intending to rob you. There are a few examples below although these are only examples and there are many different situations other than these.
  14.
  15. Storing your money/vehicle whilst being robbed.
  16. Storing your money/vehicle whilst somebody has started roleplay with or is following you.
  17. Storing money/vehicle during a Hostage Operation.
  18. Driving a vehicle into water so that no one can retrieve it, even if no one has followed you.
