  2. I am working on a UK website which has a Canada subfolder page and am aiming to get it ranked in the Canadian SERP. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on what steps should I take to make sure my UK website with the canadian subfolder starts ranking in the Canadian SERP. Is there anything specific I should be doing to improve my rankings in the Canadian SERP?

  21. TLD – Top Level Domain is the main domain name around the web. Today, we have tons of TLDs to choose from but very few of them rank well globally. The main TLDs that rank well globally are: .com, .org, .net

  23. If you are targeting a specific location like United Kingdom, then using an extension (or geographic suffix) “.co.uk. is the best thing to do.
  24. I suggest you use generic top level domains (gTLDs) such as .com or .org and get more backlinks for better ranking.
