Thread Activity (August 2018 - March 2019)

Seems like the general took a bit of a downturn around the start of December. Between August and November, activity was mostly focused around the 50-60 posters range, with an average of 54 posters per thread. From December to the start of February, this dropped into the 40-50 poster range, with an average of 45 posters per thread. Things seem to have recovered since the start of February, we're now back up to an average of 52 posters per thread.

Since the start of the year, threads are slightly longer lived. They now last 0.3 days (7.2 hours) longer.

Also of note is that we haven't reached the 64 poster ceiling (with one exception) since the start of November.

Notice the thread created 19/02/2019. 72 IPs were recorded on this occasion—a new record. Looks like the Laurem sketch did attract a bunch of new visitors to the general (and maybe prompted some lurkers to post), however nothing indicates that they've been active since.
